Basics and Experience
Before you begin slaying hoards of hobbes or saving entire villages you must understand the heaps of information that is
available to you in Fable. Be sure to use your menus to access all of your equipment, quest information, statistics, and
notes on your journey so far. From there you can also go to system options like saving, game options, and quiting.

Saving
The game has two types of saves. There is a "hero save" and a "world save." The world save is the traditional type of
save that will record exactly where you are on the map and all of your character progress. A world save however cannot
be done while in a main quest. These include the optional quest cards that you can accept in the hero's guild. The other
type of save is called a hero save and will only record your character's progress. This means that if you absolutely must
shut off your game while in one of the main quests, you can still retain all of the extra gold, experience, and renown you
have obtained thus far in the quest.

Quests
You receive most of your main and side quests at the guild in the map room. Either press the Interact button while facing
the map, or speak to the Guild Master to advance the story. Go to the menu to access all of your quest information. Here
you have current quests and past quests. You can also zoom in to get a closer look at your mini-map. The direction of
current quests are marked on the map by guild seals. Gold seals indicate main, or story quests, while silver seals
indicate side quests.

Boasting
While accepting most quests, you have the option to boast. This is a wager that you will complete the quest with added
rules or requirements such as using no armour, using no weapons, or not suffering any damage. If you successfully
complete the boast, you are rewarded with added cash.

Expressions and Gifts

Expressions are arranged by social, renown, alignment, and stealth. You will learn new ways to express
youself throughout the game depending on your style of play. For example, you will not learn the insult expression
unless you are extremely evil. Try using a few expressions on towns people, they have immediate results. Two of your
most important expression are in the social category. These are wait and follow. They can be used to control other
characters when they join you on quests.

In the Items Menu, you can access Trophies, potions, gifts, produce and others. "Others" refers to special food items
that have an effect on your status.

Crime Doesn't Always Pay

Being evil has its benefits, but it can also get you into trouble. Committing acts of violence, theft, or vandalism in town
will bring you hefty fines. If you refuse to pay the guards will attack you. If you cause enough trouble in a town you will
be kicked out and banned from the area. Don't worry, this wears off after some time passes. If you hang around town
guards long enough they will ask if you would like to sponsor their break. This basically means that you bribe the guards
to look the other way while you do whatever you like. During their break the guards will be whistling, so pay attention.

Murdering townspeople will not only earn you evil points, but it will cause their property to go up for sale. You can then
buy these buildings and charge rent to new tenants. This can be an easy way to make money over the course of the
game.

Crime Fine
Carrying weapon in town 40
Vandalism 250
Burglary 750
Assault 500
Lock Picking 200
Stealing 750
Murder 2,000

Leveling Up
One of the nicest parts of Fable is the control you have over how to advance your character. The guild seal in the bottom
left hand corner of the screen will flash with an icon of a small man when you have gained a significant amount of
experience. However, you can return to the guild at any point to spend your experience in the three categories. Each
category goes up to level 7 at which point it is maxed out.
Strength
Strength encompasses the three qualities that make up the typical beefcake of a melee fighter. The first of these is
Physique. Physique determines how much damage you inflict each time you connect with a weapon. Health is simply
your number of hit points and is displayed by the size of the red bar at the top of the screen. It should also be noted that
large amounts of health will give you character a beefier appearance. Toughness is your natural ability to take damage.
Think of it as your armor rating before you actually put on the armor. A really tough character may not need to wear
extra armor because of his ability to take damage.

Skill
Skill sort of encompasses your niche abilities. They may not seem as important as hit points or magic at first, but high
levels in this area can yield some surprising results. Speed is the first skill ability that is available. This determines how
quickly you move and swing a weapon. Since this affects how many hits you can get in quickly on an enemy, this
becomes important on bosses and has a huge impact on your combat multiplier. Guile determines how stealthy you
character is. After you reach level three, new options become available. These are the steal and lock pick options.

Will
Will is your magic power. There are some incredibly powerful spells in Fable so don't ignore this area. Even if you prefer
to get by on brute force, having a will power to fall back on can be handy. There are three types of spells to put
experience towards in Fable and there is your overall magic power. Magic Power decides how large the bar is indicating
your will energy. The three groups of spell are Attack Spells, Surround Spells, and Physical Spells. Some of these spells
also have an alignment, meaning that a good character will have to spend more experience on an evil spell. Alignment
spells are not available to characters of the opposite alignment after level 4.

Chow Down
Special food items and potions that grant you experience work with the combat multiplier. The +3 Strength granted by a
piece of meat can be multiplied to have a much greater effect. Drinking beer has no statistical effect but will make you
drunk which causes the screen to blur and double. After a few too many beers you will vomit. Also, eating too much food
without moving will make your character gain weight.

Visit the local barber or tattoo artist to change your appearance. This can be an easy way to change your level of
attractiveness and scariness. Tattoos are only effective if they are visible. Note: If you are particular about a hairstyle,
you may not want to focus on Will Powers. This causes you to go bald and age faster.

Combat and Thievery

Combat
Combat can be broken down into three categories: Melee, ranged, and will (magic). There is enough opportunity for
experience in Fable that if you are willing to put the time in, your hero can master, or at least become fairly skilled in
each area. A character that focuses on melee combat can easily power up three or four spells if they so choose.

Combat Multiplier
The most important part of combat however is the Combat Multiplier. The combat multiplier appears in the upper left
hand corner of the screen. You can add to the multiplier by hitting an enemy repeatedly without taking damage. The
multiplier adjusts for the strength of a weapon, so a weak but quick weapon will yield approximately the same results as
a powerful but slow one. Note: Teleporting, walking into a new area or activating a loading screen in any way will
diminish your combat multiplier by half. Teleporting can still be exploited to boost a multiplier, this is discussed further in
section regarding the Demon Door outside of Hobbe Cave.

Experience is multiplied by 100 according to your combat multiplier at the time of collection. This is also true of potions
that boost experience in the three areas. This means that you will want to save potions for a time when your combat
multiplier is high. There are a few tricks to getting your multiplier super high, many of which have to do with taking
advantage of certain spells. Casting the slow time spell makes it much easier to dodge attacks and string together your
own assaults. The absorb damage spell is by far the best spell for ensuring a high combat multiplier. The spell transfers
the cost of damage from health to mana and while it is activated your multiplier will never be interrupted.

Flourish The flourish attack is activated after consecutive melee attacks without your character taking damage. Your
weapon will glow a fiery red when flourish is available. This super attack lasts infinitely as long as you never miss when
using it or take damage once it has been activated.

The biggest advantage to connecting with a flourish besides the increased damage is that it will often knock a character
over or stun them. Also, performing a flourish attack on a stunned character will often lead to a decapitation. Hint: When
you perform a decapitation it is possible to kick the head. The type of flourish attack you perform also depends on the
location of the enemies around the character. Some of the most useful flourishes are circular attacks that will hit
anything surrounding the hero.

Block and Roll

Blocking does not guard against all melee attacks and will not help you at all against magic. Instead, you will need to
become used to rolling. Simply hold down block and direct your character with the right analogue stick. While the hero is
rolling, he is invulnerable to any attack. Rolling is most helpful against bosses or large area attacks like ground swell
brought upon by rock trolls.

Ranged Attacks
Hit the black button to take out your ranged weapon. This works the same as a melee weapon, lock on and press the
Attack Button to fire. The longer you hold it, the more powerful your shot will be. If you hold
down the Lock on Button, this will cause your character to strafe while still locked onto the
target. You can also click on the left analogue stick twice for a zoomed view of the target.

Thievery
Thievery can be very lucrative in the land of Albion. The first thing you need to work on in order to be a successful thief
is raising your guile. This enables you to sneak without being noticed by creatures or guards.

At level 3 Guile you will learn to steal items. Stealing is easy, walk up to an item you wish to take and a robber icon will
appear in your quick use menu. If someone sees the act of robbery, then the attempt is unsuccessful. Before attempting
to take an item check out the eyeball icon on the top left of your mini-map. This will let you know how many people are
watching.
At level 6 Guile you will learn to pick locks. This works exactly the same as stealing except on doors. It is best to use
these two skills in conjunction at night. There is plenty of loot to be taken at the shops in Oakvale, Hook Coast, and
Barrowstone North.
Marriage and Property
Settling down with a maiden or two is not a requirement in Fable, but it can be fun and rewarding. The first thing you
need to know about courting a mate in Fable is that you will be highly unsuccessful at forming a relationship early in the
game. Most people will let you know what they are looking for once you learn the "flirt" expression. A woman might
respond saying that a bit more renown would be nice, or that she prefers someone who takes more care in their
appearance.

Appearing attractive is also very important when attracting a mate. Throw on some classy threads while walking about
town. One of the best outfits for impressing women is the Bright Will User's Oufit. You will also want to select an
attractive haircut; these aren't very expensive so you can always change it later.

Flirt up Your Life

There are three expressions used for flirting. These include flirt, manly arm pump, and the sexy hero pose. Flirting is a
good way to kick off the courtship, but to appear really impressive you will also have to present the person with a gift.
Gifts include roses, boxes of chocolates, perfume, and jewels and they can be found at most item vendors. Surprisingly,
the type of gift a person receives has no effect on their reaction. Therefore, buying expensive gifts is a waste of money.
The only rule regarding gifts is that characters do not react kindly to receiving the same gift more than once in a short
period of time.

As a character becomes enamored with you, a heart will appear above their heads. It will get larger the more attractive
they find you. Finally when the character falls in love, the heart will begin blinking. Speaking to them at this point will
often result in them asking to be given a ring. You now have a limited amount of time to present them with an
engagement ring. These can be bought at your local item vendor. Note: Don't bother with the fake wedding ring, it
doesn't fool anyone. Of course before a hero can settle down, he's going to need somewhere to live. See the property
section below for tips on owning a building.

When a woman accepts your proposal a cut scene plays detailing the hero's glorious wedding day. When a man accepts
a proposal it simply cuts to the two of you inside your house. A spouse is indicated with a large ring icon that floats over
their head in place of the heart.

Doing the Nasty

After you have obtained a wife/husband you are able to "go to bed" with them. Ask your spouse to follow you into the
house and position them next to the bed. Next, engage in rigorous flirting, talking, and gift giving. This takes a rather
long time so do not be discouraged if they do not seem receptive to your advances. When the spouse is ready to hit the
sheets he/she will give off a green glow and say something to the effect of "I'm going to bed, would you like to join me?"
If you accept, the screen will darken and the sounds of glorious lovemaking echo through the house as you storm the
castle on your valiant steed.

After the marriage it pays off to be an attentive husband. Keeping your spouse happy will result in numerous gifts when
you visit them in between quests. Gifts are often fairly valuable, on one occasion I received a piece of Bright Plate
Armor, one of the more rare pieces of clothing in the game. If you decide to ignore your spouse, or flirt with other people
after marriage your spouse will quickly become angry, and may even head down to the local pub to engage in some
drunken slander involving the hero. It should also be noted that murdering your spouse is one of the most evil actions
that can be taken in the game.

Good Walkthrough
Our hero awakens from his day dreams on the front steps of his house. His father instructs him that its his sister's
birthday. He wants to hear reports about his son's good behavior and he will reward you with money to buy a present.
Your father will appear as the primary objective marker on your map. There are also smaller green dots on your map
which act as quest markers.

Head down the hill into the center of the town and speak to the trader. He's the guy with the handle bar mustache calling
out for business. Also notice that he has a green aura about him, indicating that he is willing to trade or has information
about a quest. The trader states that he has a box of sweets that would make a lovely present for your sister but that it
costs three gold pieces.

Good Deeds
The first good deed can be found directly northeast of the trader. A woman will be standing in front of her house
complaining about her good for nothing husband. Her husband can be found behind the house next door to where you
live flirting with a girl. If you speak to the man first, do not accept his bribe to keep quiet, that will only earn you evil
points. Instead speak to the woman in front of the house and tell her about her cheating husband.

For your next good deed take a right after walking past the pub and the trader. As you walk down the path you will run
into a man who asks you to watch his stock while he answers the call of nature. Don't listen to the little brat telling you
break the barrels, you wouldn't want to tarnish that halo.
Leave the warehouses and take a right at the end of the path. As you wind upwards you will find a bully tormenting a
small child. Lock onto the bully with the L trigger and pop him a few in the chin. The child will thank you and hand you
his sister's teddy bear. Return to the warehouses and talk to the small girl. You return her teddy bear and complete your
third and final good deed. Actually, following these steps should give you 4 points towards being a goody two shoes.

Return to your father and he will reward you with gold pieces. The primary objective marker on the map will switch to the
trader. Speak to him to buy the sweets. Then follow the map north to give your sister the present. She will want to return
home, but just as you leave the forest a cut scene will start. Bandits have attacked the town, killing your father and
taking your mother and sister.

When the scene ends, run up the path to the covered bridge and into town. Just as a bandit is about to make short work
of you, Maze steps in and saves your butt. It turns out he is head of the hero's guild and he teleports you to safety.
The Guild
You find yourself in the map room of the hero's guild. Run up the curved stairs to your right to enter the bedrooms. Take
an immediate right to find a room filled with bookshelves and beds. Search the shelves on the south side of the room to
find your first tattoo. Do the same in the library next to the map room to gain a number of interesting books. Later in the
game stealing will earn you some points towards evil, but right now it doesn't count, so steal away!

