I was travelling from Bangalore to Mumbai on 2 nd March, 2020 from Indigo flight 6E 456.

The departure was scheduled at 4:45 AM and the boarding was to start at 4:00 AM. I reached
the boarding gate at 4:10 AM when I realized that my boarding pass was missing.
Immediately I informed the indigo personnel present at the boarding gate. They sent me to
gate no. 6 from gate no. 8 (which was my boarding gate). At gate no.6, I again explained my
scenario to one of the officials of indigo airlines. After hearing me out, the official started
entertaining some other passenger. Considering only 10 minutes were left to board the flight,
every minute was crucial. After a while I had to contact the other official present there and
had to explain everything again. She checked my ticket and asked me to rush to gate no. 13
which was on the upper level. Upon my request to keep my luggage near my boarding gate,
the indigo official asked me to run while carrying my suitcase and backpack with me. After
rushing to gate no. 13, I came to know that there was no one present there. I had to run back
to gate no.8 with all my luggage to ask what has to be done in this regard. There the lady told
me that she had sent someone upstairs and I should’ve waited. She again requested me to run
back to gate no. 13. Throughout this incident, I was constantly requesting them to keep the
boarding gate open which they were completely ignoring. I had to again run back to the upper
level. After all the verification, the indigo official reprinted my boarding pass after which we
rushed to security check. Upon completing all the formalities and clearing security check, the
indigo personnel and I started running towards the gate. While running towards the gate, the
indigo person asked the other official whether to consider my boarding or not, to which he
got a reply on his walkie-talkie to ignore my boarding. After this, I was asked to go to the
reservation counter where they will look into the matter. Upon reaching the reservation
counter, the lady was not willing to cooperate with me. I asked why was there no one at gate
no. 13 the first time when I went there, to which she rudely replied that people are busy and it
is not possible for someone to be present there all the time. It clearly shows that it was
because of the inefficiency of indigo staff that I missed my flight as it was just a matter of
few minutes which could have been avoided only if there was someone present at gate no. 13
at the first time. I again asked them to accommodate me and again she rudely said that buy
another ticket if I want and not waste her time and let other passenger come ahead.
