The last few days have been wonderful to watch, as the newly minted Republican Majority in

the U.S. House of Representatives stood up to Barack Obama and his unending desire to pile
mountains of debt on future generations.

You should be very proud. Thanks to your leadership, the New York State Conservative Party
helped send six newly minted Republican Representatives to Washington to be part of that
Majority.

Now, that Majority is more important than ever.

Federal spending is out of control. Americans send too much of their hard earned money
to Washington, only to see it wasted on bailouts for bad actors, failed stimulus programs
and outrageous earmarks, while our nation and our state continue to be mired in a stubborn
recession.

While history is being made in Washington, it is unfortunate that the recent vacancy in New
York’s 26th District denies Western New York a strong voice as Congress deliberates on key
initiatives that are designed to turn our nation around.

That is why I am running for Congress to fill this vacancy. Western New York needs the right
leader with the right track record to keep its conservative voice in Congress. I am proud to have
been endorsed by the Republican Party because of my private sector experience, my Assembly
record, and my willingness to do what it takes to win.

Respectfully, I request your support and the endorsement of the Conservative Party.

As someone who has worked in both the private and public sectors, I believe I bring a unique
set of skills for both representing the residents of the 26th and working with our House
Republicans.

For thirty-six years, I was part of a family business which began in my parents’ garage and grew
to almost 700 employees by the time it was sold in 2004. It was in business that I learned just
how destructive government can be to small businesses trying to create jobs.

It’s also why I chose to enter public life in 2008 as a candidate for the New York Assembly.
I entered the Republican Primary with the backing of the Conservative Party and won that
Primary and the General Election.

During my short time in Albany, I’m proud of the fact that I have been ranked second in the
entire Assembly in both the 2009 and 2010 NYS Conservative Party ratings.

As a member of Congress you can expect the same record. My priorities will be to slash
wasteful federal spending, set our nation on a path to a balanced budget, end bailouts for bad
business decisions, take leftover money from the Obama stimulus package to pay down the
deficit, and repeal Obamacare.

I will also rely on my business experience when it comes to creating jobs in New York. Ending
burdensome regulations, repealing Obamacare and cutting taxes that inhibit job growth will be
my focus.

Thanks to the Republican House Majority you helped create, we are watching history in the
making. We need to keep that momentum from November going forward, and that is why I am
asking for your support to become the Conservative Party’s nominee for the 26th Congressional
District Special Election.
