GRAMMAR
SECOND CONDITIONAL

If I had money, I would travel more. If I asked Susan to go out,  she would not accept

Si tuviera dinero, viajaría más. Si le pidiera salir a Susan, ella no aceptaría

SEGUNDO CONDICIONAL

IF CLAUSE  +  SIMPLE PAST  +  SIMPLE CONDITIONAL

If you studied hard, you would pass the exam
(Si estudiaras mucho, aprobarías el examen)

Si el verbo del Pasado Simple es BE, debes utilizar WERE para todas las personas. En el
Condicional Irreal (Unreal Conditional), la forma WAS no se considera gramaticalmente
correcta.

If I were you, I would see a doctor

coma. Observa ambos ejemplos comparados:

If you studied hard,     you would pass the exam

IF CLAUSE                           MAIN CLAUSE

You would pass the exam     if you studied hard

    MAIN CLAUSE                              IF CLAUSE

¡¡ Ejemplos:

If I were you, I wouldn’t cheat on the test.

He would be a basketball player if he were taller.

If we met a famous actor, we would invite him/her for lunch. (Si conociéramos un actor famoso o una
actriz famosa, lo / la invitaríamos a almorzar)

She would be a great mother if she had children.

If I ate more, I wouldn’t be so thin. (Si yo comiera más, no sería tan delgado)

ESO ES TODO !! Y AHORA A PRACTICARLO ...
