Quoted Rates are for all heights, depths, levels, leads and lifts. The
operations describe below are only indicative & the item is to be executed
as per technical/ manufacturer's specification. Testing shall be done by
ponding water (150mm depth) for 72 hours.

Note: (The Water proofing work must be executed by an approved


specialised Agency. The Contractor shall give a 10 years guarentee as per
instruction of the Project Manager).

1.1 Elastomeric Waterproofing Coating on Horizontal/Vertical Surface:


Providing and applying three coats (consumption: 2.5Kg/sqm/3 coats) of
acrylic polymer modified cementitious water proofing coating over
prepared concrete/masonry surface by brush or trowel strictly maintaining
the coverage including cleaning the surface from dust, mortar splashes and
loosely adhering particles with hammer chiseller, wire brush, nylon brush
and water jetting. Repairing of all cracks and honey combing with polymer
cement sand mortar admixed with waterproofing compound. The liquid
polymer component and cementitious powder compound are mixed as per
manufacturer’s recommendation. The subsequent is applied when the
previous coat is touch dry. Refer Manufacturer’s data sheet for application
procedure.It should have following minimum properties:
1. Elongation: > 200% as per ASTM D412
2. Tensile Strength: > 1.8 N/mm2 as per ASTM D412
3. Crack Bridging Capability up to 2 mm: Pass as per ASTM C836

Flooring :- Providing and laying avg. 15 mm thick mortar plaster (1:6 -


cement: sand) mortar admixed with Integral waterproofing compound of sqm 96 324 31104
approved makes as per manufacturer's specifications.

Wall: Providing and laying a 15 mm thick protective plaster of 1: 4 (cement:


course sand) mortar admixed with integral waterproofing compound of
approved make ans curing the same as per manufacturer's specifications. sqm 594 288 171072

2 WATERPROOFING OF TERRACE
Providing and applying thermal & waterproofing system using in following

sequence;
The cleaning and preparation of the substrate to which the spray
polyurethane foam is applied must be carried out thoroughly to leave a
sound base for the application. Any oil, grease, rust, etc. present on the
surface must be removed mechanically which otherwise may impair
adhesion.
Thermal Insulation:
Supplying and installation of single component spray PUR foam on the
terrace. The spray PUR foam insulation shall have the following
specifications;
Density: 40 kg/m3
Avg. Thickness: As/requirement
Thermal Conductivity (K): 0.00168 W/mK.
Actual area covered would be used for measurement.
Rate shall consider wastage.
Waterproofing Coat:
Prior to application of the waterproofing membrane, an epoxy primer shall
be applied over the spray foam insulation.
The waterproofing membrane shall be single component, elastomeric,
aliphatic polyurethane based cold liquid applied , high build, waterproof
coating system. The mixed product should have the following features and
benefits:
Elongation at break as per DIN 53504 shall be 400 – 500%
Tensile Strength as per DIN 53504 shall be 8 – 10 N/mm2
Tear propagation resistance as per DIN 53515 shall be 16N/mm

Protection Layer
Providing and laying 150 GSM non woven polypropylene / Polyester
geotextile protection cum slip layer for horizontal surface.Laying protective
concrete screed of average 75 mm using with minimum thickness of 50 mm
at the rain water outlet and a slope of 1:120, making wattas at the junctions
of horizontal and vertical surfaces to a float finish, well compacted, curing
for 7 days etc. complete

Contraction joints shall be cut in the screed within 24 hours to from panel
of 3 mtr. X 4 mtr. Size with grooves of approx 6mm width and 30mm depth
& groove shall be filled with polysulphyde or PU sealant.

