plane before I realized I wasted my money. With a two hour

On a side note, while waiting for my change the cashier

turned to correct one of the other staff members. She was

rolled her eyes and shrugged off. Clearly things are falling
through the cracks. I wish I had stopped somewhere else.

408 friends Awful, even for airport food, and without bringing their
721 reviews exorbitant prices into the discussion. The seemingly simple
act of trying to grab a pre-made sandwich for eating in-flight
really shouldn't be this complicated.

Purchased was a Tuscan Sandwich and 20 oz. bottle of

Diet Coke for $12.99. The sandwich consisted of a few
slices of processed meat and cheese, together with a bit of
wilted vegetation. This mess was tossed into a horribly
stale ciabatta roll, a relic from 5 years ago which might
actually have been fresh 5 years ago. The sandwich was
then wrapped in enough plastic film and tape to make
opening it in a tight airplane seat a messy ten minute
ordeal.

I suppose that I should consider myself fortunate that

Brioche Doree hadn't figured out a way to laminate the
bottle of Diet Coke.

Brioche Doree is yet another "HMS Host" airport

concession. This company, in my experiences, has
singularly made airport food horrific from coast to coast.

55 friends Don't know if there's much utility in writing a review for an
49 reviews airport restaurant - people are going to eat whatever
happens to be available - but it's worth commenting on the
remarkably bad service at this place (which was actually
the K corridor location). After yelling at customers who
apparently were lining up in the wrong direction, the girl at
the register (Lakesha) very brusquely took our orders; I
actually had to ask her to let me add a second sandwich to
my order, since she gave me the price before I could open
my mouth for the second part of the order. (Incidentally, the
price was an unpleasant surprise, given that sandwich
prices aren't actually posted). We were given no direction
on what to do next, which was apparently to tell someone
else entirely what sandwich we wanted so that it could be
toasted. Turns out that they sold me a sandwich they didn't
even have - there was a different sandwich in that slot - and
when I pointed that out, the woman just stared at me and
shrugged. In the end, I had a lackluster substitute sandwich
that I didn't even want and overall irritating experience.
Starbucks is right across the food court, and I guarantee
that they have better - and cheaper - sandwiches.

0 friends I bought a "grilled chicken" salad with shaved almonds,

found two dead bugs in the salad and stopped eating it.

It was also sketchy that their salads come without a sticker

or extra plastic keeping the containers shut. It seems very
easy for outside contaminants to get into their salads.

Next time I'll just get greasy pizza instead of trying to be

Service staff was friendly, but the food was not that great. I
had the chicken dijon sandwich and the chicken was cold.
They ran it through the toaster oven and it didn't get the
chicken warm at all. Whatever, they used the cold
processed chicken patties that you can buy from Costco
and just sliced it up--not even cleanly--you can still tell it's
just stuck together. They reheated it and it still wasn't
warm, but I didn't want to bother complaining again.

My water had an nondescript curly short hair in it. I didn't

drink it, obv.

If I'm in the O'Hare airport again, I'll probably just shoot for
something I'm familiar with instead of going for hot (cold)
foods.

Elite ’16 I ate less than half and tossed the rest. It was about 13
bucks for this sandwich and a milk. It looked and sounded
so yummy. Here are the problems:

1. Baguette. Bread sucked. Dry like death valley. Crumbly.

2. Turkey meat was the processed sliced type.
3. Lower quality Brie.

The ladies were super nice. The sandwich was just terrible.

1818 reviews between the tuna salad croissant sandwich or the Tuscan
Elite ’16 sandwich (ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato on regular bun).
The Tuscan sandwich was only okay. Not really much
flavor and the bun was too much bread. It made me regret
not getting the tuna salad sandwich! At least the croissant
wouldn't have let me down! Cost was about $10. Service
was relatively fast though which was nice since my flight
was about to board in five minutes.

4 friends Hungry daughter and I came here before boarding our
554 reviews connecting flight, early morning on Xmas Eve. The
breakfast items were mostly gone, except for a couple sm
quiches and croissant breakfast sandwiches. My vegetarian
daughter specifically asked if the quiche nearest the
"cheese quiche" sign was vegetarian. The two employees
giggled and said, "yeah, sure!" I asked for a croissant
sandwich. They heated both items up in the microwave.
While waiting I got to watch more croissant sandwiches
being assembled - and it wasn't a pretty sight: bagged,
precooked, un-natural-looking rounds of egg and slices of
"cheese" product.

When we got to our gate to sit and eat, we discovered the

cheese quiche had some diced meat in it. And the croissant
was a tasteless blob. Yuck. With juice, the total was $17.50
- with no time to get a refund.

115 reviews when my belly was growling and I had another 2-hour flight

It was definitely edible but not much else. The turkey was
fine but there were only two slices. The bacon was 90% fat
- and being cold it was gross. The lettuce and tomatoes
were wilted and mushy while one of the bread slices was
stale and hard. They had no condiments to spice it up, and
no napkin either.

I paid a total of $12.46 for a stale turkey sandwich and

bottle of water. That included ''tax'' of (by my calculations)
of 11.45%. Can you say ''complete ripofff''? There are
better choices at Chicago O'Hare.

7 friends It is always important to eat well during a stop over. In this
455 reviews case it was the Chicago airport where I had the pleasure of
stopping by Brioche Doree. A cute sandwich stand, the
service was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, my cheese
sandwich was soggy and off. They tried hard, but it couldn't
deliver. I also had one of their cinni rolls, which was not soft
and chewy. Drinks were quite expensive with a Perrier
water being close to $4.00.

I am sorry, but I can't recommend Brioche Doree.

Take care and enjoy the Chicago Airport.
