The Extreme Management Center virtual appliances must be deployed on a VMWare or MS Hyper-V • 1 x IA-ES-12K
server with a disk format of VHDX. The VMWare compatible Management Center virtual appliances are • 1 x IA-PA-3K
packaged in the .OVA file format (defined by VMware). The Hyper-V compatible Management Center
virtual appliances are packaged in the .ZIP file format. Refer to the Release Notes for information on
Virtual Appliance scalability.
