1. By 2050 the number of vehicles will be tripled. Cars won’t have regular steering wheels because it’s going
to be digital, connected to the internet and voice-directed with virtual personal assistants. It will be possible
to change the colour by apps. Predictions are that most of vehicles are going to be electric and that’s the
reason why materials used for making them will be cobalt, lithium, carbon fibre or thermoelectric materials.
There will be both combustion engine and turbocharged rotary engine. As a fuel we’ll use hydrogen which
will be converted into electricity. It’s eco-friendly, easily produced from water and its emissions also come
in the form of water. Many companies are working very hard on these ideas for the future. Some of them are
Audi, BMW, Toyota and even Apple and Google.

2. In 2050 women will, hopefully, have as many hair colours, body parts upgraded, enlarged or removed, as
they want.

3. In the future we’ll probably continue to use steel, bricks and concrete for building our homes. However,
scientists have discovered some new materials, such as graphene and bio-concrete, which will possibly be
used in some smaller amounts solving particular problems. With technology constantly evolving we’re set to
see a huge upgrade in house components. Windows will be made of smart glass and have automated security
features, which means they’ll close when the owner leaves the house and activate the alarm in the case of
intruders. Most appliances are going to be voice-responsive, while ovens or washing machines will send
notifications on the phone when they’re done. Lightening, speakers and curtains will probably be internet-
connected, collecting data to personalise the setting based on the user.

4. In 30 years from now most of clothes will be unisex. Many companies will allow consumers to design
their own clothes they want to buy. In some cases people are going to be able to 3D print their own shoes at
home. It’s very possible that future clothes will be made of renewable materials, agricultural byproducts and
even mushrooms. Clothes will be colourful and fun.

5. In 2050 the world around us will be a part of massive computing system. Computer processing power will
double 20 times. They will be everywhere: buildings, vehicles, highways, even in the clothing. Shopping ,
learning , teaching , coaching , meeting - everything will be fully online. Today's computers operate using
semiconductors, metals and electricity. Future computers might use atoms, dna or light. Smartphones and
tablets will increasingly replace desktop and laptop PCs.

6. By 2050 women won’t be the main clients of cosmetic and plastic surgery. In order to slow ageing men
will also become more aware of beauty products. They are going to dye their hair. Clothes will be unisex and
there will be a lot more gender equality.
