COMMANDMENTS

   The definition ofa commandment in the bible is a rule that must be


obeyed, especially one handed down by God. While in Judaism refers to
 
a commandment commanded by God to be performed as a religious duty.
 

   Monotheism is the belief in a single all-powerful god, as opposed to


religions that believe in multiple gods. Judaism, Christianity are widely
MONOTHEISM
practiced forms of monotheism.
 

   In Christianity, God is the eternal being who created and preserves all


things. Christians believe God to be both transcendent wholly
 GOD
independent of, and removed from, the material universe and involved in
  the world. In Judaism, God has been conceived in a variety of ways. But
basically, we do have the same God.
 

   
 YOM KIPPUR In Christian Bible, it is a holy day on the 10th day of the 7th month as the
  day of atonement for sins. It calls it the Sabbath of Sabbaths and a
day upon which one must afflict one's soul.
 

   Holiness is living in communication with God and others.


Holiness comes from God alone, so people and things can only be Holy if
 HOLINESS
they're related to God.
 

   In Christianity it means, conforming to the Christian faith as


 ORTHODOXY represented in the creeds of the early Church.
 

   In Christianity, it is a solemn agreement between the members of a


church to act together in harmony with the precepts of the gospel. While
 COVENANT
in Judaism the word covenant was linked with the word Judaism which
  means that Covenant Judaism is a type of Judaism.
 

   In Judaism, it is a Jewish house of worship, often having facilities for


religious instruction. While Christians define synagogue as the house of
SYNAGOGUE 
study.
 

   In Christianity, Jesus is identified as the Messiah and is called Christ. In


Judaism, it refers specifically to a future Jewish king from the Davidic
  MESSIAH line, who is expected to save the Jewish nation, and will be anointed with
 
holy anointing oil and rule the Jewish people.

   The word “prophet” generally suggests one who predicts or foretells the
future, and this is one function of the Hebrew prophets. In Christianity,
 PROPHET
they are the chosen one to speak or to talk with God.
