REFLECTION:

It is known that Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to
change the world. However, the whole world was thrilled and CHANGED by an unseen
enemy that hurdles plans and delivery of quality education to all learners. How can a
nation educate a child when there is restrictions of movement and face-to-face
learning is not possible? When doing so will risk the lives of many, a loss we can’t
bring back when it happens.

The reasons why the Department of Education made a huge transformation,

adjustment and accepted the challenges brought by this Covid-19 Pandemic just to
continue the delivery of learning. DepEd formulated the Basic Education Learning
Continuity Plan (LCP) D.O. 012, s. 2020 to ensure learning continue through K-12
curriculum adjustment and made its Teaching force ready by implementing this LDM
2 Course for Teachers.

This LDM Course 2 will help each teacher to be ready to the New Normal
education scheme and will help them gained knowledge and skills about Distance
Learning as the Modality of Learning for S.Y. 2020-2021 while guaranteeing the
health, safety and well-being of everyone.

Moreover, this Course will help us understand the adjustment on the learning
competencies through the descriptor “ENDURANCE” that will make sure that these
chosen competencies will endure and remain with the learners long even after the
study or grade level is completed. Likewise, it will build the teachers confidence in
adopting to change for we can learn from this course the different Learning Delivery
Modalities for us to plan well our lessons and how we can deliver it with quality to our
learners even in a distance scheme.
