Reopening Plan
As of January 19th students wishing to return face-to-face for in person instruction may. Those
families who chose face-to-face instruction on the survey have been contacted to confirm their
attendance for on campus instruction. If you have not been contacted, it is assumed you will
continue in the virtual learning environment. If at any time you wish to change your child’s
instructional setting, please contact the office at (915)236-0475.
McKinley Gate: Pre-K, Kindergarten, Ms. Morgan’s Class and 3rd Grade
Mountain Gate: 1st Grade & 3rd grade
Front Doors: 4th Grade & 5th Grade
Campus doors and gates will open at 7:30am. Students will be held in designated locations
with social distancing practices followed until 7:45am, when they will begin going to their
classroom. Parents will not be allowed inside the gates, this includes Pre-K and Kindergarten
students. We will have staff on duty to assist students to their designated locations.
The instructional day begins at 8:00am and students who arrive after 8:15am will be counted
as tardy.
Both the Mountain and McKinley gate will close at 8:15am. Students dropped off after 8:15
must be signed in through the office, accessed through the front doors.

Open from 7:30am-8:15am
Mountain Gate Open from 3:25pm-3:45pm

Front Doors
Open at 7:30am-4:00pm
Breakfast and lunch will be in the classroom and will be provided for all students. Students
may still bring their own lunch if they choose.
Students will not have access to the water fountains. Parents are encouraged to send students
with a water bottle.
All students will need to wear a face-mask and are required to wear it all day in all settings
except during lunch and PE.
Uniforms
The uniform policy will be enforced for face-to-face instruction. The nurse will not be able to
provide extra clothes to students who may have an accident or spill food/drink on themselves.
Please send extra clothing for your child in the event of an emergency.
School Supplies
Students returning to campus must bring all issued textbooks, their iPad/Macbook, and their
charger. All other student supplies will be provided by the campus. Supplies will be specific to
each student and will not be shared.
Dismissal Information
Student dismissal will begin at 3:25pm. Students will dismiss from the same gate they were
dropped off at, with the exception of 4th and 5th grade, who will dismiss at the Justus gate.
Students will be dismissed to parents one at a time to ensure social distancing. Please be
prompt when picking up students, we will not be able to hold students in the office.