Training
The first round of training in the melee circle involves punching the training dummy 7 times. The guild master will then
reward you with a stick. Equip the stick and hit the dummy another 7 times to destroy it. This is your first encounter with
experience, walk over the shiny orb to obtain it or hold the Absorb Button to suck it towards you. Quest complete!

20 gold
30 renown

Beetle Bashing
After completing training the guild bell rings, indicating a disturbance. You are sent to the guild woods to take care of a
beetle infestation. Lock onto the beetles and bash away. It should only take one hit with the stick to kill each bug. A
heroes work indeed.

Rewards:
20 gold
30 Renown
10 experience

Training
You now have the option to advance to the teenage years. Speak to the Guild Master and enjoy the cut scene
describing the next few years of training. When it ends you will have grown considerably. It is time to meet with the Guild
Master again to continue training. Race whisper to the melee combat ring by running outside and across the river. When
you arrive the Guild Master will hand you an Iron Long sword to replace your trusty, but weak, stick.
Sword Training
Training continues in the melee ring with Whisper. In the first round, attack her until the Guild Master stops you.
Continue training by learning to block. Let Whisper attack while holding Block and you will advance to a short sparring
match with her. Whisper is easily beaten by tapping Attack and advancing on her. Practice dodging her attacks and
switching views when she flips over your head.

Bow Training
The sparring match is followed by archery training. The Guild Master gives you a Yew Bow. Practice getting the hang of
the contorls and then fire shots at the three targets, afterwards the guild master will test your accuracy with moving
practice dummies. The one in front is worth one point. The middle one is worth 3, and the back one is worth nine points.
Aim to the right of the range where you can easily wait for all three targets to pass by without changing your aim.

Will Training
Head over to the waterfalls by the demon door to practice Will powers. At first a lightening attack is available by pressing
the Attack button while holding down the Will Power button. Cycle through the training dummies by pressing the Lock
On Button and zap them as they turn around from right to left.

Training is now complete and the Guild Master will ask you if you wish to continue into adulthood or play with Whisper.
Choose to play with whisper for some extra experience. Meet her in the woods where the beetle quest took place. The
two heroes will spot some bandits across the lake. Take them out with the bow or by zapping them with some magic.

Side Quest: Guild Tests

This is also a good time to complete the guild training tests. Walk up the winding stairs from the map room. At the top of
the steps take a right into a small bedroom with many bookshelves. Search a bookshelf on the right to find a Kryndon
Tattoo.

Pie Quest
When you are first introduced to the guild there are a few side quests you can partake in. In the servants quarters talk to
the woman who is baking. She will ask you to find 4 apples. Apples can be found scattered on the ground near the
melee training ring. Return the apples to her for the reward of a blueberry pie.

Runner Quest
Talk to the apprentice with the green aura near the cemetery. He will claim that he is the fastest runner in the guild and
challenge you to run to the demon door and back to him in 50 seconds. Hold the Run Button before the time starts to
make sure you start running. The demon door is over a stone pathway to the right of the melee ring. Winning this race is
possible but you must not trip up or get caught on the stone pathway for too long. You will receive some money for
completing the task

Bow: After you receive your archery training you can return to the range to take the skill test. I recommend zooming all
the way in and aiming in the right corner of the range. Here you can keep your aiming reticule stationary and wait for the
targets to come to you! Receive an A+ and you will get a Yew Crossbow from the Guildmaster.

Sword: In the melee circle you can challenge whisper again for a grade. Pummel her without taking more than a couple
hits to receive an A+ and receive the Iron Katana.

Will: Go back to the falls to take the Will test. Simply face the training dummies and blast them with lightning when they
spin around. Hold down the Lock On Button and you'll automatically switch to the next available target. Don't worry
about missing, just blast away. You will receive a will potion and a resurrection phialfor receiving an A+.
It is now time to head to the map room to speak with the guild master and continue on to adulthood. Before you
complete your training, you must head to the guild woods and defeat Maze in a mock duel. It involves applying the three
combat skills learned during training and using them against him. Remember to lock on. After Maze praises your abilities
head back to the hero's guild for the graduation ceremony. Afterwards the guild master will teach you about leveling up.
See the leveling up section of the guide for help with this. The Guild Master gives you a pack of supplies including:

Rewards:
2 Resurrection Phials
A Lamp
2 Health Potions
A Will Potion
An Apple Pie
611 Experience

Your guild training is complete and you are now ready to step out into the real world. Prepare youself for some quests of
a more important nature.

Good Walkthrough Part 2

Wasp Quest
You find yourself in the map room of the guild. The Guild Master will tell you to check the map for your first real quest
card. Take the quest and follow the objective marker on the map to Lookout Point directly outside of the guild. Once
outside a man will lead you to the picnic area where people are being attacked by pesky wasps. Run in with your sward
and kill the bugs. One his is enough to get rid of them. Just as you leave, a wasp queen will appear and spawn more of
the buggers. Clear them with your sword and then attack the queen with the bow or lightning magic. Eventually she will
fall to the ground where you can turn her into mince meat.
Reward:

 Trophy: Wasp Queen's Head

 Guild Reward: 500 Gold
 Renown Reward: 200
 Extra Renown 76
 Experience 890

Fisher's Creek Quest

From the picnic area return to the greatwood entrance and look on your map for the entrance to Fisher's Creek. Here
you must save a fisherman from a some wasps. Knock down these pesky critters and the fisherman will thank you with a
fishing rod. You can now fish in any body of water.

Fishing
When you approach a body of water the guild symbol that resides on the down button of your quick use menu will turn
into a hook symbol. Press down when this appears to initiate the fishing sequence. Once there is a bite on the line, there
is a fish icon that appears on a bar in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Reel the fish in, except for when the fish
is pulling and the controller is vibrating.

When there is a ripple effect in the water, chances are you'll pull up something interesting. Walk around the back of the
cabin to find a chest containing leather gauntlets. There are also a few places with ripples to fish around the cabin. On
the side of the cabin you can catch 100 gold, a silver key, a moonfish, and a working moustache.Fish in the spot
next to the dock to catch the Golden Fish Trophy and complete the fishing quest.

Head back to the guild and on the way, next to a statue at the top of the hill, you can interact with a bully and a beggar.
Speak to the bully and he will ask you to join him. Say no. Then speak to the beggar, he will ask you to get rid of the
bully any way you can. My method of choice was to fart on the bully. He will exclaim how disgusting you are and run off.
The beggar thanks you and runs off. Perhaps you will meet again?

On the other side of the statue, notice some brambles that glow when you approach them. These can be decimated with
your sword and will reveal a path to a silver key.
This is also a good time to talk to the trader in front of the Hero's Guild and purchase a title that will earn you more
respect than "chicken chaser". Be careful not to choose a title with evil connotations, as you have chosen the path of
good. Maze is now waiting for you outside the Bowerstone Tavern so follow your map north of lookout point to enter
your first large town. Head into the clothing store directly to your left when you enter town. Walk up to the second floor
and out onto the balcony to find a silver key.

Head over to the pub to meet up with Maze. He speaks of dark forces gathering and of the bandits that raided your
home town as a child. It turns out there is a rumor your sister is alive. Head back to the Guild to receive this quest card
but first spend some time in…

Bowerstone
For now you are only allowed to enter lower Bowerstone which is the poor section of town. There is a weapon shop, a
barber, and of course the watering hole. In the pub you can purchase various items from the bartender including beer
and cider crates. At the pub there is also some hired muscle and a man ready to play a game of pairs sitting at a table.

Lugging cider crates around the country side and looking for a buyer at a higher price than you paid is an easy but slow
way to make a profit.

In the northwestern section of town there is a marital house for sale. You can improve the value of this home for 500,
700, and then 1400 dollars. Improving a house and then selling it is a great way to make a quick profit.

Fight Club
In the southwest of town you can enter Bowerstone Quay. There is a fighting ring here, but for what purpose? Hang
around this ring at midnight and the fist fighters club will show up. Speak to the tattooed man with the spiky hair to join
the club for 50 bucks. You enter the ring unarmed and without protective gear. You will face 3 chumps before the head
of the gang fights you himself. Remember to roll and use the flourish move. In fact, once you activate flourish you can
wait for the challengers to come to you and jump kick them over and over. When you win you will receive a piece of
paper saying Fight Level 1 Passed which will get you into other fight clubs.
Card Game Pairs
Pairs is exactly like a game you may have played as a child called Memory. The game is played by turning over cards
two at a time and trying to match them. The time limit is 40 seconds. Beating the game will double your bet, and beating
the game with time under 35 seconds and you will be rewarded with a Briar Rose Hero Doll.

Hero Doll Quest

As soon as you leave the bar with the doll a child will approach you and tell you about his teach who has a really rare
doll. He also tells you that there are six dolls in all and that you should see the teacher if you collect them all.

Check out Bowerstone Quay in the southern part of town. On the docks you will find a man who brags about his
daughter. He wants to set you up with her, but she only likes certain types of haircuts. He gives you the pudding basin
hair cut card. If you get this haircut he will then tell you that she only likes men with beards, and hand you a beard card.
Return to the barber and get hairy. When you return to the bald man he will laugh at you, and say that he never had a
daughter and run off. What a jerk. To partially make up for the embarrassment you alsreceive a golden harvest tattoo
and some renown.

Orchard Farm Quest

Boasts:
No protection: Wager 80, Reward 160
Without a Scratch: Wager 100, Reward 400
Fist Fighter: Wager 100, Reward 300
No Healing: Wager 80, Reward 160

Protect Bandits: Wager 100 Reward 275

Return to the heroes' guild and check that map room for the Orchard Farm quest. Choose to protect Orchard farm from
the bandit assault. You can also use this quest to try out a boast. If you select to take quest and boast you will be
transported to the podium in front of lookout point. There are the usual boasts along with Protect Property and Protect
Guards. You can select multiple boasts if you feel up to it.

On the way to Orchard Farm you run into Whisper who hints that she might take sides against you in the quest. You will
also get a message about combat multipliers. See the section on combat for more info on this area of combat. On your
way to Greatwood lake you will enter a map called Greatwood entrance and face some wasps. After killing them go to
the southeast corner of the map screen to find:

 3 health potions
 Will master's elixir
 Will potion

At the entrance to Greatwood Lake take an immediate right and walk up an incline to find another Silver Key. There is
also a silver chest after the bridge which requires 5 silver keys and contains an Elixir of Life.
The farm owner asks you to protect some stones he's found. He tells you that some guards will be helping you to protect
the warehouses and scampers off as the bandits approach. There are three waves of three bandits. The bandits will
head directly to the warehouse to steal the boxes of stones, so don't let them by. If a bandit happens to grab a box he
can be cut down, and one of the guards will return the box to its rightful place. Try zapping them with lightning to slow
them down and be sure to employ your flourish technique.

After the farmer thanks you, Whisper will appear and challenge you to another duel. Info comes up about the flourish
technique. See the combat section for more info on flourish. Whisper is easily defeated with a few flourish moves. She
will still flip over your head. Simply turn around and tap the Lock On Button to face her again. Defeating her will end the
quest and reward you with:

Reward:

 Whisper's Brooch
 750 Gold
 400 Renown
 2655 Experience

After the quest check behind the warehouse you were protecting to find a chest with a Jet crystal. This is a rather
expensive item and will come in handy as a gift later. In front of the farmhouse you can find a small pond with a ripple,
fish in this puddle to get an elixir of life. In the southern section of the apple orchard there is a dock with a fishing spot
that yields a Coron Visor Tattoo. You can also head down to the water past the apple orchards to fish off the end of the
dock to find another silver key.

Head East towards the lake and just before entering the apple orchard and look to your left to find a chest containing
Treasure Clue 5. The Guild master will inform you that finding the treasure clues will lead you to an item of great value
hidden in Albion. A short bit later he will also inform you that there is another quest for you back at the guild.

Don't forget to level up and buy some snazzy new equipment with the gold you have earned. Then head to the map
screen to select the trader escort quest.
Isiah the Farmer Ghost Quest
This quest takes place later in the game after you complete the Orchard Farm quest. Return to the farm and speak to
Isiah the farmer and he will complain that the ghost of his mother haunts the area behind his house. Agree to help the
man and walk around the back of the house to meet the ghost of his mother. She informs you that she was murdered by
a bandit at Greatwood lake as she was on her way to give her son an anniversary present. You must now head to
Greatwood lake and retrieve the present so that she can rest peacefully.

Head to the section of Greatwood lake where the silver chest is and the ghost will appear and direct you to the bandit.
Kill him and you will get the Dead Lady's Heirloom. Return to Orchard farm and give the farmer the heirloom for some
renown, gold, and good points. Return to the grave and the ghost will thank you and disappear. You can also use the
spade to dig in her grave and receive an upper dress.

Trader Escort Quest

Boasts:
No protection
Without a Scratch
Protect Traders

Leave the Guild and head through the Greatwood lake region again. Leveling up is fun! On the path south you will
encounter a bandit toll. You can either hand over 400 gold or refuse. Don't give them the satisfaction, refuse and take
them down. Head north to their encampment and flush out the lot of them.

