    SUBJECT: Rules 5th Edition Sanctioned Interpretations (SIs) and


    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

    The purpose of this Communiqué is to advise all IATF-recognized certification bodies,


    suppliers, and other key stakeholders that the IATF has approved additional Sanctioned
    Interpretations (SI 1 revised and SI 8) related to Rules 5th Edition and approved Frequently
    Asked Questions (FAQ 5-6).

    Sanctioned Interpretations alter the existing published requirements of the IATF Rules for
    achieving and maintaining IATF recognition 5th edition. Frequently Asked Questions clarify
    an existing requirement.

    available on the IATF Global Oversight website: www.iatfglobaloversight.org
