We have included here a variety of potential activities for a two-week period for Music. Students have
about 1.5 hours of Music instruction per week. Select activities (approx. 3-5) to fill this time each week.
Click the blue links to access these. There will be check-ins and sharing by students later about the work
they have completed at this time.
In class for Term One we have been doing the following kinds of activities: singing and acting out songs,
dancing to music, making rhythms with words and sentences as well as learning about new instruments
that students may want to learn one day.
It can be fun to start with a familiar song and end a lesson with a dance!
Please feel free to contact your relevant teacher with any questions.
Please note: some activities in here are also listed as activities for other year levels as they are
appropriate for multiple ages. However, some activities are also different. Students respond to and grow
differently from different activities; see what your student connects with. And most of all – have fun!
Thank you,
Adrian and Ellen
