for corrective lenses
To make sure that any athlete can benefit from
high-performance sunglasses, Cébé has
developed lenses (5) that are fully integrated
with the design of the frame. With base 6
lenses, all athletes can have their own
corrective sunglasses prepared by their own
optician, even if a strong prescription is needed,
while still maintaining perfect optical quality.
The design of the lenses is based on the
shape of the frame, for lateral protection
from the sun and wind comparable to the
original base 8 wrap-around eyewear.
For weak prescriptions, a clip-on attachment
(6) is also available for switching between
different sun lenses, allowing the wearer to
adapt the equipment depending on the
weather. With the 2Dmatic adjustable
nosepiece, the distance between the clip-on
and the eye is preserved.

Cébé a développé un système d’oculaires (5)
complètement intégré au design de la
monture. Grâce aux verres base 6, chaque
verres solaires correcteurs, même en cas de
correction importante, directement par son
opticien, en gardant une qualité optique
parfaite.
Le design des oculaires suit la forme de la
monture, permettant une protection latérale
contre le soleil et le vent comparable aux
verres base 8 enveloppants originaux.
En cas de correction légère, un système
de clip optique (6) est aussi disponible et
maintient la possibilité d’interchanger
les verres solaires pour adapter son
équipement aux conditions climatiques.
Grâce au nez réglable 2Dmatic, l’espace
entre le clip optique et l’œil est préservé.

Damit jeder Athlet von leistungsfähigen
Sonnengläsern profitieren kann, hat Cébé ein
komplett in den Rahmen integriertes
Verglasungssystem (5) entwickelt. Dank der
Korrektions-Sonnengläser selbst bei einer
starken Korrektur direkt von seinem Optiker
herstellen und einsetzen lassen und dabei
dennoch eine perfekte optische Qualität
beibehalten.
Das Design der Korrektionsgläser passt sich
der Form des Brillengestells an, was einen
seitlichen Schutz vor Sonne und Wind erlaubt,
Kurve 8 vergleichbar ist.
Bei leichter Korrektur ist außerdem das Clip-on
System mit einem optischen Clip (6) erhältlich.

supplied with non-slip nosepads which stay in
place for a secure yet comfortable fit. The Wild
and Cinetik nosepads are also adjustable to suit

The sideshields are adjustable in 2 positions.
When closed, the sideshields stop sunlight,
wind and dust from entering via the sides.
When open, the sideshields channel the
airflow to the inner side of the lens avoiding
lens fogging.

Up until the age of 14, the eyes of young all-stars are still developing, and are extra-sensitive to
intense light. The most dangerous of the sun’s rays are UV radiation and blue light, which strike the
retina all day long. Prolonged exposure to blue light can lead to retinal damage and cause premature
aging of the contour of the eyes.
Avant l’âge de 14 ans, les yeux des petits champions sont en-cours de développement et sont
particulièrement sensibles aux conditions de luminosité extrêmes. Les rayons du soleil les plus nocifs

Melanin is the pigment that makes hair brown and makes skin tan, and it’s the natural shield that
children’s bodies have against blue light and UV radiation.
CÉBÉ 2000 Melanine lenses filter out 100% of UV rays and 98% of blue light: the most dangerous
rays never reach the retina, while lower-energy rays get through, allowing the wearer to see the
colour blue and have an excellent and natural perception of the surroundings.