By the fire you will find a chest with a flame augmentation that can be applied to a weapon to give it the powers of fire.
Remember, augmentations are permanent and cannot be removed. There is also a chest with 500 gold. Head to west
from the encampment to find a small filled with barrels and another chest which yields a steel pick hammer. The
barrels are filled with various helpful items.
Head on to the Greatwood Cullis Gate area where you will hit two forks in the road. the first one to your left will lead to
the Cullis Gate where you can teleport anywhere you have been previously. There are bandits hanging around the gate
so prepare for a short fight. Further on you can continue towards the escort quest or take a right to the Rose Cottage.

Here you will find a door that will only open to someone who truly loves him. The answer to this riddle is in the name of
the area. Present the door a rose and he will open to you. Enter the cave into the secret haven. There is a chest in this
room that contains the Will User's bright suit. This is an excellent outfit for bounding about town and impressing the
ladies. It also has a bit of magic protection.

Before you enter the door to Greatwood Caves fish in the pond to the right of the door to find a moonfish. Continue to
follow the objective arrow on the map and you will enter Greatwood Caves. A number of Hobbes are waiting here to
attack you, there is also a demon door on the left and behind the briars, a Hobbe cave on your right. The demon door
will only open if you have a combat multiplier of 15 or higher when you talk to him. This can be a very difficult task.
There are a couple ways to go about this but the easiest ways involve using the shield spell. Since mana absorbs your
damage, it also means that your multiplier will not go down when you are hit. You can also teleport out of this area and
keep it as your "recall" teleport. Then travel to an area with lots of easy enemies, like the Grey House and simply
teleport back to the door. Remember, teleporting reduces your multiplier. Behind the door is the butterfly house and a
chest containing The Cutlass Bluetane. This powerful sword has a lightning augmentation.

Go straight ahead to enter Darkwood and begin the escort quest. Two traders will greet you and start to follow through
the swamps. A few steps down the road a third wounded trader will ask to join you. When approaching the traders use
the expressions of follow or stop often to keep them out of trouble. Be a good chap and let him tag along. After he joins
up there is a path to the right hiding a chest that contains a Resurrection Phial.
Enter the Darkwood swamp and enjoy the close up of your first Balverine citing. These disgusting creatures are a pain
battle, especially in packs. They leap into the air and drop from the sky like lightning. Make sure to halt the traders
before facing the Balverine, it will make quick work of the puny tag along.

After the Balverine attack there is a demon door to your left which will only open if you face its guardians. The guardians
are four waves of increasingly difficult Hobbes. First, there are two sets of armed white Hobbes, then magic users, and
finally large armored Hobbes which take quiet a bit of damage before they fall for good. Dodge and roll constantly to
avoid their strikes. After beating on his minions the door allows you through where you will find a chest containing Will
User's Dark clothes.

Return to the swamps and walk down another set of stairs. Look to your left at the bottom of the steps to find a chest
containing a Jet. Ahead is some swampland with dangerous plants the release spores. Zap them from afar with lightning
to clear the path and head on to Darkwood Lake.
Stop the traders at the entrance and clear the path before returning for them. Take a left before descending the slope to
find a chest containing leather boots. There are two bandits at the entrance and three waiting as soon as you hit the
watery section of the swamp. Don't let them run past you as they will try their hardest to attack the traders at the top of
the hill. There is a chest containing 250 gold to the right of where the swamp starts. There is also a chest requiring 15
silver keys which contains Arken's Crossbow and a small path blocked by a large boulder. Remember these as they
will be useful later in the game.

In the southwest corner of the swamp there is a large glowing stone with a hole in the top. Shoot at the hole with your
bow to knock out a silver key.

The next area is Darkwood camp where the traders will be healed if they have taken any damage. At the entrance to the
camp there are two chests containing a steel axe and a Resurrection Phial. The weapons trader here also sells a
flame augmentation. There is also a black jack dealer who will be happy to let you bet on a few hands.

Continue on to the temple of Skorn. This is where you would make donations to the dark god in order to increase your
inner evil but you're a good guy, remember? Around the left side of the temple you can find a chest with an assassin
shirt.

Halt the traders at the next area and hack your way to the Ancient Cullis gate. At this point the trader that you decided to
take with you turns into a Balverine and you will have to kill him. This counts as a good deed. Head on to the bridge
where a chest will give you a resurrection Phial. You can fish off the side of the second bridge to find a silver key.
Continue on to Darkwood Weir. Once again, tell the traders to stay put at the beginning of the area to keep them out of
trouble. On the southern path there is another chest. Head up the hill where you will encounter your first Earth Ogre.
This big heap of dirt looks more difficult than he really is. Establish a pattern of rolling towards him while he is vulnerable
and away from him just as he attacks. Rolling provides you with complete immunity from whatever he launches at you.
Ranged attacks are not as effective because of the clumps of earth he will launch from a distance. After defeating him
you are rewarded with a ruby. Head through the cave to enter barrow fields and the quest is complete.

Rewards:

 Trader's Feather Trophy

 2000 Gold
 Renown: 500
 Experience: 1608

Borrow Fields
This area contains a Cullis gate, a number of traders and a few campers. Search the scarecrow by the camp to find a
health potion. There is a place to fish in the north of camp by a second scarecrow that will yield 500 gold. There is
another place to fish just to the south of the bridge leading into camp which will give you a Coron Night Tattoo.

In the southern region of Borrow Fields there is a chest containing a Safire and a demon door that demands you put on
some weight. This is a simple task, go to a town and buy around 20 pies. Stuff your face until you start getting pudgy,
speak to the door and he will open. Inside you will find a chest containing a will master's elixir.

Across from the demon door there is a place to fish for a moonfish.

Grey House
Take a left once you enter barrow fields to enter an area called Grew House. There is a demon door in the northeast
section of this map which will only open to someone who is married to a lady with a title. The clue to this riddle is once
again in the name of the area. Remember Lady Grey from Barrowstone? This will come into play later; also see the
Love and Marriage section of the guide.
Be prepared when you enter the large stone house as zombies will rise from the floor and attack you. They are
numerous but slow moving. This offers an excellent chance to boost your top combat multiplier. The zombies will now
appear in the area outside the house as well. Defeating them opens the cellar door outside. Search the scarecrow
behind the house for a Talin arm tattoo, search the bookshelf on the first floor for a Talin leg tattoo, and open the chest
for a ruby.

Upstairs there is a silver chest requiring 10 keys. Search the surrounding for an Ages of will potion and a normal beard
card. Head into the cellar. The chest yields a will master's elixer and the barrels a couple of health and will potions.
Search the corpse of the young woman for a dusty piece of parchment which informs that this was the house of Lady
Grey, who murdered her older sister to take her place as Mayor of Bowerstone.

Good Walkthrough Part 3

Oakvale
Welcome back to your hometown. After the girl from your childhood recognizes you, speak to Maze about the thief's
quest.

Oakvale has some new areas, including the beach, the memorial gardens and the entrance to the cliff top path which
takes you to the thief's encampment. There is also a house for sale here for 5000 dollars. On the way to the cemetery
there is a mercenary for hire. You can fish off the right side of the dock to find a fake wedding ring.

You can also head over to the location of the warehouse quest when you were a kid to enter the next level of the fight
club. Hang around the fighting circle until midnight at which point the fist fighters will show up. Pay 50 gold to Rendel to
enter this contest. You will face four chumps before Rendel will take you on himself. This contest is barely different from
the first one, hit them until you get flourish, then wait for the fighters to come to you and kick them over. You can also
knock them out of the ring, beat on them until time is almost up and run back into the circle. Winning will give you 100
renown and the fist fighter level 2 pass.
Pirate's Booty Quest
Head down to the beach on east side of town and speak to the ghost of the pirate. He will tell you to dig up his treasure
on the other beach with a spade and give it to his wife. In the abandoned cabin there is a ruby with your name on it.

Head to the other side of the beach and pass the pirate's wife and find a chest containing the assassin boots. Then use
a spade (they can be bought in town) to dig directly to the left of the jetty as you look out to sea.

Return the treasure to her and you will receive some good points. Run to the other beach and the ghost pirate will
recognize your good deed and tell you that the rest of the treasure is located underneath the axe of a statue in the
cemetery. Head to the memorial gardens and dig under the right side of the statue of the man to find a silver key, and an
obsidian great axe. Booya! On the way back, just downhill from the cemetery to the left find a chest containing a
resurrection Phial.

Coin Golf This game can be incredibly frustrating, but we've got the winning moves to help you through. There are four
holes with an overall par of 13. If you score an 11 or under you will be rewarded with a Whisper Hero doll.

Here are the best starting shots for each hole. On the first two use a little less then full strength and with some luck you
can get a hole in one on both of them. On the third shot use full strength and use a little more than half strength on the
fourth to put yourself into a decent position.

Hobbe Cave Quest

Head towards Greatwood lake and into Greatwood Gorge or to save time teleport to the Greatwood Cullis gate and go
straight to the Rose Cottage. There you will meet a kind old woman who will ask you to find her grandson. She also
gives you a hexagon key.

Enter the side chamber and free the bandit from the Hobbes then agree to go treasure hunting with him. He won't last
long, but if he makes it to the concentration chamber do not choose to replace the boy with him. This will only reward
you with evil points. Instead Fire off a couple of arrows into the nymph to bring her down. The chamber is then flooded
with Hobbes. Kill them and keep them away from the boy. Escaping the cave is difficult, you must tell the boy to stay put
at the beginning of each section and then venture forth and clear the cave of dangers. The Main hall chests contain: 500
gold, flame augmentation, 500 gold
Return the boy to his grandmother and you will be rewarded with:

Find the Bandit Seeress Quest

Boasts:
Without a Scratch: Wager 500, Reward 3000
Spare Bandits: Wager 400, Reward 1200
Bandit Blood: Wager 200, Reward: 400

From Oakvale walk down to the beach where the pirate's grieving wife was standing and enter the cave. The quest
begins by making you sneak past 3 bandits and enter their camp. Sneak by pushing in the left thumbstick. The number
of people who can see you is marked by the eyeball icon on your mini-map. An easy way to complete this task is to get
seen immediately. Kill the guards and then hide behind the massive rock just before the gates. When the replacement
guards appear, wait for the three of them to walk past you then run to the gate.

You then overhear a couple of bandits discussing how Twinblade will only let thieves in full bandit attire into the camp.
This section is simple, kill all of the bandits and open the chests. If you have chosen the boast where you cannot kill any
bandits a good spell to use is force push. It knocks the bandits out of your path as you pick up each article of clothing.
The chests containing the clothing are marked on the mini-map in case you run by one of them. Make sure you also bust
up barrels on the way through the camp, they yield gold and potions.

At the end of the area check the left side of the map screen for a demon door and a chest containing a resurrection vial.
This door will only open if you dress up in three different types of clothing. The first outfit must be bright plate armor, the
second is Will User's Dark robes and the third is the Bandit Outfit.
Before you enter the next area put on the bandit Outfit as the gate keeper will only let you in with the disguise on.

Bandit Camp This area almost has the feel of a town. There are all manners of shopkeepers and a mercenary for hire
close to the camp fire. You will now need to procure a camp pass in order to enter the Twin Blade's inner sanctum.
There are two ways to accomplish this. Head across the pond in the southern section of this area to the bar. There you
can play a matching game which will win you the pass. The game works like this: In the first round three items are
shown and then covered. When the cover comes off an extra item has been added and you must guess which one.
There are 5 rounds and an extra item is added each time. The easiest way to beat this game is to name each item and
then recite that list when the new item is added. If this is too difficult for you the pass can be bought from a bandit next to
the bar for 1000 dollars. Across the pond there is also a chest containing 500 gold.

TwinBlade's Elite Camp

Upon entering the elite section of the camp walk to the right to a camp fire to open a chest containing a resurrection
Phial. Then double back to the south to encounter a group of assassins, near there camp is a chest containing assassin
clothing. The goal of this area is to get through another gate. There are also two ways to complete this goal; we'll deal
with the good way.

In the southwestern corner of town there are some lovely hostages trapped in a cage. The only key belongs to the guard
patrolling near the cage. Knock him off to get the key and release the ladies. This will cause a diversion and allow you to
enter Twinblade's Tent.
Twinblade
Twinblade looks intimidating but he's really a pushover. Roll out of the way of his attacks, but stay away from the ring of
bandits, they will attack if you get too close. Twinblade has one move where he thrusts downward with both of his blades
and they become stuck in the ground. Take this opportunity to run behind him and do some damage. A good strategy for
staying locked onto him as you roll in circles is to shoot out some blasts of lightening every once in awhile.

He will block frontal assaults, but flourish moves from the side and the back will connect even when his swords are not
wedged in the dirt. After wounding him, your sister appears, it turns out she was the seeress all along. Her story is told
and she leaves Twinblade and the camp. Loot the bandit king's tent for:

 250 Gold
 500 Gold
 A Resurrection Phial
 Numerous potions in barrels

Be sure to check the northern path outside of the ring of thieves to find a chest containing a diamond. Leave the area
without killing Twinblade to receive 120 good points and complete the quest.

Rewards:
Trophy: Bandit Seal
4500 Gold
1000 Renown
16679 Experience

You aren't done yet, return to the matching game and try to beat it under 25 seconds to receive the Twin Blade Hero
Doll.
Good Walkthrough Part 4
Return to the Hero's Guild to meet up with Maze in his tower. He will ask you to do him a personal favor and find his
friend the archeologist in Witchwood. Head to the Cullis gate to warp to this area.

