JARVIS FINGERPRINT MOTOR STARTER

This Jarvis fingerprint motor starter was made with the aim of digitizing the existing
system on a motorcycle. In addition, the use of fingerprints in motorbike starters can
minimize the occurrence of curanmor that often occurs when the motorbike is parked in the
front yard of the house or in a location far from our sight.

In this tool, the sensor used is a fingerprint sensor which is designed to be very easy
and simple to assemble in an electrical motorbike. The concept of SIPOC will be described in
the process flow in the image below.

In the above process, this project uses the Arduino program which functions as a
sensor control and the motor time settings will be turned on and off. When the tool is
installed on the motorcycle and our fingers touch the sensor for 2 seconds, the motorbike will
turn on when the contact is ON, if our fingers press the fingerprint sensor 1 more time for 2
seconds, the motor will turn on automatically because the sensor and module are connected
with motor starter. Then what if we have finished using the motorbike? the way is quite easy,
we just need to stick our fingers programmed in Arduino to the fingerprint sensor for 2
seconds. Then the motor will automatically turn off and the contacts switch off. Below is the
placement of the Jarvis fingerprint sensor on the Honda Scoopy ESP injection motorbike.

This tool is designed using tools and materials that are very environmentally friendly
and are very suitable for climatic conditions in Indonesia. The tool that I made only has 2
contact outputs, where one contact is for the ignition on and the other is to the starter button
or the line connected to the starter relay. If the motor contacts of other users have a lot of
cables, then you will need an additional relay to make this system work.
Can it be applied to other motorbikes? Very possible, as long as we understand how to
install it. As I explained in the installation image below, users who still don't understand will
be facilitated by instructions for installing the Jarvis fingerprint sensor. Broadly speaking, the
use of this fingerprint sensor can be varied according to the owner's wishes. Vehicle owners
can add a solenoid valve so that the fingerprint sensor requires the motor handlebar. You can
also reset sound settings, idle time processing time and start the motor by practically
changing the coding on the Arduino.

As you know, the fingerprint sensor still has a drawback, which is that it cannot be
exposed to water. Even though the sensor is expensive, the sensor is definitely not resistant to
water. The next corrective step implemented so that the Jarvis fingerprint sensor is durable
and long lasting is to add a sensor housing that is installed on the motorcycle. This sensor
house functions so that the sensor is not exposed to water when the motorbike is being
washed or is exposed to rain water. This sensor also needs to be equipped with alarm input on
the Arduino coding, where when a user who is not registered with a fingerprint is on the
Arduino coding, the system will immediately provide these requirements to sound the
motorcyle horn to see from the direction the motor is being tried by others.
