PROS CONS
1. Learners conform to appropriate
behaviours, when either intrinsically or
extrinsically rewarded.
2. Motivates students to become more
productive in doing their responsibilities are being manipulated, which in
REWARD
and functions.
It motivate students to participate in
school.
3. Motivates students to be more
productive by creating a feeling of pride greater fall and discouragement
and achievement. Successful students
are happy students.
1. Those in authority do not need to
spend so much to administer
punishment. All they need to do is to
PUNISHMENT deprive the child of his or her
privileges.
2. Correct a wrongdoing.
The child immediately stops
misbehaving, accepts the punishment,
and does a short-term compliance.
3. Parents/Authorities Have Control.
1. Some learners can become
addicted to rewards and won’t
study without them.
2. Children might feel like they
turn teaches them how to
manipulate.
3. Increased pressure that leads
if they cannot live up to praise.
 
1. Replicates Violence.
A child who went through so
much painful punishment may
have a tendency to become
violent to their peers and other
people. They might even fight
back authority.
2.  Prone to abuse and it creates
a risk of injury to the students.
3. Students Become Afraid.
