'The New Era' is both a print magazine and online platform focusing on Scandinavian interiors,
design, art, and craft. Visit exceptional homes and people, and spend time with individuals
making a difference: architects, artists, interior designers, design producers, and urban farmers
who are contributing in meaningful ways to our visual and material culture. In its first issue the
magazine features artist Anton Alvarez, creative director Nathan Williams, architect Andreas
Martin-Lof, and stylist Lotta Agaton. In addition, it discusses our relationship to objects and
ownership, brand culture, and design in a time of crisis, and gives a nod to the local design
entrepreneur.

At the epicentre of the new avant-garde which emerged in the 1920s was an unconventional
dance troupe that was unhesitant in provoking its audience. Led by Rolf de Mare and Jean Borlin,
Ballets Suedois created total artworks, often through collaborations. In ten chapters written by art
history professors, dance and music historians, theatre scholars, and choreographers, this book
tells its story. Ballets Suedois was ahead of its time in many regards; queer before it was a notion
in gender studies, creating performance art long before Fluxus. This book highlights their
importance for modernism as well as new generations of artists, dancers, composers, fashion
designers, and more.

Fiberspace is a Stockholm-based gallery dedicated to showcasing textile and fibre art, craft, and
design. This volume presents the work of 34 artists, artisans, and designers who have exhibited
there between 2015 and 2020. What they all have in common is an intrinsic application of textile
materials and/or techniques as a central part of their respective practices. Together these
practitioners represent a wide range of departure points, perspectives, and expressions. The
book also publishes new essays by several leading figures within the textile field: Jessica
Hemmings, Bella Rune, Asa Parson, and Delia Dumitrescu.
