• Process Changes
– Parallel Ledgers with multiple currencies only solution in S4 and
simplified and also made user friendly
– Previous version of Classic Fixed Assets is not available
– Multiple periods can be posted with in a “Year” and System
automatically performs catch-up or true-up depreciation
– Data is always posted into Parallel Ledger Groups based on
associated depreciation areas.
– At subledger level system posts to a technical asset account with
self balancing entry
– APC is always updated real-time ( no periodic updates available
)

• Technical Landscape Changes

– Multiple Fixed Assets tables were removed and merged into
ACDOCA Table
• ANEK, ANEP, ANEA, ANLP, ANLC tables removed and simplified data
structure
– Multiple Depreciation Postings Transactions were simplified into
one structure
– Fiscal Year Change program (AJRW) no longer required – and
GL Balance Carry forward FAGLGVTR y default
– Data Load Program changed and simplified – with ABLDT ,
makes entry into new Table - ACDOCA
