1985-Present Freelance writer, focusing on music, arts, culture, entertainment and travel.
Publications include: Artvoice, Buffalo Spree, Arts in Buffalo,
Blue Dog Press, Buffalo Beat, Buffalo Night-Life, Buffalo Backstage and Sacred Cow.
Most recent story was a front-page interview with musician Peter Case for the August 12,
2010, edition of Artvoice.
2002-Present Editor and main writer, BuffaloRoots.com website, dedicated to Americana
and Roots Rock oriented music, as well as original Buffalo/Western New York music,
and writer of the http://Buffaloroots.blogspot.com blog.
1994-Present Member, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center. Served as a voting member at
annual meetings. Contributed two small pieces to the retrospective book "Consider the
Alternatives: 20 Years of Contemporary Arts at Hallwalls," edited by Ron Ehmke and
Elizabeth Licata.