Witchwood and The Archeologist Quest

This area is home to the arena, a legendary sword stuck in a stone, and the temple devoted to good. Directly next to the
Cullis gate there are two sets of brambles that can be torn through to find a Resurrection Phial. Head up the hill to
trigger a cut scene of a rock troll rising out of the ground. Once again, roll towards this menace to take swipes and use
the flourish attack, then roll away from him when he hits the ground. Try not to get too far away as the clumps of dirt he
throws can be devastating. The rule of thumb here is to keep rolling, it keeps you save from every attack the troll has.
After defeating him search the skeleton on the path ahead for a will potion, and ages of will potion, and a book entitled
"The Guild of Zeros". Continue on to Witchwood stones.

After entering this area there is a Demon Door directly to your right. Also on the right, after the Demon door are some
brambles that can be destroyed to reveal a chest containing an Obsidian GreatHammer. There is also a chest in the
very northeast corner of this area that contains Chainmail Gauntlets. Try fishing in the pond across from the demon door
to find a silver key.

In order to open this door you must spell his name on the four stones ahead. Read the stones by pressing A in front of
them and activate each one by hitting it with your weapon. You can try every possible combination, or go to the Temple
of Avo up the road to learn from a man that the door's name is HITS. If you decide to spell the dirty four letter word that
is also made up of these letters a Balverine will drop from the sky and you will have to dispose of him.

Temple of Avo
This area contains the temple of the good side and behind the structure Huw's sword. The men surrounding the sword
will educate you on its history. Only the strongest warrior can pull the sword out of the stone. This means maxed out
strength, the men will comment on which areas you should improve. You are going to need no less than sevens in
health and physique.
Outside of the temple there is a mercenary for hire and a chest containing a resurrection Phial. Inside the temple you
may make donations at the font to be rewarded with good points. Small donations will give you +7 on your good
alignment. If you are short on cash you can make continuous one dollar donations.

Return to the Demon Door and enter the cavern to find the archeologist. He's none too pleased to see you, but you are
rewarded with:

Reward:
1200 Gold
113 Renown
1920 Experience

The Cavern contains a bookshelf with a howl tattoo. A few books and a chest containing Chainmail Leggings and a
chest containing a Resurrection Phial. There is a Silver chest here that will require 15 keys to open. The areas that are
reachable from Witchwood are the Arena and Knotholl Glade, however you will need to return to the guild in order to
access these places so you might as well teleport back to the map room.

White Balverine Quest

Take this quest at the guild and return to Witchwood. The area is now filled with Balverines and Bandits so get ready to
brawl.

Bandit Side Quest

You will come across two guards in the Witchwood Stones area who are tired of their boring patrol. A little ways ahead a
man will beg you to help his wife who is being attacked by Balverines. This is a trap that leads to being attacked by
Bandits. Kill them all and then move along to find the man cowering in the corner. He begs for forgiveness, which you
will grant because you are such a nice guy. The good deed is worth it and he pays you out of thanks. Pass through the
Witchwood Lake area, don't forget to open the chest across from the lake which contains a flame augmentation. You
also receive for the side quest:

 1400 Gold
 60 Good

The Quest really starts when you enter the area just outside of Knothold Glade Gates. There are a group of villagers
who are locked out of the town. Four Balverines will attack one at a time. Make quick work of them and the village gates
will be open. The Chief informs you that there is a white Balverine leading the attacks. The critter makes an appearance
and fights you for a bit before running off. The chief tells you to visit a woman on top of the hill who used to be married to
a hero who was known for slaying the creatures.
Head uphill until you reach a dead end in town and the Balverine will attack once again. Hit it 7 times to scare it off into
the woods. The wife of the hunter appears and informs you that the Balverine is in face her husband who was bitten
when he was attacking the Balverines. She hands you a silver augmentation, which is the best way to inflict damage on
the animals. Apply this to your weapon of choice and follow the quest marker on your map to face the beast again. You
will hit him just 5 times before it runs off and the chief offers you a reward to chase it down to Witchwood Lake.

Head to the lake where you will face the white Balverine for the final time. Everytime the Balverine howls it will call more
of its pack. Stay focused on the white one and after he is killed he will have had time to summon about 6 other
Balverines. A good way to focus on the leader is to have a spell equipped like enflame that pushes the creatures back.

Return to town and present the chief with the head of the Balverine. He decides to sponser you for the arena. He also
states that the guild has sent along a letter and a book from your sister.

Rewards:
6200 Gold
800 Renown
2350 Experience

Knothole Glade
This is a small woodsy town. Search upstairs in the uphill section of town to find a chest containing plate boots. This is
one of the easiest towns to gain renown in with trophies. Wait until nightfall when everyone gathers in the large pub,
then round up stragglers by telling them to follow you there. Show off the Balverine head for an easy 23/23 and some
nice renown. There is a marital house for sale here in the upper village for 9000 dollars.

Pub Game Card Sorting

In the pub you can play card sorting. Easily the most frustrating pug game, this can only be mastered by playing it over
and over again. If you are able to tough it out and finish in less than 25 seconds you will be rewarded with a Scarlet
Robe Hero Doll.

The fighting ring is in the center of town, look here at midnight for part Four of the fist fighter's gang quest. The leader of
this gang is the chief of Knothole Glade. You will face 6 rounds before fighting the chief of the clan. He takes a huge
amount of damage before going down, over 20 flourish attacks. Howver, when you win you complete the fist fighting
quest and are given the fist fighters trophy as a reward.

Just outside the gates there is a Demon Door that will only open if you can hurt it by firing off an arrow. This requires a
powerful box. I used the ebony longbow to pierce his face. Enter the door to find the Hidden Copse where there is a
chest containing an elixir of life.

The Arena Quest

Boasts
No Protection: Wager 500, Reward: 4000
Without a Scratch: Wager 400, Reward: 1000
Clean Sweep: Wager 1000, Reward: 2000
Merciful Hero: Wager 1000, Reward: 2000

Note: This is the place to buy your bright plate armor. You will not have access to the arena after the quest ends so
make sure you have plenty of cash when the quest begins. The bright plate armor is needed for one of the disguises
that opens the demon door in Twin Blade's camp.
Head to the arena and speak to the guard on the left to enter. You will meet some of the other competitors inside the
waiting area where you should stock up on health potions before the fight. (Especially if you plan on boasting) The
shopkeeper in the Arena is also the only shop keeper that sells a full set of Bright Plate armor. You will not have the
opportunity to buy from him after this quest so make sure you enter the arena quest with at least 27000 gold. The Bright
Plate armor is needed to open the Demon Door in Twin Blade's camp. The Arena battle works like this: You will receive
a cash prize for completing each round. This prize is multiplied if you decide to enter the next round without going back
into the waiting area to stock up on supplies. Therefore, the biggest prize is given to those who are tough enough to
survive all rounds without stopping or dying.

In the four corners of the arena there are hazards that will be activated when people or creatures approach them. Look
out for these as they can inflict some damage, you can also use them to your advantage by hitting enemies into them.
There is an applause meter in the upper right hand corner of the screen that displays how much the crowd enjoys your
performance. The audience will throw gifts like roses if they are entertained, these can also be picked up in between
battles.

A good overall arena strategy is to have some type of magic that does good area damage. Force push is very helpful
against the large groups of enemies you will face when they get the upper hand and surround you. Enflame, an
incredibly powerful spell will bring the large groups of enemies to their knees in no time.

The first round consists of the wasp Horde. There are 4 waves of wasps and none of them are very difficult. Your reward
is 100 gold.

In the second round you will face 3 waves of increasingly tougher Hobbes. Make sure you roll over to the magic users
first and take them out of the equation. This makes this round almost as easy as the first.

Before round three Whisper is added to the arena to help you do battle. She is helpful, at least for a little while. The next
three waves of enemies are Balverines. The second and third round includes white Balverines which can be very
detrimental to your health.

Round five is four waves of increasingly difficult thieves. These enemies are difficult for their speed, having powerful
spells is almost a must in this section if you are to make it through without stopping for equipment.

After the thieves you will face two earth trolls and then two rock trolls. These enemies are easily taken out using the
technique of rolling away from them when they stomp. Slow time is also an incredibly powerful spell against any troll.
After they are defeated you will face a special end boss: The Archanox. This large scorpion has three different attacks. A
laser that charges up from the front, a spin swipe, and a dirt dive that summons smaller scorpions. Attack this boss while
the laser charger and then roll out of its way. Use the roll to dodge the swipes as well. The smaller scorpions are easily
taken out with one hit from a powerful weapon.

After defeating the bugger, you will have to face Whisper. She has improved her fighting skills. After she flips
backwards, look out for her dash attack. The rule of thumb is to stay moving. If you don't have any magic, just roll in on
her and swipe away after she finishes her dash. Spare Whisper and you will be given good points for your merciful act.

Upon exiting the Arena a bandit type will come up to you and tell you that your sister wants to meet you at the Grey
house. Teleport to Barrow fields and meet your sister at the Grey House. She will inform you that it was jack of blades
who burned down your village many years ago. He has also imprisoned your mother. The archeologist is the only one
that can help. After your sister leaves, head down to the water near the demon door to fish out a silver key if you
haven't already done so.

Marry Lady Grey

It was also mentioned at the end of the arena quest that Lady Grey would like to meet you. Head to Bowerstone where
you are now allowed into Bowerstone North, the swanky rich section of town. Teleport to Bowerstone South and head
up the steps. At this point the guard will recognize you and let you enter. Speak to Lady Grey in the northeastern section
of town and she will begin to court you. The first thing she asks for is a gift. You can't give her just anything, walk over to
the shopkeeper located in between the two pathways of upper Bowerstone and buy a black rose. Return to Lady Grey
and present her with the rose.
She will praise the romantic notion and mention that she will only marry a man who owns a house. If you have not
invested in property at this point, well get a move on! The closest house for sale is in lower Bowerstone by the school
house. If you already have a house, simply speak to her again and she will ask you to find her long lost necklace. This
involves talking to men around town to collect gossip. First talk to the man standing by the exit to Lower Bowerstone.
Then head to the house to your right if you are facing the shop, the man is standing near the entrance. The next man is
located inside the shop at the counter. The fourth man is upstairs in the house directly next to the entrance to
Bowerstone Jail. It turns out the necklace belonged to Lady Grey's sister, who she murdered. You must travel to
Oakvale to return the necklace to her.

Go to Oakvale and enter the memorial gardens. After entering the garden you will see two men whispering to your left.
Walk past them and take a left to the area on the other side of the wall from them. Hold down the left thumbstick to
sneak up to the wall and they will begin to discuss where they have hidden the necklace. Do not let go of the sneak
button or they will become nervous about a noise and stop talking. You learn from the thieves that the necklace is
hidden between the two boats on the shore.

Dig up the necklace and teleport back to Bowerstone North. Lady Grey will thank you, but wants you to leap one more
hurdle. You will now have to fight Thunder in the Bowerstone jail region.

In the barrels in this area you can find a Sheriff Moustache, Ages of will potion, and a health potion. Look along the
right side of the path after crossing the bridge to find a piercing augmentation, then open the chest next to the boulder
to the right of the entrance to Windmill Hill to find an ebony longbow.

Windmill Hill
Search the scarecrow to your left after entering Windmill Hill to find a trader style moustache. There is a fishing spot
across from the scarecrow that will yield a wedding ring. Head up the hill where you will face four undead. In the garden
by the second scarecrow you will find a ring of red flowers. Dig in the middle of the ring to find a silver key.

Walk up the steps on the outside of the windmill to find a chest containing a Resurrection Phial. Inside the Windmill there
are barrels that can be broken and yield Ages of might potion, a will potion, red meat, and 100 gold. Behind the
windmill, dig in the circle of red roses with the spade to find a silver key. Continue around the back of the Windmill to
open a chest that will give you Treasure clue 6.
Continue through Gibbet woods and on to Headsman's Hill where Thunder and a crowd of onlookers are waiting for you.
Thunder has 2 main attacks: a jumping slash and his lightning spell. Roll under the slash and roll away from him when
the lightning starts. You can basically button mash the Attack Button to take him out. After half of his life is drained he
will say that if he cannot have her, no one can and the two of you topple over the cliff edge. When you land, the fight
continues in the same manner. Take off 75% of his life and he runs off into a cave. In this area there is a fishing spot
that yields another silver key, and a demon door that will only open to someone who has defeated another hero in
battle.

Enter HeadsMan's Cave and fight Thunder for the final time. You will receive his helmet as a reward. There is also a
silver chest in the cave that will open for 15 silver keys and yields a Mana Aumentation. Going through the demon door
takes you back to Gibbet's Woods. You can travel back to Bowerstone and you will have the option to marry Lady Grey
the next time you talk to you. The best part of marrying Lady Grey is the Dowry of 15000 gold that comes with the
wedding. You also gain access to Bowerstone Manor. There is a key hidden underneath Lady Grey's bed, but finding it
will reward you with 5 evil points. There is also a silver chest in her chambers that you will need 15 keys to open. Inside
is The Katana Hiryu. Now that you are married, you can return to the Grey House and the demon door will open
revealing a chest containing Ronok the Axe. This is a brutal weapon with both silver and piercing augmentations.

