Neycer Indian Limited formerly known as naively ceramics and refractoriness limited

was promoted by south madras. Industrial development company private limited an affiliate

of sashayed brothers (pvt) limited. The company was incorporated on 12 th may 1960. The

project was established with a licensed capacity to manufacture 2800 tones of sanitary ware

per annum. The technical collaboration fir this venture was provided by M/s. Elemental

Baykermikvertibs GMB (KERAMAG) of West Germany. The project was completed in

October 1965. The production plant was steadily increased and the rated capacity of 1800

tons per annum reached in 1967.

Company’s vision

The vision statement announced by the management in 1999 is given below.

To provide home interior products of global standards to make the home in to a place
wants to be in.

Neycer brand name:

The brand name of the product manufactured by the company Neycer due to long

existence of the company and manufacturing and marketing the product with consistent

quality. The Neycer brand name has becomes the house hold name in our country.

Neycer tiles:

With the setting up of Neycer ceramic tiles plant in Pondicherry in 1968 the customer

has got the advantage of getting both the sanitary ware and tiles from one source of their

according to choice.

Spartech take over:

 During 1998 the Neycer management came under Spartech group the pioneers in the

ceramic titles manufacturing in Indian after this company faced lot of problems there were

ambitious programmers contemplated to modernization of the plant to achieve better

productivity and the best quality to meet the market requirements.

Growth and expansion:

 The company after availing the technical services from M/s Bombay Potteries and

tiles limited Bombay increased its installed capacity from 1800 tons to 3000 tons per

annum at further capital outlay.

 In April 1974 the agreement with M/s Bombay Potteries and tiles limited was

terminated as the company had acquired the required skill and experience from

running the plant on their own strength.

 In April 1979 the company future programmed to increase the installed capacity from

4200 tons per annum to 4800 tons per annum.

 By having another stranger of expansion after 1980 the capacity of plant was

increased to 7500 tanners from 4800 tons with further expansion during 1987 the

capacity of plant were increased from 7500 tons to 9000 tons.
