M. Malnar and N. AODV vs AODV-ETX in VANET using ETX metric can improve reliability for packet delivery of AODV. Packet loss

dense network overhead is highly increased
B. Amina and E. VANET routing protocol using Performance of OLSR is best in PDR and throughput. Whereas GPSR and GPCR

RESEARCH OBJECTIVE
• to compare the performance of the AODV Routing Protocol and its modification in the form of AODV +
ETX and AODV + ETX with MRT and ART equal 80s which is applied in autonomous intelligent cars in
the Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) through Network Simulator 3

• to optimize AODV Routing Type by manipulating metrics to select the route based on the closest HOP
to achieve goals effectively and efficiently

• to test / validate the research performance using network simulator 3 to model autonomous car
movements using the best route to the destination by utilizing the reactive routing protocols AODV,
AODV + ETX, AODV + ETX with MRT and ART equal 80s

• to analyze and conclude simulation performance of the AODV routing protocol and its modification in
the form of AODV + ETX and AODV + ETX with MRT and ART equal 80s for Optimizing V2V
