 Social worker since from in 1963
week?
 Social worker has the duty to handle complaints from patient,
Social worker will call patient and discussion what he need, what
he must do and find a solution. For example patient complaints to
nurse or staff and then nurse or staff call social worker and say all
complaint patients. First sosial worker call the patient or family
and then Social worker will come to that place or that room to
discussion with patient or family patient for find a solution.
 Social worker have many group patient, like a cancer patient
group, burn patient group and others. Every group have activity
and every year have 2 times medical trip and outdor trip with
medical team.
 In this hospital have 15 person sosial worker
 Not all Hospital have social worker, meybe just a big Hospital.
Different in my country especially in my experience i’m work in
Hospital, in place i’m work not have Sosial Worker. If patient
have a complaints he must report to field hospital nursing, and
there just a head field nursing can doing something and find a
solution.
 Social worker hold a recruitment for to become volunteer, have 3
step is volunteer, recruitment and training. Every volunteer come
to hospital for a interview, and he must orientation in hospital for
1 week and 6 hours for 1 day. This is mean to give experience to
volunteers before he work in hospital.
  Time work for social worker is morning and afternoon. But have
a emergency social worker in the midnight.
 Every year they join to workshop in outside Hospital.
 Every July in Saturday morning they invite all patient and avery
group for meet and make some activity. In this time every team
group and patients meet with medical team so that can make
medical team and patients closer.
 Social worker have a small doctor camp, that is Elementary
School student. In this camp taught about how to protect him self,
taught how to doing CPR and how to avoid fire hazards.
 Every christmas sosial worker share many gift sent to the patient.
And if patient not have material for example shirt, jacket, or some
he need but he not have, he can come to social worker
departement and social worker provide free without having to
pay.
 If patient have a complaint/problem, he can call a number and say
what he feel, complaints, angry and what he not understand.
 Social worker have a room for disable is a Sosial Function
Asessment Room For Disable.
 We were also shown a video of the activities of social workers,
volunteers, patients and children in the elementary school.
 We are invited go to observe the relate work of social work
departement and understand the procedur in building of
education.
 Social workers have special forms for all patient data that they
handle.
 They have a special room for discussion with patients and
patients' families.

Clinical Skill and Simulation Center Introduction

 First we arrive at monitor room and there we have introduction
obout all monitor is can see all inside simulator center room. In
this hospital have building especially for education and have many
equipment high quality and more expensive. This makes the
hospital more advanced and growing, in the hospital where I work
 does not have a special building or education center for medical
staff working in this place, especially nurses and doctors.
 In this room has a tool for training nurses to install the correct
infusion and all complete equipment for infusion is available here
so that the nurse has the opportunity to practice many times like
practicing putting an IV in someone's hand. and besides the
infusion practice site there are other phantoms, this phantom
makes it easy for us to look for the pulse, and the pulse can also be
arranged to make the pulse very palpable and can be adjusted to be
difficult to touch.
 We have a presentation about clinical skill and simulator system
introduction, about all management in this room.
 In this room have a phantom for nurse and doctor.
 Practice solving cases, and use phantom which are all designed
like humans, and the room looks like an ICU, and is equipped with
several monitors. before they solve a patient's problem they must
discuss with each other how to solve this problem or find the right
solution.
 Before they head to the room available to treat patients (phantom).
they discussed first and foremost to solve the problem especially.
 After they also disscussion for eveluation about the cases.
 In this room have a lung inside a box glass, this lungs pig is come
from america and of cource very expensive. This is a real lungs
not phantom, we can see that lung work or breath like a normal
breath if the hose is connected to the air. In my country especially
in hospital i’m work not have like this. We not have a room or
building of education , wee not have room for training patient in
hospital, just for take care patient.

