Note: If your camera is already connected, please close any application that
might be using the camera. Camera applications must remain closed during
the firmware update process.

2 Verify if the camera is connected successfully by opening “Device Manager”

(Click “Start” and search for “Device Manager” or open Device Manager
from “Control Panel”) and expand the “Cameras” section:

You should see a camera listed under the “Cameras” section named
“Webcam” as shown below.

3 Next, open and/or extract the files from the “A05020 - CODi Webcam
1080p Auto Focus.zip” file

4 Open the directory location you extracted the files to, and open the
“SFWriteTool_AllIC_v2034g.exe” application
5 Once the application is open, make sure your Webcam is listed and selected
under “Device” (see section A. in the below screenshot)

Then click on the ellipsis button (see section B. in the below screenshot) to
select the firmware package to be loaded

6 Next, Select the “SPCA2650+OV5693-1920x1080-30fps-Q60- FM-ZW-

200601-3.bin” file and click “Open”
7 Next, click the “Download” button to start installing the firmware update.

8 While the firmware update is running…

a. **Do not disconnect the camera from your computer** or you

could cause irreparable damage to your camera

b. You may see popup messages from Windows or hear an windows

audio sound while the firmware is being updated, this is expected
behavior

c. You will see status updates in the “Status” section of the application
and a green progress bar under the “Log” message box

9 Once the process has completed, you will see a green “Success” message
displayed in the “Status” section.

Note: This Success message will timeout after a few seconds and disappear
from the “Status” box
10 Once the process has completed, close the
“SFWriteTool_AllIC_v2034g.exe” application and physically disconnect the
camera from the computer and reconnect it before testing.

Note: If you do not disconnect and reconnect the camera after the firmware
process completes, you could experience a programming failure when
opening a camera application, and the above firmware update process
would need to be executed again.

11 After reconnecting your camera to the computer, you may open any
imaging or conference software and use your camera as planned.
