at Oberoi International were asked to pick
one of the UN’s Sustainable Development
Goals and Neel chose Gender Equality. The
project that he did was a short documen-
tary film called “Girls Should Stay At
Home”. This film was subsequently en-
tered into a number of Children’s film fes-
tivals around the world, has garnered rave
reviews and won multiple awards. The lat-
est of which was the San Diego Children’s
Film Festival a couple of days ago. Apart
from this the film won in Accolade Global
Film Competition, Kids First Film Festi-
val - Winner Druk International Film Fes-
tival. Neel also became a finalist in NY
Young Filmmakers Festivals as well as
Boston International Kids Film Festival.
He held semi-finalist positions in Student
Los Angeles Film Festival and CHINH In-
dia Kids Film Festival. In addition to these,
the film has also been selected for exhibi-
tion on the Planet Classroom Network,
which is an online educational channel
beaming to schools around the world.

Food Conservation named Zero Hunger on
