TUTORIAL ASSIGNMENTS (INDIVIDUAL)

This part of the course involves going through what

is taught in class in terms of selecting a project and
the planning aspects involved based on the triple
constraints.

Three individually written reports at the end of

tutorials on Weeks 6 and 10 are to be submitted.

Penalty for late submission is 10% of your score

per late day.
THIS IS AN INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT

In 2,000 words or less,

•Describe the group project
•Identify the project’s stakeholders, group team
members and describe their roles
•Critically evaluate the evolution and performance of
each team member, including yourself
•Penalty for late submission is 10% of your score per

REFLECTION

submitted, the Student’s Group Project Grade
Portion Will Also be an Automatic ZERO
GROUP PROJECT

Form a group of not more than FIVE members. As a

group, decide on the following TWO options for a
specific project to undertake. However, each project
must be actualized before the project presentation
on Week 13.
Option 1
• Select your own project to undertake. The project must involve external stakeholders
and must generate some value, tangible or intangible.
• Each team is given a project stipend of $250 to work with. All claims must have
receipts and they must be filed with the Department’s Office in order to be
reimbursed.
• The project’s entire process must be documented and in addition, a video storyboard
detailing what went on during the project (not exceeding 10 mins) is to be produced
along with the final report.
GROUP PROJECT (CONTINUED)
Option 2
• Embark on a project that may eventually be marketed as a
product or service under a specific category on AscendED.

• For products, the produced materials of a given project are

eventually marketed on AscendED. Each Project Sponsor and
team member would also earn an ongoing subscription-based
income for that project.
• For service-based projects, the project team that secures and actualizes the service
contract would also receive an agreed upon commission upon the actualization of
the service.
• The project’s entire process must be documented and in addition, a video
storyboard detailing what went on during the project (not exceeding 10 mins) is to
be produced along with the final report.
