Formative Assessment #2

Paneda, John Angelo D. February 15, 2021

The transformation of science into direct and indirect social changes according to science
in the teachings of Yuval Harari. I will describe based on my understanding what has happened
to how science is changing in the present time with the help of expanding the various
development of strengths and weaknesses of science and technology. Second is the effect of the
social revolution on progressive advances in research and technology. Lastly, the importance of
investigating historical trends during the science revolution.
The strength that helps to develop the sciences are it will make our life easier with the
help of research, experiments, etc., another of these is the power of science that helps us to
organize our daily, livelihood and activities in life. The development of science from the
technology helps the task that can be done faster than the usual things, and it helps us to
communicate more easily with others with the help of gadgets and other equipment, and with
ultimately it helps us to know and understand other cultures and societies by the help of the
science. The weaknesses of science are to understand some things like for examples the
technology butts’ heads with theology, questions of religion naturally clash with research efforts,
and science raises major philosophical dilemmas. Scientific innovation is mind-blowing and
terrifying. Science appears to place exploration above all else, risking our well-being and the
natural universe. That is the discipline's dark side. It seems like, no matter the consequences, it is
a matter of 'growth and exploration at all costs'. Secondly, the implication of social revolution on
radical advancements in Science and technology is the scientific revolution, emphasizing
systematic experimentation as the most accurate method of research, and this resulted in
advances in mathematics, physics, astronomy, biology, and chemistry. These developments have
changed society's perceptions of nature and how science has changed other people's perceptions
due to the ingenuity of scientists. Lastly, is the importance of studying historical developments
that occurred during the scientific revolution. In science developments have a connection in
mathematics, physics, astronomy, biology, and chemistry emerged from the scientific revolution,
which stressed rigorous experiments as the most legitimate research tool. These advances have
transformed society's views on nature. Any research approach aims to solve a problem or to
better explain an occurrence that has been witnessed.
