Conversation 1
Practice the conversation with your friend,
Jack : Excuse me. I’m your new neighbor, Jack. I just moved in.
Woman : Oh. Yes?
Jack : I’m looking for a grocery store. Are there any around here?
Woman : Yes, there are some on Pine Street.
Jack : OK. And is there a Laundromat near here?
Woman : Well, I think there’s one across from the shopping center.
Jack : Thank you.
Woman : By the way, there’s a barber shop in the shopping center, too.
Jack : A barber shop?

by the way, is there a good Italian restaurant in the neighborhood?
George : yeah. There’s a great one a couple of blocks from here. Try their lasagna. It’s
delicious.

2. Write your answer on the double folio, scan it and send your task through classwork.
3. Don’t forget to write your name and NPM on the answer sheet.

According to the 7 conversation above, find out seven countable nouns and three uncountable
nouns from the conversation. Make up your own sentences by using those nouns. The
sentences can be singular or plural. Your have to make your own sentences without using the
same topics of the conversation above. It is not accepted if you have the same sentences
with your friends.
