Background Information for Learners


Engaging actively in recreational activities like sports is of great help in order for us to
attain a healthy mind and body. Involving in moderate to vigorous physical activities can
contribute to increase the level of performance, academically or physically, which leads to the
positive improvement of attendance and classroom behavior of the learners. It can also lead to
the prevention/risks of having diseases like heart disease, respiratory diseases and many more.
If you are healthy, you can be an asset member of the society. Remember, “Health is a
priceless wealth. Invest while you can”. (Bryant McGill)
So start engaging while you are young and be a role model to your community for a
better next generation!

You belong to the earth. You have purpose to fulfill on the earth. So, we have to take a step as
to have a better, safer and healthier world to live in. Will you take part of this call? What are
you going to do? Would you think it would be worth it if we take action now?
