ATD Machinery recently developed the
fastest natural wrapper overrolling ma-
chine: MID-S 100.
It is based on the very successful MID-S
machine. The base and most parts of the
MID-S 100 are constructed in stainless
steel. The new MID-S 100 is upgraded
to the best ergonomical and safety
standards and has a very modern design
with clear accessibility for easy cleaning.
Furthermore the noise level is reduced
and it is equipped with a state of the art
15” touch screen.

But most important, the stability improved
and the output increased with innovative
solutions such as:
- The use of servo techniques on the roll-
ing device; low speed at needle insert and
speed up during overrolling
- The use of servo techniques at the wrap-
per feeder; more accurate feed
-New leaf carrier arm construction; better
dynamic load of the machine
- Rotating air valve on vacuum; no imbal-
ance in machine

The MID-S 100 is an overrolling machine
that overrolls a natural wrapper around a
rod with homogenized binder at very high
speed. The machine is easy to maintain,
fully protected and has ceramic bearings
in the stainless steel rolling device that en-
sures a very long operating life.
The machine is suited for one cigar model,
but can be rebuild to another model by
changing the format parts. For new models
we can develop the format parts according
to customer specifications.
