CONTENT ARCA III issues report.

INTRODUCTION

In this document we give you the information about main pending issues with the version 6.30 of
CPU ORONA ARCA III, with the objective of giving you the information required to resolve them in
the event that is produced.
INFORMATIVE NOTE

New Installations:

1.-Symptom: Fault 619 (problems with encoder) during learning travel.

Test: Check if the parameter “Distance CO” in the menu 3.4.3 is too high (5000…).

Solution: Go to menu 3.4.2 and change the parameter “Normal Speed” to another one (no matter
which) save parameters in the menu 4.1.2 and then return the “Normal Speed” (3.4.2) to the original
value and save again.

2.- Symptom: TFT does not show floor number.

Solution: For the Arca III controllers, first 2 switches (of SW1) should be ON in the TFT.

3.-Symptom: Faults 310/311 wrong direction

If cabin is moving in the correct direction, you should go to the menu 4.3.1 in the controller and
change the parameter of sense of movement.

If the cabin is moving to the reverse, you should access the drive menu 4.4.1 and change the sense
of movement, if it still does not work, go to menu 3.7 and change parameters 18.40, 4.09 and 7.13.

New Installations and Service:

1.- Symptom: Does not attend floor calls and after a power off/power on it Works properly
again.
Test: Enter to the menu Extensions in the controller. Go to the car/variables and check the SW
version.
Solution: If the SW version is lower than h32, you should exchange EXT2 (not old ones, you should
ask a new one to Global Spares by CRC). The version H32 is sent in all new lifts from August 2016.

2.- Symptom: Faults 602 o 603 (V>03) sporadic

Solution: Not still solved. You should cancel movements with doors opened in the menu 3.5.5 VO3
Control (NO) and save parameters in the menu 4.1.2.

3.- Symptom: In the menu 2.1 does not work the rope cycles counter
Solution: With OMS go to the menu controller and activate the parameter 4.7.1 Ini. Cycles (YES).

4.- Symptom: When updating the SW of the CPU, the language change to Spanish.
Solution: Change language by using HCI menu 4.

5.- Symptom: battery faults like 1819 in the controller or anomaly 211 in the NGE with
battery full charged.
Solution: Ignore them. In the near future limits will be changed and these faults will not arouse.

6.- Symptom: Siren does not work when we push the cabin pushbutton. Arca III controller
does not include the siren, so if it is required it should be asked like an optional.

Note: If you need to access the controller without OMS, the Access code is the same as it was for
the Arca II. However, if you had a 5 digits code, now for Arca III it will be the four digits on the right.
Examples:
- Password Arca II: 0006 >> Password ArcaIII:0006
- Password Arca II: 12345 >> Password ArcaIII:2345
