I am a buy and seller of various products and household items and garments. This is my
personal job for three years. My business is online transaction. I have two years of experience
in networking business with direct selling company. May 2 years experiences in hospitality have
taught me a great deal about dealing with customers. I have developed strong problem solving,
honed my ability to manage conflict and deal with demanding individual and polished my
communication skills. I am keen to utilize my passion for excellent customer service in providing
the best possible experience for your retail clients.

Are you familiar with this company/business/organization?

Of course, I find that your company has been business for over seventy years. With an excellent
reputation employee, stakeholders and the management. They achieved high levels of
customer satisfaction because of its quality service, quality product, quality people and
technology excellence.

 From my knowledge, your company was established in 1945 in this municipality of Tabaco.

Now, LIBERTY COMMERCIAL CENTER (LCC) is the largest branches Malls, Supermarket


and expressmart not only in Tabaco but also in Bicol region. The leading commercial
establishment in Bicol Region and a growing distributor, retailer, and wholesaler of supermarket
department store items. They create more jobs and develop commercial complexes that will
offer consumers a wider choice of products, enhanced customer services and modern facilities
in retailing. As a retail store operator, your company has numerous popular brands that have a
high degree of trust and credibility among the customers.

I'm really impressed by your company's values and mission statement. I find that many of the
things that are important to this company are also important to me. I have always admired the
way that this company has had such a strong focus on delivering top-quality customer service.

How did you learn about this company business organization?

First, knowing the company or business that I apply. Second, understand the business or
company back ground. Third, find out what their business and product are selling. Fourth, what
they need in an employee and what position they are looking for and analyze it.

Why do you want this job?

“I enjoy interacting with customers and my last job took me a bit away from that. I’m looking to
find a role that will let me get back to the direct customer interaction that I enjoy so much. I took
a look at the job description before coming in and it seems like this role involves a lot of
customer-facing work. I was excited because that’s strength of mine and I think that not only
would this position fit what I’m targeting, but it would also allow me to come in and have an
immediate impact and make the best use of my skills.”

and balance personal life and work life.

ng ekonomiya at makakatulong sa mga magulang. Nakakapagpaunlad ito ng kakayahan at mga
abilidad ng isang tao na naiaambag niya sa kaunlaran ng lipunan at upang makapamuhay ng
marangal at matiwasay. Maaring maging dahilan ito upang magbigay tulong sa kapwa.

What is the meaning of the good life is to be earned with hard work
and sacrifice

The proverb means that it is not easy to achieve our ambition or good life. It requires sacrifice
and skill to work long hours.

What do you think the proverb says about finding and keeping a job?

It is not easy or just a joke to find and stay at work. You will need skill and a lot of sacrifice.

Think of time in your life when you worked hard for something write

When I started working at the age of 16 because of the hardships of life. I stopped studying first
to help my parents. And so I can help my sisters and brother to continue their schooling as well.
At a young age I was randomly working I entered as a maid and saleswoman in a small store. I
worked here in Bicol until I going to Manila due to high wages. I helped my parents with their
daily expenses, my sisters and brother education and to continue the construction of our house.
Because of my sacrifice I was so happy I helped my parents and my brother. I am happy and
that’s I learn everything will possible if you just wok hard on it.

I was enjoying hard work I find happiness and joy in it. And I believe, without a doubt in my
mind, those who feel the most fulfilled at the end of their lives are those who have chosen to
work hard during it.

Working hard for something we love is called passion. The harder you work for something the
greater you’ll feel when you achieve it.

I worked hard to be successful someday so I can have better life. Because i want to be
successful.