The Lost Trader Quest

This is an incredibly short quest. Teleport to Oakvale and head to the Cliffside path. At the beginning of the path you will
find a trader who complains about his lost brother. You must travel along the abandoned road, killing thieves on the way.
At the other end of the road you find his brother and then escort him back to the other end of the map to reunite him with
his brother. The only difficult part of this quest is making sure that the bandits do not kill the lost traveler. They don't pose
much of a threat, but if you are nervous about failing the quest you can always tell the follower to wait in a safe place
while you clear out the surroundings.

Take your boasts and teleport to Knothole Glades to begin the quest. When you get there a small cinema starts where
you are instructed by one of the bandits to inform the village chief that if he doesn't return one of their captured men they
will burn the village. Inside the village you can ask guards to help you put down the siege. For boasting purposes I
skipped over this and went straight to the village gate to slaughter some bandits. The siege leader waits in the back of
the pack of men, a good spell to use here is slow down time. That way you can focus on killing the leader and the most
dangerous men without worrying about being attacked.

Rewards:

 Guild Reward: 5000 Gold

 Renown: 450
 Experience: 820

Once you leave Knothole Glade the guild master will inform you that Twinblade has hired a band of assassins to kill you.
The archery contest in Knothole Glade will also become available. Assassins will now randomly attack you in different
areas of the world. Kill them to receive a doll of you.
Archery Contest

The rules for the contest are the same for archery training in the beginning of the game. You have 60 seconds to hit as
many targets as you can. Targets are worth more points if they are moving or farther away. Magic use and leaving the
circle are both grounds for disqualification. See the screenshot for the best place to keep your aim locked. In this arrow
you can let the high scoring moving targets come to you.

The first high score prize is the Treasure Clue 4, the best prize however is the silver arrow trophy which you can show
off for some renown.

Good Walkthrough Part 5

Find the Archeologist
Boasts:
No Protection
Without A Scratch
Fist Fighter

Travel to Bowerstone North and enter the Bowerstone jail area. If you haven't completed the Lady Grey marriage quest,
see that section of the guide for special items in this area. You will face some new enemies including conjurers who will
shoot fire balls at you. The other creatures will spawn and launch quick attacks with their double edged blades. In the
Windmill area you must kill the magic user at the top of the hill before the force field drops and you can advance.

In the next area you will immediately have to fight a rock troll. Use the same roll in and roll out technique you have used
on the other trolls. Also, slow time is an invaluable spell against these creatures. You can pull off a string of flourishes
against the troll and defeat him in 3 casts of this spell.

Continue down the path to help the guards against the minions. They will follow you into the next area which is timed.
You have four minutes and thirty seconds to make it down the path and destroy all of the enemies on the dock.
Numerous minions will spawn on the way down and you will often find yourself surrounded. Powerful magic spells is the
way to beat this section easily.

Rewards:

 Minion's Helmet
 Guild Reward: 7000 Gold
 Renown: 500
 Experience: 27160

The archeologist tips you off to a secret passage into the prison and takes his leave. Open the chest on the left side of
the docks to find a silver augmentation. Walk back up the path, through Gibbet Woods and go to Headsman's Hill.
Walk around the rocks to the west of the area there to find a chest with a flame augmentation. Continue on to Lychfield
Graveyard.

The Graveyard Path

Upon entering the graveyard you will find a demon door that only opens for a man named Nostro the guardian. Downhill
from the door there is a Cullis gate and couple of graveyard visitors who inform you that the gate is locked and the
graveyard keeper refuses to open it. Walk into the Gravekeeper's yard across from the Cullis gate and you will overhear
his plot to steal some valuables he has stolen from the crypt. Open the chest outside of his house to find a spade.
Speak to the grave keeper and he will let you into the graveyard.

Head to Nostro's Crypt on the far west side of the graveyard. The skeleton instructs you to find his helmet, his sword, his
shield, and his armor. He also gives you clues as to where to find the items if you speak to him again. The graveyard is
teeming with the undead. It may seem like they continuously spawn, but they disappear after you speak with Nostro.
One of the larger undead will appear each time you find one of Nostro's belongings, so be prepared.

When walking out of the crypt, slash the brambles to your right to find a chest containing a fishing rod. Walk down the
hill from Nostro's crypt and make a sharp left. In front of another crypt is a sign indicating that it is the tomb of Lady
Fylorn. Search inside her grave to find Nostro's Armour. Across from this crypt is a fishing spot with some glowing
ripples in the water. Fish here to catch Nostro's shield. Continue to the middle of the graveyard and search the horned
grave to find Nostro's Sword. Next to this area is a fishing spot where you can real in another silver key. Nostro's
Helmet is in the grave keeper's house next to the fire. There is also a buzz cut haircut in his bookshelf and an ages of
skill potion in his bureau. Now that you have all of the pieces return to Nostro's crypt and he will open the demon door
for you.

Dig in the graves of the cemetery to find:

 James Sutter: 250 gold

 Marry Sutter: Silver key
Crypt of Scoran Daith: Silver Key
 Kenneth Nin: Karlan Wings Tattoo
 Sarah Miller: Howl Tattoo
Blimey Its darker than I thought: Health Potion
 James Corun: 1,000 Gold

Head through the Demon Door to an area that is packed with the undead. Fighting these hoards can be handy for
collecting health potions and experience. Make a right after you cross the stone bridge to find a chest containing a
resurrection phial. Follow the path up the steps and take out the next couple of zombies. To the left of the stone door
depicting men with swords there is a chest containing a silver augmentation.

Circle of the Dead

As you enter this area, take a left to find a silver chest requiring 10 keys. It contains a piercing augmentation. When
you step into the glowing area in the middle of the circle you will trigger lesser zombies to appear. Eight of them must be
killed in order advance to the next round where 3 greater zombies will appear. Kill these dead fools to complete the
quest and open the door to the prison.

Rewards:

 Trophy: Undead Hand

 Guild Reward: 1500 Gold
Rescue Scarlet Robe Quest
Walk into the crypt to enter the underground tunnel. Pass through the first area and into a series of tunnels that are
infested with the undead. You will also run across some of the exploding spore plants, and many of the barrels here are
explosive. Hitting things from afar with your bow is a safe bet. In the northern dead end of the tunnels there is also a
nymph who guards a chest containing a resurrection phial. Return to the other passage to pop out above ground.

Take the left door out of the spherical stone building and head up a hill to open a chest containing a resurrection phial.
Loop around back down to the water and walk up the hill in the middle of the pond to find a chest containing a
Sharpening augmentation. When you reach the top of the hill a slew of zombies will appear below you and must be
taken out. Continue to the objective and walk through the door next to the entrance to the next area to find a chest with
yet another resurrection phial. When you try to advance to the next area the door will become blocked and 5 greater
zombies will appear and try to switch you over to the dead persuasion.

This door leads to the interior of the prison where you will face a foe much more difficult than the undead. This area is
teaming with evil guards who have a vicious one-two combo that can knock you over. The dead end path to the left
leads to two guards and a chest containing a resurrection phial. The northern path leads to a large room with many
guards, in the very eastern section of the room is a chest with an Obsidian Katana. In the northwestern corner of the
room there is a small passage with a chest containing a dark leather chest. There are many barrels in this room with all
sorts of goodies, so don't forget to smash them all.

Head into the torture room where you will find your mother. Bust her out of the cell and head back the way you came.
Fend off the guards and when you reach the middle of the passage a cut scene will start. Jack of blades appears and
reveals that he has been watching you the entire time. Jack has you and your mother surrounded by his minions and
you are thrown in jail.
Prison
Jack has stripped you of belongings and your will powers and thrown you in a cell. There's nothing you can do but wait
for your neighbor to strike up a conversation. He tells you of the prisoner's race that takes place every year. The winner
gets a trip to the warden's office.

Soon after you are removed from the cell and brought up to the yard to race the other inmates. The guard's will point you
in the correct direction, simply follow their lead. After the race is won you will be brought to the warden's office to listen to
his poetry. There are two meters on the side of the screen. One indicates how much noise you re making, if you max out
this meter you will be sent back to the start. The other measures how long you have to complete the task, or how long
the poem will last.

While he is reading you must sneak across the room and read the note on the wall to reveal the code of 1483. Also,
search the bookshelf to find the summarion tattoo. Walk back to the glowing books on the counter. There are three
books, choose the one and it will not contain what you need, and you are thrown back in jail for a year. You must win the
race again, hear the warden's poetry, and this time you find the key.

Once you have the key you are returned to your cell. Open the door and walk to the cell facing yours to break a barrel
and find a wooden stick. Looks like things have come full circle weapon wise but its better than nothing. Open the cells
of the other prisoners and they will join you. Break the barrel in the other cell to find some red meat. Head outside to the
courtyard

You can enter cell block two to find a small moustache. At the end of cell block three there is a chest containing plate
boots. There are also some barrels in the courtyard with some produce. If you run to the torture chamber and speak to
your mother she informs you that you must first get your weapons back. These are located in the prison barracks, you
get there by running up the steps in northeast of the courtyard. Constant rolling is an easy way to avoid the guards
attacks. In the warden's barracks you find chests containing a guard outfit and your missing belongings. Search the
bookshelves for a Harion Shoulder Tattoo and a Harion Arm Tattoo. A guard will enter once you get your equipment
back, but now that you are armed, he poses little threat.
Return to the torture chamber to get your mother and continue through the underground passage. There are a few
guards in this area, keep them away from your mother and dispose of them. In the next area, the Cliffside path, as you
hug the path on the right be prepared to be ambushed by the undead. In the next underground passage you will face
more guards, continue on to the circle of the dead.

Kraken Battle

When you enter the circle of the dead, there will be five tentacles sticking out of the water. Focus on each one
individually until you do enough damage that it disappears back into the center. Rolling around the room and waiting for
a tentacle to crash down behind you works fairly well. Or, if you are a coward, try strafing while firing off arrows. When
the tentacles are all submerged, the boss's head will rise out of the center of the water. When he is in the middle of the
circle and out of range of melee weapons, fire off some arrows into his face. Or better yet, slow time before hand and
you will take off an incredible amount of his life before he goes back under. Watch out for his fire breath, he tilts he head
back slightly before letting that rip.
Exit the circle of death and enjoy a cut scene. Your mother imbues you with the power of your bloodline and the quest
ends.

There are now four more side quests open to you at the guild. Two of these are good and two are evil. Sign up for the
good ones:

Gateway to Hook Coast

This quest begins when you enter the ancient Cullis gate area of Darkwood. You must kill enough zombies to activate
the gate and then you are transported to the icy town of Hook Coast.

There is a marital home here on sale for 25,000 and you can upgrade it for 7000, 9000, and 11,000. In the pub you can
play a game called Shove Ha'penny. This game is like shuffle board with coins, and it works on the same principles as
coin golf. The high possible score in this game is a 40, by getting four ten's. This game is actually very easy, as you can
guage your power based on where the arrow is in relation to the board. The trick it to get the arrow indicating power just
before the line that starts the 2 point section. For scoring over 30 in this game you will receive a Maze Hero Doll. This is
the last hero doll that you need to collect. Head back to Bowerstone and talk to the school teacher

The portal to hook coast is blocked, your mother will ask you to return to Maze's quarters where she has found a book
explaining why. Teleport back to the guild, and when you enter the map room your mother will cry out for help. Head to
Maze's tower and you will see her captured by minions. Before she disappears in a ray of light she reminds you to pick
up the book on the shelf by the fire place.
The book turns out to be in an ancient language and must be brought to the guild master to be deciphered. End of
quest, short and sweet.

Stop Jack of Blades

You can now return to the map room to take your "final" quest card. Accepting this quest will end all other side
quests, but they can be continued during the Lost Chapters.

The guild master instructs you to head back to the Hook Coast. Once you teleport there the quest will begin. Head into
town from the Cullis gate and run towards the blocked portal. On the way you will face three Screamers. While they
have a good number of hit points, these enemies pose little threat. The guild master will unlock the gate where you find
Maze and your sister. It turns out the old wizard has been working for Jack the entire time.
Maze
Maze seems difficult at first, but with a few spells up your sleeve he can be taken out rather quickly. First he will battle
you where you met him and your sister. His most powerful attack is a version of you own enflame spell. He uses this
when you get in too close. Maze will block most normal attacks and only flurries will connect regularly. Maze also uses
the shield spell when you first approach him. This mean that he will be invulnerable to attacks until he takes the spell off.
This leaves you a number of options. When he does not have his shield up a powerful enflame spell will hit him most of
the time and take off large amounts of damage. Force push connects every time, however it does very little damage. A
good strategy is to use these spells to activate your flurry and then connect with that attack.

After about 20% of Maze's life is depleted he will teleport outside the gate. Some screamers will join in the battle. They
are hardly dangerous and can be used to activate a flurry attack. Take away another 20 percent of his health and Maze
will teleport down the steps into town. Keep moving, as he will shoot projectiles at you from afar. When you meet him in
town another screamer fights with him. He will next teleport inside the light house.

Bash in the door and head into the lighthouse. Search the closet next to the steps to find a silver key. Run up the steps
to fight Maze at the midway point. It's a cheap move, but constant enflame attacks will knock him off his feet and take
away major chunks of health. When he teleports back down to ground level, continue up the lighthouse to find a silver
chest containing a Murren Great Axe.

Head back down to ground level and finish off Maze. He has a few last words explaining that Jack is activating the focus
points around Albion.

