1. LICENSE GRANT. Steven Greenberg ("the AUTHOR") grants you a non-exclusive a
nd non-transferable license to reproduce and use the SOFTWARE for personal or in
ternal business purposes. The SOFTWARE refers to the GSpot executable file itself
as well as all related data, text and other files contained in the GSpot distri
bution package. This license does not entitle you to receive from AUTHOR hard-co
py documentation, technical support, telephone assistance, or enhancements or up
dates to the SOFTWARE.
2. OWNERSHIP. The SOFTWARE is owned and copyrighted by the AUTHOR. Your licens
e confers no title or ownership in the SOFTWARE and should not be construed as a
sale of any right in the SOFTWARE.
3. COPYRIGHT. The SOFTWARE is protected by United States copyright law and inte
rnational treaty provisions. You acknowledge that no title to the intellectual p
roperty in the SOFTWARE is transferred to you. You agree that any copies of the
SOFTWARE you create will contain the same proprietary notices which appear on an
d in the SOFTWARE.
4. DISTRIBUTION.
a) You may distribute an unlimited number of exact, unmodified, individual copie
s of the SOFTWARE to anyone you wish, in accordance with this agreement, by maki
ng such copies available for download (e.g., via the Internet, on-line services,
bulletin boards, etc.).
b) Distribution (other than single copy) via removable storage or other physical
media (e.g., floppy disks, CD-ROMs, etc.) requires the express permission of th
e AUTHOR. This includes, but is not limited to, shareware and freeware collectio
n disks, disks distributed with published magazines, etc.
c) Regardless of the method of distribution, you are specifically prohibited fro
m charging or requesting donations for any such copies, and from distributing th
e SOFTWARE bundled with other hardware or software products, commercial or other
wise, without first obtaining written permission from the AUTHOR.
5. REVERSE ENGINEERING. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble
the SOFTWARE. You may not modify, rent or resell for profit the SOFTWARE. You m
ay not remove any copyright notices from the SOFTWARE. You may not create deriv
ative works based upon the SOFTWARE, including but not limited to modification o
f the SOFTWARE's text to other languages, without the permission of the AUTHOR.
6. SEVERABILITY. In the event of invalidity of any provision of this license, t
he parties agree that such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remai
ning portions of this license.
7. EXCLUSION OF OTHER WARRANTIES. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, THE SOFTWARE IS PRO
VIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ANY KIND INCLUDING WARR
ANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NONINFRINGEMENT, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMA
GES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTI
ON, OR LOST INFORMATION) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTW
ARE, EVEN IF THE AUTHOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This is the entire agreement between you and the AUTHOR wh
ich supersedes any prior agreement or understanding, whether written or oral, re
lating to the subject matter of this license.
10. RESERVED RIGHTS. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved to the
AUTHOR.
