Movie Predict

Effect
The magician shows a prediction and a pack of cards with
different numbers from 1 to 10. The spectator freely pick
one of them. The spectator can even take the cards, mix
them and let an other spectator pick one of them. Let's
imagin he chose the card with the number 3. Now, the
magician takes a program from a cinema and he counts
untill the 3rd movie.

The third movie on the program is Scarface.

The prediction is open and there is the poster of

Scarface!!!

Explanation

This effect is very simple to do but with it you will have a

killer trick with a huge impact on the public!

This trick can be performed on a table or on stage. The

method used is the same, only the prediction change: on
stage you need a big poster of the movie for example.

So, if the cards are totally regular, no duplicates, no force,

how does it works?

What you need

- Cards with numbers from 1 to 10
- A poster for the prediction
- 10 differents programs (see at the end)

The method is simple, but "Cataclysm" or "trilogy" are too.

What is the most important: the method or the impact ?

As you can see, the forced movie (in this case Scarface) is
on a different position on all the programs:

On the program #1 Scarface is the first.

On the program #2 Scarface is the second.
[...]

You put the programs in your pockets in the order you

want but you have to remember wich one is where
because you have to be sure of you and take out directly
the good one.

I use this order :

Ideas
You can also add a real cinema ticket for the prediction in
this case you can ask the spectator the hour of the
movie... and it match with the prediction too! a double
killer effect.