Napagtanto ko na hindi naman pala mahirap gumawa nang isang bio-data subalit may
kahirapan ang gumawa ng application letter lalo naa at hindi ako masyadong bihisa sa wikang
English. Nakakababa sa una pero napaglaban ko rin ang aking nerbyos matapos ang tatalong
ulit na mock job interview. Nag enjoy ako sa pagsasagawa nang isang informal interview kahit
nakakababa ito sa unang pagkakataon. Gayunman, marami akong natutunan sa gawaing ito
dahil naranasan ko kung ano pakiramdam ng isang tagapanayam. Nakakalap din ako ng
maraming impormasyon tungkol sa trabahong nais kung tahakin sa hinaharap. Nakakuha rin
ako ng mga payo mula sa isang taong ito ang trabaho. Dahil sa kanya, nalaman ko kung anu-
ano ang dapat taglaying edukasyon, kasanayan, at karanasan ng isang sa ganitong trabaho
maliban pa sa kung anong pag- uugali at pagkilos ang pinapahalagahan ng isang kumpanya sa
isang trabahador. Nalaman ko rin n dapat akong maging kalma habang kumakapanayam at
pagbutihin pa ang aking kasanayan sa pakikipagtalastasan.

Halimbawa, makatanggap ka ng oral warning sa unang pagkakataon kapag hindi mo
nasunod ang kautusan tungkol sa paggamit ng cellphone.
4. Tuwing ikatlong buwan ay nakakatanggap ng regular na assessment report ang isang
kawani. Gayunman, nakakatanggap din ng papuri o hindi magandang puna ang isang
empleyado sa oras mismo ng pangyayari o ilang araw pagkatapos nito. Nagbibigay rin

Grace lost her job because she was always late for work. The supervisor noticed that he was

Do you think the supervisor made the right decision to fire Grace? Why or why not?

The supervisor made the right decision because grace had already been given warnings about
her non-compliance with company rules.

Is it important to keep work and family life separate? How does one do this?

It is important to separate work and family life as much as possible. This can be done to a staff
member by discussing and explaining to family members the rules of the company employed to
limit communication in emergencies or sudden events or at snack time only. The employee may
also discard or temporarily forget family issues or problems during work hours so that it does not
affect his or her office work.

What could have Grace done differently so that she would not have lost her job?

Grace would not have lost her job if after the second notification she was always ahead of her
time of entry so as not to be late. He may also move or reside or live in an area closer to his
place of employment. About his problem with his aunt, he should not have given it importance
during work hours or he would have resolved it first. Grace should also explain to her family
members or relatives the rules or regulations of their company. He should have listened
carefully to his supervisor about working hours and the seriousness of its warnings.

SCENARIO B

What happened in the scenario and why?

Mario became frustrated at work and did not talk about it to his supervisor. He grumbled his co-
workers and then ignored the advice of his supervisor. Mario was not accepting new ideas ,
didn’t respect his new supervisor and stormed away in anger.

What behaviors and attitudes led Mario to his state of anger?

He is not willing to accept new ideas, guidance and methods from others. He didn’t respect his
supervisor and he does not know how to express the problem to the person involved.

Do you think Mario could have handled it differently? How?

I think Mario would have changed the situation if:

He could have tried to communicate better with his supervisor by asking questions about the
cutting of the wood and sharing his ideas or discussing its proposal and giving his position or
perspective; and he shouldn’t have complained to his co-workers without trying to seek a
solution.

Do you think Mario should lose his job? Why or why not/

I think Mario can be fired because it is often written in a company's rules or regulations that a
staff member's disobedience and disrespect to his boss, supervisor or superior is sufficient
reason to be fired. It is important that others do not imitate this behavior.

What can Mario do to improve his relationship with his boss and succeed in his job?

If Mario is given another chance, he will improve his relationship with his boss and be
successful in his job if:

He was often and communicates on a regular basis and openly to his superior, be open-minded
to innovations and perspectives. Receptive and respect other’s opinions and ideas.

I manage my time at work by making a plan so that I can finish the tasks assigned to me and I
have to do that day or week. I prioritize finishing reports with a deadline or must be completed
and submitted on time. I also do not postpone the tasks I can finish that time. Another of my
strategies is to avoid disruptive situations such as phone calls when not needed and internet
that is not included in the work.

Like at work, I manage my time at home with a plan. I will record the important tasks and I have
to finish that day or week. I pay close attention to that schedule so that I do not waste time. I do
not procrastinate the tasks I can finish that day. I also avoid situations that are not as important
as coexistence when not needed.