Rewards:

 Trophy: Maze's Clasp

 Guild Reward: 16000 Gold
 Renown Reward 1500
 Experience: 3087

The guild master will order you back to the map room. Jack has started activating the ancient focus sites. Stock up on
potions at the guild store if you need them and enter the Cullis Gate to begin the quest. The first site is at Witchwood
where Briar Rose is fending off Jack's minions. You can do battle with the enemies for fun, or run straight to the portal
site to find out that you are too late. Follow Jack through the portal to Orchard Farm.

This location has also been activated and you continue to the hob cave. You meet up with Thunder in the moonlit in the
moonlit chamber and the two of you make it to the focus chamber just in time to see Jack of blades activate the next site
which is Headsman's Hill. You must run through the Windmill area and Gibbet woods just in time to see Jack activate
the last portal. Jack is now headed for the guild.

Battle Jack of Blades

The guild is engulfed in flames and the guild master wounded in the library. You must enter the chamber of fate to stop
Jack. In the caves before the chamber there is a fallen hero and an Oak Longbow. This is a hint for the battle that lies
ahead.

Jack slays your mother, takes the sword of Aeons, and the battle begins. The first part of the battle consists of a hoard
of minions. Build up your flourish and take them out one after another. Jack is behind a magical field at this point so
don't worry about him. After the minions are dead, Jack will come out from behind the field to fight. Roll under his
projectile attacks, hit him twice to activate a flourish and then hit him two or three times before he runs out of the way.
After running away a few times jack will enter the next phase of the battle. Stone pillars will rise out of the ground on the
outer edge of the room and Jack will levitate in the center. There are two ways to approach this section. If you have the
enflame spell, you can simply sit under jack and rip off enflame bursts until he is toast, or you can strafe and roll around
the outside of the room and stick him full of arrows. If you choose the outside, hide behind the pillars when he launches
his most powerful attack, as it will drain your entire life bar.

Jack falls and your mother's soul is released from the sword. Now you must choose between slaying your sister and
gaining ultimate power, or tossing the sword into the abyss. Cast the sword into the vortex and be done with the vile
thing. Congratulations, you have conquered the darkness of Albion. The fun isn't over yet, you'll soon see that the Lost
Chapters have just begun.

Evil Walkthrough Part 1
This guide approaches Fable from a cold hearted, scurrilous, and generally evil point of view. As a child your actions
don't yet count towards your personality, but this doesn't mean that you can't get an early start on being a dick.

Our hero awakens from his day dreams on the front steps of his house. Your father instructs you that it iss your sister's
birthday. He wants to hear reports about his son's good behavior and he will reward you with money to buy a present.
Your father will appear as the primary objective marker on your map. There are also smaller green dots on your map
which act as quest markers. Try punching your father, the guards, and anyone else who gets in the way.

Bad Deeds
There is a way to get the money for your sister's present without completing the good tasks. First, head behind your
neighbor's house where you will find a man hitting on a woman. It turns out this man is married, and he will offer you a
bribe to keep quiet. Take the bribe for a bad deed. You can also head downhill into town and tell his wife for another
gold piece; however this will count as a good deed.

For your next bad deed take a right after walking past the pub and the trader. As you walk down the path you will run
into a man who asks you to watch his stock while he answers the call of nature. When the man asks you to watch his
barrels, a boy will tempt you with breaking them. Go ahead and smash every barrel. In one of them you will find a gold
piece and in two others there are some beetles. Make sure you take off before the man returns to perform another bad
deed.

Leave the warehouses and take a right at the end of the path. As you wind upwards you will find a bully tormenting a
small child. Join the bully by locking onto the child with the L trigger punching him in the noggin. The boy will cry a bit
and give you his sister's teddy bear. Sell the bear to the trader for your third gold piece and buy your sister's present.
and pop him a few in the chin.

Head over to the trader and speak to him to buy the sweets. Then follow the map north to a small field give your sister
the present. She will want to return home, but just as you leave the forest a cut scene will start. Bandits have attacked
the town, killing your father and taking your mother and sister.

Training

Melee Combat Test

The first round of training in the melee circle involves punching the training dummy 7 times. The guild master will then
reward you with a stick. Equip the stick with the white button and hit the dummy another 7 times to destroy it. This is
your first encounter with experience, walk over the shiny orb to obtain it or hold the Absorb Button to suck it towards you.
Quest complete!

Rewards:
20 gold
30 renown

Beetle Bashing
After completing training the guild bell rings, indicating a disturbance. You are sent to the guild woods to take care of a
beetle infestation. Lock onto the beetles and bash away. It should only take one hit with the stick to kill each bug. A
heroes work indeed.

Rewards:
Gold: 20
Renown: 30
Extra Renown: 10
Experience: 10

You now have the option to advance to the teenage years. Speak to the Guild Master and enjoy the cut scene
describing the next few years of training. When it ends you will have grown considerably. It is time to meet with the Guild
Master again to continue training. Race Whisper to the melee combat ring by running outside and across the river.
When you arrive the Guild Master will hand you an Iron Long sword to replace your trusty but weak stick.
Sword Training
Training continues in the melee ring with Whisper. In the first round, attack her until the Guild Master stops you.
Continue training by learning to block . Let Whisper attack while holding Y and you will advance to a short sparring
match with her. Whisper is easily beaten by tapping Attack and advancing on her. Practice dodging her attacks and
switching views when she flips over your head.

Bow Training
The sparring match is followed by archery training. The Guild Master gives you a Yew Bow. Press Attack to fire of shots
at the three targets, afterwards the guild master will test your accuracy with moving practice dummies. The one in front
is worth one point. The middle one is worth 3, and the back one is worth nine points. Aim to the right of the range where
you can easily wait for all three targets to pass by without changing your aim.

Will Training
Head over to the waterfalls by the demon door to practice Will powers. Hold the Will Button and the press Attack to
launch a bolt. If you also hold down the Lock On Button you can quickly cycle through targets.

Killing Sparrows Quest

Speak to the hooded guild apprentice near the entrance to the guild shop. Notice that he glows green when you
approach him. This means that he has a quest to offer you. Shoot the sparrow off of the roof and surrounding area to
receive some extra renown, experience, and evil points. There are two birds over the man who gives quest. One bird on
bush next to racers, one on the grave stones and two on the roof of the walkway by the gravestones.

Bow: After you receive your archery training you can return to the range to take the skill test. I recommend zooming all
the way in and aiming in the right corner of the range. Here you can keep your aiming reticule stationary and wait for the
targets to come to you! Score over 150 points and you receive an A+ and you will get a Yew Crossbow from the Guild
Master.

Sword: In the melee circle you can challenge whisper again for a grade. Pummel her without taking more than a couple
hits to receive an A+ and receive the Iron Katana .

Will: Go back to the falls to take the Will test. Simply face the training dummies and blast them with lightening when they
spin around. Hold down the lock on button to select the next available target. Don't worry about missing, just blast away.
You will receive a will potion and a resurrection phial for receiving an A+.

It is now time to head to the map room to speak with the guild master and continue on to adulthood. Before you
complete your training you must head to the guild woods and defeat Maze in a mock duel. It involves applying the three
combat skills learned during training and using them against him. Remember to lock on. After Maze praises your abilities
head back to the hero's guild for the graduation ceremony. Afterwards the guild master will teach you about leveling up.
See the leveling up section of the guide for help with this. The Guild Master gives you a pack of supplies including:

Rewards:
2 Resurrection Phials
A Lamp
2 Health Potions
A Will Potion
An Apple Pie
611 Experience

Evil Walkthrough Part 2

Rewards:
Trophy: Wasp Queen's Head
Guild Reward: 500 Gold
Renown Reward: 200
Experience: 958

Fisher's Creek
From the picnic area return to the greatwood entrance and look on your map for the entrance to Fisher's Creek. Here
you must save a fisherman from some wasps.

Tap A to reel the fish in, except for when
the fish is pulling and the controller is vibrating.

When there is a ripple effect in the water, chances are you'll pull up something interesting. Walk around the back of the
cabin to find a chest containing leather gauntlets. There are also a few places with ripples to fish around the cabin. On
the side of the cabin you can catch 100 gold, a silver key, a moonfish, and a working moustache. Fish in the spot
next to the dock to catch the Golden Fish Trophy and complete the fishing quest.

They beggar thanks you and runs off.

Be sure to choose an appropriate title that will instill fear in the hearts of Albion
citizens.

You can improve the value of
this home for 500, 700, and then 1400 dollars. Improving a house and then selling it is a great way to make a quick
profit.

In face, once you activate flourish you can
wait for the challengers to come to you and jump kick them over and over.

Return to the hero's guild and check that map room for the Orchard Farm quest. Choose the Attack Orchard Farm quest.
You can also use this quest to try out a boast. If you select to take quest and boast you will be transported to the podium
in front of lookout point. There are the usual boasts along with Protect Property and Protect Guards. You can select
multiple boasts if you feel up to it.

You will meet up with two bandits at the closed entrance to Orchard Farm. One of them will blow open the gate. The
goal of this quest is to lead the bandits to the barn where they will pick up the crates and carry them back to the
entrance. Each time you approach the barn, three guards will attack. Take them out from afar with lightening and when
you get in close charge up your flourish. Once the third crate is stolen the quest is over. You may now be evil enough to
use the middle finger expression.
After the farmer begs you to leave him alone, Whisper will appear and challenge you to another duel. Info comes up
about the flourish technique. See the combat section for more info on flourish. Whisper is easily defeated with a few
flourish moves. She will still flip over your head. Simply turn around and tap the Lock On Button to face her again.
Defeating her will end the quest and reward you with:

First, there are two sets of armed white Hobbes, then magic users, and
finally large armored Hobbes which take a lot of damage before they fall for good. Dodge and roll constantly to avoid
their strikes. After beating on his minions the door allows you through where you will find a chest containing Will User's
Dark clothes.

The weapons trader here also sells a flame
augmentation. There is also a black jack dealer who will be happy to let you bet on a few hands. Continue on to the
temple of Skorn. Around the left side of the temple you can find a chest with an assassin shirt.

Temple of Skorn
The temple of Skorn is where you can increase your evil alignment. Unlike the good temple of Avo, instead of donating
money, you must make sacrifices. Get followers from Oakvale or Barrows field to follow you to the temple and then
slaughter them at the altar. Sacrifices are really worth something if they are made at midnight. Try doing this to receive a
special prize. Getting people to follow you means that you will have to have enough renown to convince them to tag
along for the trip. You will also have to keep the followers alive long enough to reach the temple. The slow time spell is
handy for getting the jump on enemies before they can attack your followers.

Grey House
Take a left once you enter barrow fields to enter an area called Grey House.

Search the scarecrow
behind the house for a Talin arm tattoo, search the bookshelf on the first floor for a Talin leg tattoo, and open the
chest for a ruby.

Upstairs there is a silver chest requiring 10 keys which holds a sharpening augmentation. Search the surrounding for
an Ages of will potion and a normal beard card. Head into the cellar. The chest yields a will master's elixir and the
barrels offer a couple of health and will potions. Search the corpse of the young woman for a dusty piece of parchment
which informs that this was the house of Lady Grey, who murdered her older sister to take her place as Mayor of
Bowerstone.
Evil Walkthrough Part 3

This contest is barely different from
the first one, hit the men until you get flourish, then wait for the fighters to come to you and kick them over. You can also
knock them out of the ring, beat on them until time is almost up and run back into the circle. Winning will give you 100
renown and the fist fighters level 2 pass.

Pirate's Booty
Head down to the beach on east side of town and speak to the ghost of the pirate. He will tell you to dig up his treasure
on the other beach with a spade and give it to his wife. In the abandoned cabin there is a ruby with your name on it.

Head to the other side of the beach and pass the pirate's wife and find a chest containing the assassin boots. Then use
a spade (they can be bought in town) to dig directly to the left of the jetty as you look out to sea.

Return the treasure to her and you will receive some good points. Or, if you are truly evil, you can read ahead to find out
where the pirate's other treasure stash is and keep the money as well. If you have returned the money to the wife the
ghost pirate will recognize your good deed and tell you that the rest of the treasure is located underneath the axe of a
statue in the cemetery. Head to the memorial gardens and dig under the right side of the statue of the man to find a
silver key, and an obsidian great axe. Booya! On the way back, just downhill from the cemetery to the left find a chest
containing a Resurrection Phial.

Coin Golf
This game can be incredibly frustrating, but we've got the winning moves to help you through. There are four holes with
an overall par of 13. If you score an 11 or under you will be rewarded with a Whisper Hero doll.

Here are the best starting shots for each hole. On the first two use a little less then full strength and with some luck you
can get a hole in one on both of them. On the third shot use full strength and use a little more than half strength on the
fourth to put yourself into a decent position.

meet a kind old woman who will ask you to find her grandson. She also gives you a hexagon key.

Enter the side chamber and free the bandit from the Hobbes then agree to go treasure hunting with him. You must
protect him until he makes it to the concentration chamber and then choose to replace the boy with him. This will reward
you with evil points. If you choose to attack the nymph the chamber is then flooded with Hobbes. Kill them and keep
them away from the boy. Escaping the cave is difficult, you must tell the boy to stay put at the beginning of each section
and then venture forth and clear the cave of dangers. The Main hall chests contain: 500 gold, flame augmentation,

At the end of the area check the left side of the map screen for a demon door and a chest containing a resurrection
vial. This door will only open if you dress up in three different types of clothing. The first outfit must be bright plate
armor, the second is Will User's Dark robes and the third is the Bandit Outfit.

