what is cancer disease?

Cancer refers to any one of a large number of diseases characterized by the development of
abnormal cells that divide uncontrollably and have the ability to infiltrate and destroy normal
body tissue. Cancer often has the ability to spread throughout your body. Cancer is the second-
leading cause of death in the world. Cancer is a genetic disease—that is, it is caused by
changes to genes that control the way our cells function, especially how they grow and divide.
Genetic changes that cause cancer can be inherited from our parents. Cancer is the
uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body. Cancer develops when the body's normal
control mechanism stops working. Old cells do not die and instead grow out of control, forming
new, abnormal cells. These extra cells may form a mass of tissue, called a tumor. Cancer is
a disease caused by genetic changes leading to uncontrolled cell growth and tumor formation.
The basic cause of sporadic (non-familial) cancers is DNA damage and genomic instability. A
minority of cancers are due to inherited genetic mutations. Cancer causes cells to divide
uncontrollably. This can result in tumors, damage to the immune system, and other impairment
that can be fatal.
Limiting your exposure to avoidable risk factors may lower your risk of developing
certain cancers.

• Age.
• Alcohol.
• Cancer-Causing Substances.
• Chronic Inflammation.
• Diet.
• Hormones.
• Immunosuppression.
• Infectious Agents.

No, but living a healthy life does make it less likely. There are some things that can increase the
risk of cancer that we can't change. This includes things like getting older and damaged DNA
inherited from a parent. No, we don't all have cancer cells in our bodies. Our bodies are
constantly producing new cells, some of which have the potential to become cancerous. At any
given moment, we may be producing cells that have damaged DNA, but that doesn't mean
they're destined to become cancer. Pancreatic cancer is hard to diagnose early and so – when
it is diagnosed – there needs to be a sense of urgency in treating people with the disease, as it
is the quickest killing cancer.

Stage 4 cancer is the severest form of cancer. It has the highest risk of mortality.
However, stage 4 cancer is not always terminal. In this article, we discuss what stage 4
cancer is, the survival rate for different types of cancer, and what support is available for people
with cancer.
Exhaustion, Weakness, and Desire to Sleep: The cancer patient may become much weaker and
more easily exhausted during these last weeks. They may want to sleep often because of this,
as well as spend most of their day in bed. Loss of Appetite: They may lose much of their
appetite or have difficulty eating and drinking. Just 19% of those diagnosed at stage 4
survive more than 12 months. But now more than ever, those living with lung cancer are living
better, longer lives thanks to the power of research and advancements in treatment. It's
uncommon, but it can be difficult to watch when it happens. Instead of peacefully floating off,
the dying person may cry out and try to get out of bed. Their muscles might twitch or spasm. ...
We squirm and cry out coming into the world, and sometimes we do the same leaving it.
