Any organisation is made up of individuals and its effectiveness relies largely on the soft

skills trainings of human resources and the form of partnership they may create. Human
resources is also a major element of every company and the nature of it has a significant
effect on the outcomes that the company will achieve. This exists in both service and
production industries (Tobin, 2006), while the performance of the company is also, of course,
dependent on the variety of products and methods used to produce the product in the latter
companies (Elderdge Brad, 2006). In the past, production firms of some kind of
manufactured product have been largely concerned with the technological aspects of their
manufacturing, with respect to methodologies, processes, machinery, materials, respectively.,
and have sought to select professionally trained and qualified workers to perform the tasks for
which they have been employed. This perspective has now shifted and staff are taken into
consideration a core factor not only for their ability to execute a specific task, but also for
their transversal abilities, also known as Soft Skills, in specific.

The word Soft Skills is being used to describe any skills that are not specifically related to a
particular task; in either capacity, they are important because they largely relate to the
interactions with other people participating with the organisation. For eg, Soft Skill is the
willingness of a person to cooperate with colleagues working in a department (Pauw K,
Bhorat H, Goga S, Ncube L, and Van derWesthuizen C, 2006). In just about any industrial
enterprise, soft skills are then considering an important factor and they merit high
consideration from the human resource management, not just in the recruiting process and
also during the entire working career of workers. In terms of the quality of the goods, the
organisation, the facilities and the lives of the staff, the quality of the business relies heavily
on the soft skills necessary for employment at any level. The efficiency of the human
resources operating in every sector, then the outcomes they will produce, relies primarily on
their soft skills.
