1. Assemble Pocket: 4. Assemble Outer/Main Fabric:

• Place fabric right sides together, stitch together leaving a
3” opening on one side
• Turn fabric right side out and edge stitch to close the
3” opening
• Attach zipper to the long side of pocket
• Zipper Pocket is complete!
2. Assemble D-Ring Attachment Loop:
• Measure 2” x 4” piece of fabric
• Fold in half and iron
• Open and fold each outer edge towards the crease
• Fold once more, to finish with a tab piece that measures
1” wide x 2” length
3. Assemble Lining:
• Fold and iron down ?” of the upper fabric edge
• Adhere fusible fleece to the lining piece
• Measure 1” down from the center of each lining piece,
and mark.
• Insert the magnetic closure at each 1” marking
• Place fabric right-sides together, stitch ? around
leaving an opening at the top
• Fold and iron down ?” of the upper fabric edge
• Attach the outer upper fabric addition to outer/main
fabric panel; Place right sides together and sew
• Adhere interfacing to outer/main fabric and the attached
upper addition
• Place fabric right-sides together, stitch ? around leaving
an opening at the top
• On the final long edge, insert the loop tab and D-ring at
the top corner, secure, and stitch.
5. Put It All Together
• Turn lining right side out (so that the magnets won’t
clasp together) and insert your outer fabric into the
lining. Both fabrics should have wrong sides together.
• Edge stitch along the top to attach the two pieces
together.
• Turn the fabric so that the main/outer fabric is on
the outside
