1. Different universal banks operating in the Philippines and regulated by the Bangko
Sentral ng Pilipinas.

 BPI (Bank of the Philippine Islands)


- a universal bank and together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, it offers a
wide range of financial products and solutions that serve both retail and corporate
clients. BPI's services include consumer banking and lending, asset management,
payments, insurance, securities brokerage and distribution, foreign exchange,
leasing, and corporate and investment banking.

 BDO Unibank, Inc.


- is a full-service universal bank in the Philippines. It provides a complete array of
industry-leading products and services including Lending (corporate and consumer),
Deposit-taking, Foreign Exchange, Brokering, Trust and Investments, Credit Cards,

gears, motorisation of crafts, construction of ponds and hatcheries. Fisheries

 Rural Bank of Banga (Aklan)


- Set up internal audit program for ban consistent with BSP policies regular audit
of cashiering, loans and accounting reports to board of directors thru the audit
committee. The function of the bank is to promote and expand the rural economy in

 Bataan Cooperative Bank


- Established in 1998 at the city of Balanga, in Bataan. Offer a wide range of loan,
savings and time deposit products.

 Cooperative Bank of Benguet (CBB)


- The Bank started its business operations on October 1, 1992.  After surviving
the trials and challenges of a newly born cooperative bank under the watchful eyes
of Bangko Sentral (formerly Central Bank), Cooperative Bank of Benguet managed to
attain a performance rating that was convincing enough to pass the rigid Bangko
Sentral requirements for branching. CBB decided to seek BSP approval to expand its
services outside Benguet Province and opened its third branch at Rosario, La Union
on June 5, 2008.

 Cooperative Bank of Aurora


- is a savings and loan cooperative. It focuses on savings mobilization and
capital build-up for its members through high rates of return on interest and
savings and time deposits.

 Cooperative Bank of Bohol


- Formerly Cooperative Rural Bank of Bohol, Inc. was organized by 320
Samahang Nayons from the different towns in the Province of Bohol. It is the first
cooperative bank in Region VII. It was registered with the Bureau of Cooperatives
Development on April 24, 1980, confirmed by CDA in 1991 and re-registered in 2010
under Republic Act 9520.

 Cooperative Bank of Cagayan


- Cooperative Bank of Cagayan is one of the oldest and more stable cooperative
banks in the Philippines. It was organized on March 22, 1977 through the initiative of
105 Samahang Nayons and 1 Area Marketing Cooperative - the Kilusang Bayan sa
Pangangalakal ng Cagayan at Kalinga-Apayao, Inc. After the issuance of its Certificate
of Authority from Central Bank of the Philippines in 1979,now the Bangko Sentral ng
Pilipinas,the Cooperative Bank of Cagayan (CBC) formally opened its doors to the
public on September 1, 1979.

 Cooperative bank of Cebu


- Cebu People’s Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CPMPC) or People’s Coop as it is
widely known was organized by the Scarborough fathers in December 21, 1972
through the efforts of VICTO. They provide easy access to competitive financial
services, appropriate technology and resources that satisfy the needs of the
members, employees, community and care for the environment.

 Cooperative Bank of Mt. Province


- was established by the authority of the BSP and duly registered with CDA to
serve cooperatives and the public. It was registered with the CDA on Sep. 8, 1995
and started its operation on Oct. 2, 1995.

 Mindanao Consolidated Cooperative Bank


-  was born out of the consolidation of three cooperative rural banks operating in
the mindanao – the Bukidnon Cooperative Bank (BCB), the Cooperative Bank of
Agusan del Norte (COBAN), and the Cooperative Bank of Misamis Oriental (CBMO)
which is the lead bank. MCCB officially started operating as a consolidated entity in
June 2017.

 Cooperative Bank of Negros Oriental

 Cooperative Bank of Palawan


– a prime cooperative bank in the Philippines. They commit to uplift the lives of
