Pradeep is a business aware legal professional, with over 15 years’ post qualification
experience consultancy roles across different industries having significant exposure in
providing counsel to balance operations needs against business risks. Have spent
nearly twelve (12) years in the Oil & Gas sector, as a qua legal and business
development consultant, First with Aramco Asia India Pvt. Ltd. Gurugram India in capacity as an
external consultant (domain of Governmental Affairs) and second with Development Alternatives, India
(an environmental research charter) as a consultant (domain Recycling Oil Waste).

His key strengths viz-a-vie the Oil, Gas and Petroleum industry, encompass

• Cogent Legal analysis rendering practical solutions. The resultant

• Engagement with cross-functional teams involving business

management, sales & commercial, finance, treasury & tax and

• Front-ending critical negotiations involving Lump sum turnkey [LSTK /

Turnkey ] contracts involving significant legal / operational exposure.

• Experience in managing litigations and arbitrations on a wide range of

issues; actively involved in strategy, research and pleadings, with
timely and productive engagement with external counsels.

• Lead Support to Commercial Organization: advice on procurement

strategy, develop & refine contract structures for unique end-to-end
contracts (seismic to production), advice on disputes and operations
issues on ongoing projects;

• Policy and Process improvement for Procurement & Supply Chain

Management – standardization of contracting templates (oilfield
services & products, drilling rig, consulting, manpower etc.), BG
policy, Financial Evaluation policy & PCG requirements, risk
management

• Over passage of time, the incumbent has enriched himself with

valuable experience in handling Arbitration, Negotiations, Corporate
Advisory matters, drafting/vetting of JV Agreements, Share Holder's
Agreement, MOUs, NDA, License Agreement, Policy vetting and have
rendered legal opinion to the various Functional Groups on need basis.
