Topic : Parts of the Body (Internal Organs)
Meeting : Theme 1/Meeting 1 and 2 Week 3
Time Allocation : 2x35 minutes
Teaching Period : 2 sessions

General Goal (SK)


-. Identifying some inner parts of human body (skeleton, muscles, lungs, heart, stomach and
small intestines)
-. Knowing the function of each organ will help the students to use their parts of the body
wisely.

Learning Outcomes (KD)


-. Recognizing parts of the body, the functions, and the way to take care of them.
-. Identifying the needs of the body to grow healthy and strong (food, water, clothes, air,
healthy environment).
-. Having healthy lifestyle as a habit.

Knowledge
-. Know the different parts in our body.
-. Understand that the skeleton supports the body and gives the body shape.
-. Understand that muscles help us move.
-. Understand that our heart pumps blood carries food, water and oxygen to all parts of our
body.

-. Understand what happen to food after we eat it.
-. Know that a large part of our body is made up of water.

Students will be able to:

-. Describe and explain that skeleton supports the body and gives body shapes.

-. See and realize that God created human body wonderfully that we can see through the
parts in our body and be thankful for it (Psalm 139:16).
-. Use and take care of their body, especially their internal organs, wisely.

Teaching Activities

Lesson 1 and 2 (2x35 minutes)


10 minutes Review/Introduction/Engaging Activity
Teacher plays video of Human Heart, and has a short discussion
about it.

55 minutes Main Activity


 Teacher reviews Parts of the Body (Internal Organs) using
pictures of internal organs and labels of the functions.
 Teacher distributes Science Worksheet 1 (Internal Organs) to
students, and has them to do it.
 Teacher connects students with the spoke person who will
explain about how to maintain a healthy habit along the
pandemic era. (COVID-19 SUPERHERO).

5 minutes Summary or Conclusion


Teacher gives conclusion about Internal Organs and the
functions, and about how to build healthy habits.
