COURSE PLAN
AIM
To transfer the knowledge of process dynamics and control and use that for controlling real
time systems.
OBJECTIVES
i. To expose the students to the concepts of process dynamics
ii. To provide adequate knowledge about different types of controllers
iii. To teach about the concept of controller tuning and evaluation criteria for
control
systems
iv. To provide comprehensive knowledge of advanced controllers like multi
loop
controllers
v. To provide adequate knowledge of design of controllers for real time
systems.
