ACTYVITY 2:

PICTURE 1
Possible Storyline (2 to 3 sentences only):

Desmond and his wife, Cassandra started their own fast food restaurant they
called, Sweet to Eat. For the past few years their business was going so well
until COVID-19 happened. They were forced to temporarily close their
restaurant to prioritize safety.

Setting (Place and Time):

At the Sweet to Eat, daytime during the pandemic

Give at least 2 characters in the story and brief description of each:

Desmond – a business minded person who wants nothing but to continue


their business.
Cassandra – Desmond’s wife who fears the safety for her and Desmond.

activity or situation on that context:

This story depicts how the pandemic affected Desmond and Cassandra’s
lives. The COVID- 19 changed the way things and ruined people’s lives.

PICTURE 2

Possible Storyline (2 to 3 sentences only):

Bobby and Leo just graduated from Highschool and are now headed for
college. However, their excitement would come to an end when the COVID19
wreak havoc amongst humanity. Bobby and Leo now have to adapt to the
new normal setting in education.

Setting (Place and Time):

At Bobby and Leo’s house, daytime during the pandemic.

Bobby – A recently high school graduate dreaming to go to college.


Leo – Bobby’s brother who also dreams to go to college

This story depicts how the pandemic affected education and forced
government to temporally close educational institutions in an attempt to
reduce the spread of COVID-19.

PICTURE 3:
Possible Storyline (2 to 3 sentences only):

Maria and Johnson had two daughter named Lilian and Rem. Rem being the
eldest and Lilian the youngest. Rem is a teenager who likes to be alone and
spends a lot of her time reading, listening to music and social media, while
Lilian love to spend her time hanging out with her parents and friends. Rem
being the unsocial person that she is, ignores everyone including her
parents.

Setting (Place and Time):

At home, Family time, Nighttime

Rem – a teenager who likes to be alone and spends a lot of her time reading,
listening to music and social media.
Lilian – Rem’s younger sister who is an opposite version of Rem.
Maria – Rem and Lilian’s mother

The moral issue on being unsocial is being intimated in this story.

ACTIVITY 3:
1. If you were Dina’s mother, how would you explain to her the kind
of beliefs the Muslims have and convince her to treat them
politely?

- If I were Dina's mom, I would describe the distinction between


Christianity's values and other ideologies, including Muslims so
that Dina will have a proper understanding of other religion.

2. Do you think it is lawful that his father was being shot and killed?

- the law permitted our law enforcers to kill but, I think they
should always be settled peacefully.

What do you think will be best for Henry and his siblings?

- It is safer for Henry and his siblings to be in social workers care.

Will they still live a normal life? How?

- Yeah, I think they might still live a normal life if they prioritize
education first.

3. What do you think would Gina do to help Monica?

- If I were Gina, I would let Monica know about the outside world
and let her experience the feeling of talking to real people.

Do you believe that social media help strengthen people’s


relationship with other?

- I believe that with proper use of social media, we can build life
lasting relationship with anyone.