Tuesday 11/12/19
 In th morning we have explained about Home Care Service
 In this hospital have a activity Home care service consisting of
- Home Visit
- Family Group
- Christmas
 - Vacine
 Every month have a meeting with all medical team
 In this hospital to doing wound care is totally different with my
country espekebanyakan cially for place i’m work before. Here to
doing wound care have a team together with doctor, farmachy,
nurse, and volunteer for take care patient in home. In my country
who do home care are only nurses and come to the patient's own
home, sometimes accompanied by one person. In here to doing
home care not only take care patient but also take care for family
patient. They totally to help patient and take care patient with
family patient.
 In my country home care just take care for a wound patient,
mostly patient diabetic foot ulcers. In here home care most
trakeastomy, breast cancer, colostomy and others but about
diabetic foot ulcers very rarely.
 Home care here patient do not must pay full money to the medical
team, patient only pay 5%, tranportation for the medical team
come to home patient and insurance cover 95 %, so that very
lighten up patient. Also totally different in my country home care
not cover from insurance but patient must pay for your self,
insurance not cover home care because that outside insurance
coverage. So that i’m feel patient greatly help for that.
 Medical team in here provide a bath care for disable patient
(bathing services). patients do not need to pay for this, because
this is specifically used for disabled patients and this does not pay.
To doing need 1 nurse and 2 asistant. In my country we do not
have a bath care like in here, meybe we also no need because not
have patient for use that equipment, and because home care in my
country most about wound care diabetic foot ulcers.
 the founder of home care is from dr. Landsborought, he was born
in changhua and lives with taiwanese. and to appreciate that the
hospital set up a museum that contained everything about him.
 After the presentation we were invited to the 4th floor to see the
museum, there were many memories, about what he used for life
like a camera, a musical instrument, his wife's hand made, the
 clothes she was wearing, and so on. we were also invited to watch
a film that tells the journey of his life which is very moving.

Comunity Health Promotion Center

 We have explainen about Public Health Service
 Public health service since 1955
 Comunity health consist of Health education, Health screen, and
caring dor social.
 More than 800 workshops per years, more than 35.000 attendants.
And population from children to senior citizens, using common
languange to teach difficult medical information.
 For their children to teach about how about take care eyes, butel
nut free, sexual education, dental health care. For senior to teach
about self examination of breast cancer, weight management, and
exchange muscle strenght.
 In this hospital have 29 patients group, one part for cancer
patient : breast cancer, colon cancer et al and another part for non
malignant patients : COPD, IDDM, premature et all.
 Comunity health in this hospital have 3 month 1 time to doing
health education for patient, and have traveling with all goup 1
year 1 time.
 In here for patient or society who is 50 years old must doing
colonic examination, for 40 years and above ovarian examination
for women is recommended and all of them are free, and the
checks are usually provided on buses and buses that move every
year.
 Every year every patient must doing examination for his health
and that is free.
 In my country almost same, we have health education and have
activity avery year, but meybe different system.
 After the presentation we were invited to the elementary school,
then around the park and in the park there were educational boards
for children and adults alike. besides the educational board there
are also several exersice tools that can be used by the community
 in the garden, and are used freely. This shows that health problems
in this city are very much noticed. This doesn't exist in our city,
maybe we have a lot of parks but we don't have training tools like
here.

Wednesday 12/12/2018
 In the morning we have visiting Lu-Kang Branch Hospital, this
hospital is one of CCH and of course a good hospital. when we
arrived at this hospital we were immediately invited to a room and
welcomed by several hospital staff. we were introduced to a tool
used for wound care, for example in wounds that might be dirty
we could use this tool to make the wound better. but in its use it
still depends on the wound and we can setting in machine which
one we choise is suitable for use on whether the wound is in a
mild, moderate, or perhaps very serious situation, we can setting
depends from condition wound. Usually we doing wound care 3
times in one day but if we use this device we just wound or change
woung 3 days one time. Before we use this device we must
already to tools. Their use a special gauze in black color, depend
for size wound a bigger or small we cah choise and we can cut the
gauze depend size wound, and then this gauze on the cover in by a
certain plastick and if done u can continue to hose and put to the
wound patient.
 We also shown picture a wound pasien and how to put that device
in the wound.
 In this room their not have assassment form for patient, they just
have a record for wound patien is using to observe wound patient
every changes the wound.
 If the serious wound we must make this device every time until
condition wound improve.
 About home care i ask to the nurse in this hospital just have for
patient trakheastomy. Very different with my country, because in
my country have very many diabetes foot ulcers patients. So that
 we must doing wound care for diabetes foot ulcers, and in here
meybe a little pasient wit diabetes foot ulcers.
 After we done in this room we move to Hemodialisis departement.
In this departement we have explained about CKD and about
Hemodialisis, perironial dialisis and kidney transplant. also
axplained about diet patient and how to management patient CKD.