Before you enter the next area put on the bandit Outfit as the gate keeper will only let you in with the disguise on.

Bandit Camp
This area almost has the feel of a town. There are all manners of shopkeepers and a mercenary for hire close to the
camp fire. You will now need to procure a camp pass in order to enter the Twin Blade's inner sanctum. There are two
ways to accomplish this. Head across the pond in the southern section of this area to the bar. There you can play a
matching game which will win you the pass. The game works like this: In the first round three items are shown and then
covered. When the cover comes off an extra item has been added and you must guess which one. There are 5 rounds
and an extra item is added each time. The easiest way to beat this game is to name each item and then recite that list
when the new item is added. If this is too difficult for you the pass can be bought from a bandit next to the bar for 1000
gold.

There are also two ways to complete this goal. The good
way is to kill the guard in front of the imprisoned women, its also cheaper so you may be tempted into performing a good
deed. Or to be more evil you can pay off the assassins around the camp fire to cause a diversion and you will be able to
enter the gate.

Be sure to attack
Twinblade while he is down and you will battle him again. This time you will also fight the thieves that surrounded the
last battle. Twinblade kills most of them for you with his sweeping attacks. He has no new moves, so use the same
techniques as before to take him down for good. You will receive 150 evil points for killing Twinblade.
Rewards:
Trophy: Bandit Seal
Guild Reward: 4500
Renown Reward: 608
Experience:15066

You aren't done yet, return to the matching game and try to beat it under 25 seconds to receive the Twin Blade Hero
Doll.

Evil Walkthrough Part 4

After defeating him search the skeleton on the path ahead for a will potion, and ages of will potion, and a book
entitled "The Guild of Zeros".

Try fishing in the pond across from the demon
door to find a silver key.

The men surrounding the sword
will educate you as to its history. You will need full stats in Strength to make this sword budge so you will have to return
later.

Return to the Demon Door and enter the cavern to find the archeologist. He's none too pleased to see you, but you are
rewarded with:

Guild Reward: 1200

The Cavern contains a bookshelf with a howl tattoo. A few books and a chest containing Chainmail Leggings and a
chest containing a Resurrection Phial. There is a Silver chest here that will require 15 keys to open. The areas that are
reachable from Witchwood are the Arena and Knotholl Glade, however you will need to return to the guild in order to
access these places so you might as well teleport back to the map room.

White Balverine Quest

Take this quest at the guild and return to Witchwood. The area is now filled with Balverines and Bandits so get ready to
brawl. You will come across two guards in the Witchwood Stones area who are tired of their boring patrol. A little ways
ahead a man will beg you to help his wife who is being attacked by Balverines. This is a trap that leads to being attacked
by Bandits. Kill them all and then move along to find the man cowering in the corner, be sure to kill him for his little
prank. Pass through the Witchwood Lake area, don't forget to open the chest across from the lake which contains a
flame augmentation.

The Quest begins when you enter the area just outside of Knothold Glade Gates. There are a group of villagers who are
locked out of the town. Four Balverines will attack one at a time. Make quick work of them and the village gates will be
open. The Chief informs you that there is a white Balverine leading the attacks. The critter makes an appearance and
fights you for a bit before running off. The chief tells you to visit a woman on top of the hill who used to be married to a
hero who was known for slaying the creatures. Notice that the townspeople have run off, but if it is daytime, the shops
are still filled with equipment. If your Guile is level three or higher, this is a great opportunity to steal everything in town.

Head uphill until you reach a dead end in town and the Balverine will attack once again. Hit it 7 times to scare it off into
the woods. The wife of the hunter appears and informs you that the Balverine is in face her husband who was bitten
when he was attacking the Balverines. She hands you a silver augmentation, which is the best way to inflict damage
on the animals. Apply this to your weapon of choice and follow the quest marker on your map to face the beast again.
You will hit him just 5 times before it runs off and the chief offers you a reward to chase it down to Witchwood Lake.

Just outside the gates there is a Demon Door that will only open if you can hurt it by firing off an arrow. Once you get the
ebony long bow, this should be powerful enough to open the door.
The Arena Quest
Boasts:
No Protection: Wager 500, Reward: 4000
Without a Scratch: Wager 400, Reward: 1000
Clean Sweep: Wager 1000, Reward: 2000
Merciful Hero: Wager 1000, Reward: 2000

After Whisper begs for mercy, hit her again to fight her to the death.
She has the same moves as before, except at the end of this battle she stays down. The Arena rewards include 28,600
gold for not dropping out and an extra 10,000 for killing Whisper.

Rewards:
Champions's Seal
King Scorpion Sting
Renown 2000
Experience: 35125

Break the barrels in the jail region to find a Sheriff Moustache, Ages of will potion, and a health potion. Look along
the right side of the path after crossing the bridge to find a piercing augmentation, then open the chest next to the
boulder to the right of the entrance to Windmill Hill to find an ebony longbow.

Windmill Hill
Search the scarecrow to your left after entering Windmill Hill to find a trader style moustache. There is a fishing spot
across from the scarecrow that will yield a wedding ring. Head up the hill where you will face four undead. Walk up the
steps on the outside of the windmill to find a chest containing a Resurrection Phial. Inside the Windmill there are barrels
that can be broken and yield Ages of might potion, a will potion, red meat, and 100 gold. Behind the windmill, dig in
the circle of red roses with the spade to find a silver key. Continue around the back of the Windmill to open a chest that
will give you Treasure clue 6.

Continue to Head Hill where Thunder and a crowd of onlookers are waiting for you. Thunder has two main attacks: a
jumping slash and his lightning spell. Roll under the slash and roll away from him when the lightning starts. You can
basically button mash the Attack Button to take him out. After half of his life is drained he will say that if he cannot have
her, no one can and the two of you topple over the cliff edge. When you land, the fight continues in the same manner.
Take off 75% of his life and he runs off into a cave. In this area there is a fishing spot that yields another silver key, and
a demon door that will only open to someone who has defeated another hero in battle.

Enter HeadsMan's Cave and fight Thunder for the final time. You will receive his helmet as a reward. There is also a
silver chest in the cave that will open for 15 silver keys, this takes you back to the entrance to Headsman's hill. You can
travel back to Bowerstone and you will have the option to marry Lady Grey the next time you talk to you. The best part of
marrying Lady Grey is the Dowry of 15000 gold that comes with the wedding. You also gain access to Bowerstone
Manor. There is a silver key hidden underneath Lady Grey's bed, but finding it will reward you with 5 evil points.

Kill Leader: Wager 500, Reward 1200

Extra Gold: 1630
Renown: 450
Extra Renown: 72

Evil Walkthrough Part 5

Rewards:
Trophy: Minion's Helmet

Rescue Scarlet Robe

There are three
books, choose the one on the far left. This will yield the warden's key. Every time you do not complete this task a year
will pass and you must win the race again and hear the warden's poetry.

Kraken

Your mother imbues you with the power of your bloodline and the quest
ends.

Besides the Thunder Hero doll for sale in Bowerstone North, this is the last hero doll that you need to collect. Head back
to Bowerstone and talk to the school teacher to receive the Jack of Blades Hero Doll.
If you Break into the lighthouse you can find the last silver key in the bookshelf on the bottom floor. Upstairs there is a
silver chest containing the Murren Great Axe.

The guild master instructs you to head back to the Hook Coast. Once you teleport there the quest will begin. Head into
town from the Cullis gate and run towards the blocked portal. On the way you will face three Screamers. While they
have a good number of hit points, these enemies pose little threat. The guild master will unlock the gate where you find
Maze and your sister. It turns out the old wizard has been working for Jack the entire time.

Battle Maze

If you haven't yet, search the closet next to the steps to find the last
silver key. Run up the steps to fight Maze at the midway point. It's a cheap move, but constant enflame attacks will
knock him off his feet and take away major chunks of health. When he teleports back down to ground level, continue up
the lighthouse to find a silver chest containing a Murren Great Axe.

Head back down to ground level and finish off Maze. He has a few last words explaining that Jack is activating the focus
points around Albion.

The fun isn't over yet, as the Lost Chapters have
just begun

The Lost Chapters
Here it is, your one stop hub for all of the added material. Much of the new Lost Chapters content can be accessed
before you reach the end of the game. Read below to learn about all of the side quests and when you can do them.

Bowerstone

Find the Mushrooms - Evil

If you explore Bowerstone early in the game, you'll eventually be prompted to go see a mother and her sick child. The
mother tells you that you need to bring back Blue Mushrooms to cure the child's ailment.

The first and second mushrooms can be found in the Heroes' Guild. Fish for one near the Demon Door. The other can
be gotten by going into the Guild Woods and killing the man there. Talk to him and get his letter anyways. He'll want you
to deliver it to his girlfriend in Oakvale. Now you can be extra evil and tell her the letter is from you.

You'll get the third mushroom in the Picnic Area. Kill the girl there to take her mushroom.

The final mushroom is in Barrow Fields. You'll find a trader there willing to sell it for 1500 Gold. That's pretty overpriced,
especially considering that the punishment for stealing is only 750 Gold...

final mushroom is in Barrow Fields. You'll find a trader there willing to sell it for 1500 Gold. Buy it from him to bring back
to the witch.

Lost Books
Go to the Bowerstone School as soon as you are allowed into the town. There, you'll learn that Lady Grey has sold
some of the books. Bring 8 evil books back and you'll be rewarded with a Dark Wizard Hat. Bring back some nicer
reading material and you'll get a Bright Wizard Hat. Keep returning books to fill up the entire collection for a Silver Key.

Oakvale

Chicken Punting
Once you arrive in town, look for a man on the east side of town, marked by a green dot. He'll ask you to go down to the
beach and get rid of the trouble makers that have been interfering with his contest. Complete the Pirate's Booty quest
and then talk to him again. He'll open up the Chicken Kicking Contest. Score over 150 points and you'll get a Silver Key.
If you score over 250 points, you'll get the Grand Chicken Hat.
Murder With a Twist - Evil
Behind the house where you originally saw the adulterous couple, you can find a guard who wants a man killed. He's
willing to give you 1000 Gold to do the job too. Agree to take the job and go find him at Twinblade's Tent. Pull out your
weapon a few times and he'll realize why you're there. He'll offer you 2,000 Gold to go kill the guard, who happens to be
his brother. Refuse and it will go up to 2,500. Evil people don't kill bandits. It looks too nice on paper. Take the money
back and kill the guard.

was a bandit anyways. Go back to the guard and collect your reward.

Darkwood Bordello - Darwood Lake Region

Big Pimping - Evil

After you complete the Trader Escort quest, the door to the Bordello will open in the Darkwood Lake region. Go inside
and sample the wares. You can sleep with any of the ladies, for a price. The Madame will tell you that she's been trying
to wrest control of the Bordello from the cruel owner. Talk to him and you'll learn he has a soft spot for beer. Start
handing him beers and he'll get so liquored up that he'll pass out and reveal the location of the deeds to the building. Go
dig them up under the tree by the lake and you'll have ownership of this place. Now every girl has to sleep with you
whenever you want. Score! Since you're an evil sort, don't let the Madame change this into a refuge shelter. Open it up
for business and be twice the tyrant that the previous boss was.

turn this into a refuge shelter.

Don't forget to open the Demon Door by sleeping with 10 women from the Bordello as well as fishing in the pond before
leaving. You can also find the Redhead Wig upstairs in the trunk.
Fisher's Creek

Fishing Contest

After you get your fishing rod, don't forget to go talk to the man standing by the docks. He'll tell you about a fishing
contest he is running. If you catch a fish larger than 50g, he'll give you first prize. The prize package consists of a Silver
Key, the Fisherman's Hat, and the Rod of Champtions. You can easily catch a big enough fish on the docks right in
front of you. You'll want to return the fish to him quickly to be judged. If you wait too long, the fish won't be able to be
entered, so go talk to him as soon as you catch a monster.

Heroes' Guild

Trader Rescue Quest

After taking down Twinblade, return to the Guild and you'll find the Trader Rescue/Trader Massacre quest available. This
is a simple enough quest to complete on either side. For the Rescue Quest, you'll begin by teleporting to Twinblade's
Camp. Your job is to make sure that none of the Trader's die by safely escorting them to the main exit. Clear out the
map of any bandits before talking to a Trader. Once the map is clear, you'll notice two green dots. One of them is a hired
thug that you can give some money to and recruit his services. This might not be a bad idea. The other is the Trader.
Talk to him and more bandits will come out, so do your best to protect the Trader.

When the area is clear bring him to the exit and and go to the next area to find the other two. Get rid of all of the bandits
quickly and then talk to one of the Traders them with you. When you get back to the main area, more enemies will
attack. Watch the Traders' health. When it starts going down, ignore everything else and stop them from getting hurt.
Bring them to the exit to finish the quest.
Trader Massacre Quest
The evil side of this quest is slightly easier. Go to the Barrow Fileds area and kill every guard and Trader. As more
guards come in, shoot them with arrows until they get close enough to clobber with a blade. When you've finished, a
cutscene will show you the last Trader. You can choose to kill him or let him go. Real evil people would kill this poor sap.

