WHAT IS A VOICEBOT
A VoiceBot is an intelligent voice-powered assistant that lives on your website
and interacts with 100% of your visitors through personalized, human-like voice
conversations.

As opposed to their human counterparts, VoiceBots are available 24/7, fully


customizable and trained to provide accurate and relevant answers to your
company’s most frequently asked questions about your products/services.

HOW TO USE ROBIN, VOIQ’S
VOICEBOT
Our VoiceBot is always located on the bottom right corner of any page in
voiq.com.

Click on the microphone to turn ON Robin.

Robin will ask you to give your name. This personalizes the conversation, and
allows our team to follow up in case the conversation is dropped suddenly.

If this is your first time visiting our website, you may need to allow microphone
access in the Control Settings, in order to talk to Robin.
CONTROL SETTINGS

Throughout the conversation with Robin you’ll have access to the following
controls: wake up word, mic test and conversation reset.

1. You can start a conversation with Robin at any point while navigating
voiq.com, by using Robin’s wake up word: “Hi Robin”. Click on this icon
to enable/disable Robin’s wake up word.

2. In order to have a conversation with Robin, you will need to allow mic access.
Click on this icon to test your microphone to make sure Robin can fully
understand what you want to say.

3. Click on this icon to reset any previous conversations with Robin.


START A CONVERSATION WITH ROBIN

Similar to Alexa or Siri, you can say “Hi, Robin” or click on the mic button at
the bottom of the VoiceBot frame to start a conversation.

LISTENING MODE

You will hear a “ding” which means that Robin is “listening” and you can ask a
question.

Note: Robin is trained to answer our most common questions regarding


VoiceBots for Websites.

SPEAKING MODE

As soon as you finish with your question, Robin will change to “Speaking” and
give you the answer.

Note: You can stop the conversation by saying “Robin, stop” or by simply
clicking on the mic button.
TRANSCRIPTIONS

Every conversation with Robin is transcribed in real-time in case you need to


visualize the answers provided or scroll up and down to revisit the full
conversation.

BOOKING A DEMO

At any time during the conversation you can book a demo by asking or telling
Robin, for example: “I want to schedule a demo”.

Click on the BOOK A DEMO button at the top of the frame to connect with one
of our sales reps.

Based on your questions and answers, Robin will also suggest that you take
certain actions, such as booking a demo with one of our sales representatives.

WEBSITE NAVIGATION (VIA VOICE)

Robin can also guide you through VOIQ’s website. If you’re looking for a specific
page or topic, Robin can pull up the page with the information you’re
looking for.

In the example below, Robin takes a visitor to the pricing page of our VoiceBots
for Websites.

You can also ask Robin to take you to a specific page via a simple voice
command, like: “Robin, show me your blog”.