Yuan-Lin Branch Hospital

 After break we move to Yuan-Lin Hospital
 Yuan-Lin Hospital also is a branch of CCH, this hospital is a very
extraordinary hospital. When we arrived we were greeted with a
welcome greeting on a screen, it made us very proud and happy
when we see that. In this hospital have a big screen is use for
introduced this hospital, and and touch screen. We can also take
some photos with the screen and in the photo there is a picture of
the CCH building. Yes of course in my country espcially in
hospital place for i’m work before not have like this, a good
tecnology in here.
 This hospital have a machine or like a device for patient. If patient
arrive in this hospital and do an inspection, he can scan on the
device using a barcode and the data concerning the patient is
automatically updated to the internet and directly connected
directly to the doctor's computer or the place the patient will go to
do the examination.
 They also have blood tests and the results are automatically
entered into the computer and for safety they also dispose of the
rest of the blood collection in a container that has been provided
automatically so that staff can avoid blood contamination or
examination. After that we are invited to a room and welcomed by
head nurse. In my country still use family patient to delivered
blood sample to the laboratotium. And we not have like this tools.
 In hospital have blood pressure examination, measurement of
body weight and height and the result automatic will antry to the
data patient and outomatic upload in internet, so that doctor can
now about data patient without them having to deliver a print out
 of the results of the examination. In my country we do not have
this device , we just only manual blood pressure is doing of nurse.
 After that we are invited to a room, and have welcome of he head
nurse. In this room make a High Quality tecnology, in the nurse
station have monitor is continue with a every room patien. So that
every patient can control patient from the nurse station. And also
have a monitor for vital sign patient, and include the smart phone
every perawat so that nurse can now who patient have emergency
situation.
 A room patient we can look amazing room like hotel, because
desain and measure room meybe large and have a shofa for family,
tv, monitor, and telephone. In monitor in front of bed patient we
can doing anything, look for data patient, we can use internet,
watch movie, order food and others. In my contry we not have like
this room, like this facility, and this tecnology. I think need a more
time, meybe a long time to have all everything here. And meybe
need more money to buy facility and tecnology like this.
 We took some photos on the top floor, here the scenery is very
beautiful, we can see the whole Changhua from here up here,
really a very extraordinary building.
 And the last we visit to Dental Departemen, in here for send a
examination patient use box, the iron box above and looks
moving around to deliver the file. In my country totally do not
have like this, and room dental departemet not large like here, in
my country just small room. And undoubtedly this is a building
with technology that is very extraordinary and with high quality.

learnt on about the differences in my country it turned out to be very much, and it
made me want to be like this hospital, when I was in my country and after

anything process for change or add new tools like here meybe will need a long time
you would because goverment here and my country is very different.

Complaints understood and had experienced it maybe because he was busy and very
tired, but he still gave information and introduced us to all the tools they
used in the room was very good, and we were grateful for that, the room
was almost the same as a hotel, a fully equipped and high-tech room.
I really enjoyed all of my experiences at CCH, about all the rooms I
passed. I am very grateful to be able to come and explore a lot of
information here. I got a lot of new knowledge here, about the tools used,
nursing services, medical services, technology which in my opinion are
very extraordinary and very different from what is in our country. and
many tools that are indeed very high in price and they have many tools

service because it also provides the best service for patients, the only
and difference is what we use to serve, the facilities available are not as
feedback complete and not very high technology as here. and I am very proud that I
on the can come here like a health worker at CCH because we also use the same

doctors and all who have shared their knowledge with us even in the
training
midst of their busy life. This shows that they are professional health
courses.

work in this place besides the high-tech tools and facilities, the salary that
I get is also not small or can be said to be very much compared to our
country, maybe because of currency differences or other things that make