Darkwood Disturbance
This quest is available at the time you receive the Graveyard Path Quest and can be started by going to the Darkwood
Lake region. There you'll find a woman who needs a little bit of help stopping some minions from opening a dimensional
portal and summoning a strange creature. Your first job is to simply clear the field of the minions. By now you should be
familiar with them and it shouldn't be a problem. Look for a glowing structure and bring your companion to it. She'll begin
to recite an incantation to seal the portal. The only problem is that she needs some time to do it.

A timer will appear on the corner of the screen next to your companion's life bar. It has to fill completely up before you or
she dies to complete the quest. We found that area spells worked best to stop the minion onslaught. If you stand beside
her and continuously cast them, the minions will be repelled and won't be able to do any damage. Keep at it until she
announces that she is done and you'll complete the quest.

The Lost Chapters

The Ransom Victim

This quest is available immediately after beating Jack of Blades. Take this quest and head to Knothole Glade. Find the
Chief and talk to him to learn that his son has been kidnapped by bandits and is being held for ransom. You'll have to
get him out of the Witchwood Cave, but you don't have to bring him back to the Chief. Turns out his other son wants that
brother dead. The choice is yours who you turn him over to.

Follow the map over to the Witchwood cave where you first found the Alchemist. The bandits there will tell you that their
boss is inside. The head bandit asks for 7,500 Gold in ransom. If you decide you'd rather not pay, you can simply kill him
and deal with the bandits outside. If you fork over the money, the bandits won't hurt you. Either way, you're going to
have a tough battle bringing the kid back to town.
If you gave the 7,500 Gold to the bandits, they won't bother you on the trip back. Wasps, balverines, and trolls will in
their place. No matter which route you choose, the best method is to tell the boy to wait at the beginning of each new
screen and then clearing out the danger ahead. The boy can easily die from the strong enemies. Keep an eye on his
health to make sure nothing has gotten past you.

Back in the town, you can hand the boy over to his brother for 60 evil points, or do the right thing and bring him back to
his father. Both ways give you a completion of the quest.

Prophets of the Fire Heart

To begin the true quest of the Lost Chapter, you'll have to go back to the Guild. Outside at the Boasting Platform, you'll
find the ghost of Scythe warning of coming danger. Also, a new Demon Door will appear. It will let you through since you
have the mask you ripped off of Jack's face. Inside you'll find some prophets who are encased in crystals. Only solving a
puzzle will let them free, or kill them. Both outcomes end with you getting the Fire Heart, so don't worry about being evil
or good.
To release the prophets, you need to turn all of the symbols into suns. Likewise, if you want to kill them you need to turn
all of the symbols into moons. By stepping on a tile, you change it from a moon to a sun or vice versa. This challenge
consists of 5 such puzzles. Each of them is easily solved even if you make a mistake. If you find yourself having to step
onto a moon when you are trying to turn everything into suns, simply step forward twice (once past the tile in question)
and then back again. If you find yourself in a corner, this two steps forward followed by one back will get you out of any
jam. Just don't make a habit of doing this from the beginning or you will run out of time. Complete five of these puzzles in
either direction and you'll get the Fire Heart.

Ship of the Drowned

Now that you have the Fire Heart, you need to use it to summon the Ship of the Drowned. Begin by teleporting to Hook
Coast and climbing the lighthouse. Find the little platform at the top and place the Fire Heart in it. Once you go back
outside, you'll see that a Summoner is trying to destroy the Fire Heart. Don't let it! Run over and attack that guy to
protect your treasure. Once you kill him, you'll be informed that there are two more that need dealing with.
Use your minimap and follow the gold guild symbols to find the other two. Do it quickly, because they are slowly
breaking the Fire Heart. Along the way you'll have to fight some Minions. Knock out the two Summoners to complete the
quest.

The Oracle of Snowspire

Immediately after killing the last Summoner, you'll hop onto the ship you summoned and ride it off into the wilderness.
Finally, you'll arrive at the Lost Bay - a new land. Start by running to the right and going down a path to the water. Fish
there and you'll find an Elixir of Life. Nearby, you'll see a 30 Key Silver Chest that you'll have to come back for later.
Inside it is The Avenger. Head back up the path. Just when you arrive at the house, look for a grave. Dig in it to find
another Silver Key. Go up the stairs into the house to find a chest contiaining a Resurrection Phial. Downstairs are
some barrels. Smashing them open will reveal a Furite Swirl Torso Tattoo and a Diamond.

Go outside and start walking up the stairs. At the first platform, go to the left and you'll find a chest with the Holy Warrior
Helm. Further up the path you'll find an Ice Troll. These guys can be beaten with the same tactics you've been using
against the Rock Trolls. Roll in and start hitting them. When they jump up in the air, roll back and hold down block. As
soon as the barrier goes back down, roll back in. You have to be fast in trying to approach these guys. Instead of
throwing things at you, they'll shoot a line of ice that will knock you back. Roll diagonally towards them and avoid coming
straight at their attacks to get in close. Continue on to the Northern Foothills when you have disposed of this guy.

In the Northern Foothills, look for a dead body to your left when you enter. He won't be needing that book or the Red
Meat, so pick them up. Just ahead there is a crack in the wall. Fish there for an Elixir of Life. Then grab the Ages of
Will Potion from the chest ahead on the right. Fight your way past the Minions guarding the path. Just when the trail
makes a bend to the west, look for a grave. Dig there to find the Furite Stripe Face Tattoo. Open the chest near the
fork in the road to pick up a Health Augmentation and then follow your map to go into Archon's Shrine.

Run past the Guild Transporter and you'll see a patch of ice. Run across it and look for a trail going up the hill. There
you'll find a chest with Orkon's Club in it. Follow the trail along to the east. When you can turn uphill, go straight instead
and you'll find yourself at a stream. Fish there to find an Elixir of Life. Continue up the path into the shrine. After the
cutscene, you're told to continue on to Snowspire. Before you do, go to the north and look for a chest with the Daemon
Warrior Helm. Next, go back and take the western trail. Fish in the lake to find a Will Master Elixir. Then, go west to
enter Snowspire Village.

Snowspire Village
Scythe tells you that your new job is to seek out the Glyphs of Inquiry. First, explore the town. Stock up on any items you
may need and feel free to loot the shelves. The Fire Assassin Outfit is littered throughout people's cabinets in the town.
You'll also find quite a few new Tattoo Cards if you like stealing. When you're ready, go back through Archon's Shrine
to the Northern Foothills. This time go north.

Necropolis
The four Glyphs that you are searching for are buried in graves thoughout this area. The places you should dig to search
for them are marked by green dots on your mini map, but the actual locations of the Glyphs is random. You'll have to go
through and dig each one up to find them. If you dig up the wrong grave, you'll be attacked by Minions. Some graves,
however, contain some handy items so your search won't be fruitless.
In addition to digging the graves, you can also find the last Demon Door. This one will only let you in if you give him all of
your Silver Keys. Don't do it until you've opened every Silver Key Chest in the game, because you can't get them back.
There are several chests in this area which contain a Mana Augmentation and an Ages of Skill Potion. The real
treasure is the 25 Key Silver Chest which has the full Archon's Battle Suit. Lastly, there is a fishing spot in the river
where you can find a Silver Key.

Once you have three of the Glyphs, all of the green dots save for one will disappear. Follow the trail to find it and you'll
come across another Ice Troll. Take him down and then walk forward to claim your last Glyph. You'll be confronted by
several Minions and Summoners. With them out of the way, you'll get your final Glyph and finish the quest. Head back to
Snowspire.

Your next task is to go to Archon's Shrine and talk to Briar Rose. Before you do, use the new expressions you learned in
front of the shrine to learn more about the history of the world.
The Souls of Heroes
To open thre Bronze Gate, you need to trap the souls of three heroes in Jack's mask. Briar Rose tells you that the first
one is Thunder and that you can find him in Knothole Glade.

Good
In Knothole Glade, talk to Thunder. He'll tell you to go to the Arena and search for the souls of past fighters.

In the Hall of Heroes you'll find several Summoners terrorizing everyone. Kill them and keep going. Grab the potions in
the Arena Anteroom and continue into the Arena itself. First you'll fight a Rock Troll, an Earth Troll, and two Minions. The
second wave has two Rock Trolls and four Minions. After that you'll be faced with two waves of Minions and Balverines
followed by two waves of Minions and Summoners. As usual, area effect spells work best in the Arena. Keep yourself
from getting surrounded. In the early rounds, stay close to one of the Trolls so that you don't have two of them constantly
bombarding you with projectiles so that you'll have a chance to deliver some hits.

Evil
Kill Thunder and take his soul. It's that simple.
Return to the Shrine and release your collected soul. The second soul that you need to collect is one of a Heroine. As
always, you have two choices.

Good
Travel to Oakvale. Your mother's soul is your target, so head to the graveyard where she is buried. Your mother gives
up her soul willingly, but you'll have to battle a legion of Screamers to get it. The Screamers can quickly drain your life.
Make sure you keep moving and swinging away at the crowds of them. Using Slow Time can help, but don't try to use
any spell that takes time to charge up. Keep moving back and forth across the battlefield taking them down until a
cutscene tells you that you've done enough.

Evil
Kill Briar Rose and take her soul. Attacking her initiates the battle, just like with Thunder. Briar Rose uses trickery to
make this battle tough, but it still is a piece of cake. She'll create clones of herself which you should run around
smashing until you come across the real one. Once you do, she'll try to attack. If you simply keep swinging, she won't be
able to get an attack off. After a while, she'll repeat the cloning process. Just keep swinging away with a big object to get
her soul.
The last soul you'll have to get is the Oldest Soul. Travel to the Guild in search of more clues. There you'll find that the
Guildmaster is holed up in the woods and that you can find Nostro's Soul in the Lychfield Graveyard.

Good
Teleport to Lychfield. Follow the Guild Seal north and you'll find quite a surprise. The undead are fighting the Minions
and Summoners! You can join in on the fun or just run past it to the Circle of the Dead. Nostro is willing to give up his
soul, but you'll have to earn it in battle so that he feels like a warrior. In order to hurt him, you'll first have to take out the
undead soldiers sworn to protect him. You can only hurt him when he takes a more earthly form and stops being
transparent. For each undead soldier you kill, he'll go opaque for a brief amount of time. This is when you should attack
him. You can easily roam the outer edges of the field and pluck these guys out with arrows, but the undead enemies are
so weak at this point in the game that running in to the middle and just swinging away works just as well. Simply swing
at the group of undeads, then turn and launch a combo on Nostro. He'll be dead in no time.

Evil
Go to the Guild Woods in search of the Guildmaster. Some Guards will try to stop you, but they won't do a very good
job. Inside, the Guildmaster will send the Guards after you. Don't worry about the Guildmaster, focus your attention on
the Guards instead. He'll heal them and cast Physical Shield on them, but it should only be a matter if time before you
take them all out. After you do, the Guildmaster will ask you to change your mind. Tell him that you don't want Nostro's
soul and you'll give him a nice clobbering.
The Final Battle

With all three souls, head back to Archon's Shrine to open the Bronze Gate. When you're ready, walk through it for your
final confrontation with Jack of Blades.

Jack of Blades has apparently turned into a dragon. While he may look tough, this battle is actually quite easy. Jack the
dragon has three main attacks. He will leap up into the air and stomp at you if you get too close. Also, he will fly in the air
and send flames across the rear part of the battleground. The final, and rarest attack, is to land on the edge of the arena
and shoot three fireballs at you.

Begin the battle by running halfway up one of the staircases in the back corner. From there, start shooting arrows at the
dragon's head. If you have any spells that can up your attack, use them. If you stay where you are, the stomp attack
won't be strong enough to travel all the way to you. Also, the attack where Jack flies in the air and blows fire down at you
will go behind you and miss you. Stay where you are and fire away. Only move if Jack does the rare move. You'll know it
is coming when he suddenly lands either next to you or across from you. This is when you should roll away from the
fireballs.

After you take off a good chunk of life, Jack will call up Minions and Summoners to attack you. Quickly get rid of them
and get back to your safe position to keep attacking. Towards the end, Jack will be flying more than he will be on the
ground, so wait out the time periods by clearing the field of any riff-raff.

Once his life is gone, the mask absorbs Jack of Blades soul. You're left with one final option: Do you put on the mask
and use the unholy power or destroy it once and for all? The choice is yours.

Hero Save Exploit

In the middle of a quest, if you use a hero save and reload the save, you will start at the beginning of the quest as if you
had never begun, and you will retain all items that you obtained during the last run of the quest. This is especially useful
in the Arena, where vast amounts of money can be made if used right.

Unlockable: Sword of Aeons

At the end of the game choose to kill your sister. If you watch the credits you will get to continue playing with the sword
of Aeons, a massively powerful weapon.

Hint: Continuous Play

Watch the credits at the end of the game to continue playing with your character.

Unlockable: Skorn's Bow

Making sacrifices at the temple of Skorn at midnight will earn you Skorn's Bow. The easiest way to get a follower to the
temple is by hiring a merc to follow you.

Easter Egg: Cussing in Witchwood

In the Witchwood Cullis Gate area, there are four stones with a letter representing each stone. You have to spell the
Demon Door's name correctly which is H-I-T-S. However, if you enter the dirty four letter word instead, two Balverines
will attack. Spell it again, and the voice that pronounces each letter will follow it up with saying the word.