Membrane Application:

Apply polyurethane elastomer waterproof membrane liberally by


brush,squeegee roller or airless spray. Allow to dry fully between coats.
Apply to a minimum total WFT (Wet Film Thickness) of 1.4mm to achieve
the required minimum DFT of 1.2mm. Apply in one or two coats. Test WFT
during application using a Wet Film Thickness Gauge. Coverage: 2Kg/Sqm

Providing and applying a two component polymer based cementitious
waterproofing system using in following sequence;
Cleaning the internal surface areas thoroughly so that they are free of all
contaminants like dirt and laitance & to remove all the loose materials by
various mechanical means.
Removal of all surface Imperfections, protrusions ,loose concrete & filling of
cracks using Polymer Modified Mortar in the ratio Cement: Sand (1:4) and
5% by weight of cement.
Providing and making fillets at the junction of the walls and the slabs using
cement mortar of 1:4 mix admixed with water proofing compound.
Applying two coats of 2 component acrylic cementitious coating with
elongation >80%,@ 2kg/sq.mtr in two coats all over the sunken slab
including over angular fillet, vertically right up to minimum 300 mm over
finished floor level , achieving a uniform thickness of 1.0mm.10 years
guarantee for waterproofing performance to be given by the principal
manufacturer/main supplier for both supply and application.
Laying protection plaster 15mm, 1:4 admixed with integral waterproofing
compound as per IS 2645 @200 ml per bag of cement.
Sealing of Pipe cut outs
Supplying & sealing the Sanitary pipe inserts, provided in the floor & walls
with double sided bituminuos tape and supplying & grouting the gaps Nos. RO 180
around the pipe inserts with non shrink free flow grout.

Providing and applying waterproofing system using in following sequence; Sqm 1250.00 384 480000

Cleaning and making necessary surface preparation by compressed air/


mechanical scarifier to remove any dust and laitance etc., chasing open the
construction joints and sealing the same to form a U shaped groove of
approx. 20 mm width and 20 mm depth, using SBR latex polymer modified
mortar carrying out injection grouting at the construction joints,
honeycombs, etc., by injecting cement slurry grout admixed with
expandable grout additive to full saturation wherever necessary thereafter,
providing & applying one coat of two component solvent free epoxy
primer @ 0.15-0.20 kg/ m2, followed by providing & applying 2 component
polyurethane elastomer waterproof membrane liquid applied
elastomeric seamless membrane by roller / squeegee with a total
consumption of 1.60-1.70 kg/ m2 to form a total system DFT of 1.50 mm
thickness, having Tensile strength of > 6 N/mm2, Elongation of min 600%,
Solids content of 100% & Shore A Hardness of over 50 ,applied on
horizontal surfaces and on verticals upto 300mm height above the FFL,
ponding with water for 2 days to test the water tightness etc complete.

Providing & laying 150 gsm geotextile layer over the Pu coating.
Further laying protective concrete screed of average 75 mm using M20
grade concrete with minimum thickness of 40 mm at the rain water outlet
and a slope of 1:120, making wattas at the junctions of horizontal and
vertical surfaces to a float finish, well compacted, curing for 7 days etc.
complete.
Membrane Application:

5 Injection Grouting
5.1 Cementitious Grouting Nos RO 144
Making “V” grove at all construction joints. Injection grouting after fixing
the PVC nipples at an angle of 45 degree to the surface in zig zag pattern
along the crack or fault zone with 40PSI grout pump using cement slurry
mixed with non shrink grout additive for cementious grouting mixed with
cement slurry as per manufacturer specs. of approved make using suitable
injection equipment at all injection nozzles/ports locations till the refusal or
back flow of the material along with removal of injection packers and filling
the grove with cement sand mortar 1:4 admixed with polymer modified
mortar of approved make.
5.2 PU Plain Injection and PU foam Injection Grouting Nos RO 216

Find the weaker point, install mechanical injection ports NRV nozzle and
apply the single component PU plain injection grout incase of dripping
above process is followed by PU foam Injection or equivalent has low
viscosity, high penetration, quick setting and forms tough & flexible
polyurethane rubber after complete chemical reaction, etc.

Terms : 1. The rates Exlusive of the GST Extra @ 18% . 2. 10% of the above estimate advance with work
order, 50% on the receipt of the material at the site, 30% on the running bill & balance 10% on the

extra cost which shall be decided by both the parties on requirement.
