DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
For years, domestic violence has been a problem faced by several Latin American families.
Currently, the rate of this problem continues to increase, 8 out of 10 families in Latin
America live in critical conditions due to the lack of care in these cases. Many families face
social problems such as exclusion, discrimination, in addition to psychological problems.
The government intends to intervene in each case, to provide solutions to these families
through individual monitoring, marches, educational talks, although the situation is
considered difficult, the first steps are being taken. This initiative should encourage a
change in the history of these families and the lives of the children who suffer the
consequences.

TIPCAL DISHES OF ECUADOR

Ecuadorian gastronomy is the result of a magical combination of ingredients from the
three regions of the country. The representative dishes of the Costa region are
encebollado: bolón de verde, tigrillo, fish bun, corviche, criollo crab and encocados. The
representative dishes of the Sierra region are: potatoes of locro, fry, llapigachos, cuy,
humitas, hornado and yahuarlocro. The representative dishes of the Amazon region are:
seco de guanta, maito, ceviche de palmito, ceviche de caracol. Each typical dish is a fusion
of ingredients. Thanks to the different regions that are within the country it is possible to
have a great variety of typical dishes, which are tasted by locals and foreigners.

ALAUSI TOURIST PLACE OF CHIMBORZO-ECUADOR

The province of Chimborazo covers a large variety of natural attractions forming great
landscapes of the High Land region in Ecuador such as Alausí. One of the most important
attractions for the country is the railroad. The railway line crosses the country through
different places from the mountains to the coast Ecuadorian and one of the places that
acts as a point of union between the coast and the sierra is the Alausí canton . For this
reason, Alausí is considered a town with the greatest influx of attractions in the province
of Chimborazo, thanks to this tourist attraction that the Alausí canton presents, tourists
and visitors feel the need to know and explore every corner of this magical place.

THE SPINNING TOP TRADITIONAL GAME OF ECUADOR

The spinning top is one of the most traditional games and remembered by the Ecuadorian people ,
this is practiced at any time and in any place both for children, adolescents or adults . The spinning
top is a toy, made with a very consistent and hard wood generally found in the Andean hills and
moors of our country, the tops are manufactured by very skilled carpenters. The game of the
spinning top consists of wrapping the top of the rope or cord, and then launching it with an
accurate blow to the ground and that it begins to rotate. In this way, the traditional game of the
spinning top remains in force in the new generations since it is very striking and dynamic.

Martha and Kelly are two bright girls who have been friends for as long as they can remember.
Their families were neighbors and the girls started playing together even before they learned to
speak.Although they were very close to each other, they lost touch when they both went to the
university in different parts of the country. A few years later they met by chance at a coffee shop
in downtown London. They recognized each other instantly and after a few minutes it seemed that
they had never been apart. They discovered that they had followed similar paths and were both
thinking about starting their own business, but didn’t have enough capital to do it alone. As they
kept on meeting frequently, they realized that their dreams would come true if they started a
business together.After a lot of hard work, their business is flourishing. Martha and Kelly found out
that good friends can also become good business partners.

My sister Maria is the best!

Maria is my youngest sister and she is so beautiful! She is tall and slim. Her hair is like mine. It is
long, brown and very curly. She has blue, big eyes. Also, she is fair-skinned and freckly. She is really
pretty.

Her personality is very moody. One day she is very happy and the next day sad. However, she is
very friendly. She has a lot of friends in her school. She loves to cook and to listen to music. She
always listens to classical music. She would like to become a dancer one day. I love her!

PARRAFO ARGUMENTATIVO

This topic causes a lot of controversy all over the world. Many people are in favor and a lot are
against.  Is it really killing when an abortion is made or is it saving lives of ill women that present
pregnancy danger? Do people do something bad or is avoiding potential suffering of a human
being that will not have nothing or nobody to count on during his/her childhood?

The latest research about the topic let us know that if this procedure is made in certain level of the
pregnancy we will not be killing, also some researches say that a high percentage of women have
saved their lives when they took the decision. On the other hand, some countries allow the
procedure when the pregnancy comes from a rape. Despite the evidence presented in the
previous lines a lot of people are still against.

In conclusion it could be said that despite all the advantages that abortion could bring to society, it
is not totally accepted yet.
PARRAFO EXPOSITIVO

A heart attack occurs when the flow of blood to the heart is blocked for a time, causing the heart
to be damaged or the heart cells to die. Usually the blockage of blood flow to the heart that causes
a heart attack happens because a clot forms in one of the coronary arteries. Cholesterol is one of
the main causes of blocked coronary arteries, which happens slowly, but at some point it can
impede blood flow or trap a clot between these walls, causing a heart attack. Stress is one of the
causes that cause the heart not to receive a sufficient amount of blood and oxygen, since under
this circumstance the body requires an increase in blood flow and in case the arteries are partially
blocked, this becomes difficult and a heart attack can occur. It is not always possible to determine
the causes of a heart attack, unless the necessary tests are carried out, it can happen while resting
or sleeping, after intense physical activity, when doing activity that involves physical exertion in
extreme weather. Cold, after suffering an upset, or a very strong emotional tension.
