INTRODUCTION

Note - You need to figure out who is the lead? Student? Parents?

● Who are you speaking - Hello Sir / Ma'am, Am I speaking to Rahul’s (Lead Name) Father /
Mother. - Yes / No (Take a NOTE.) - This is Arka calling from ClearExam. (Add some tag may be/
an extra catchy line on ClearExam)

Note - 2 situations are there - Parent know that student attended live webinar: Parent speaking
(best scenario) /Student speaking (do not pitch session to student EVER, just build rapport and
move to parents)

If No (Maximum Possibility) - Give them your elevator pitch. Yes - Ask them what idea they have

RAPPORT BUILDING (Only with PARENTS/as well as with student post that) - If you feel that
parents have an interest in education - speak about the live class attended by the student
where he himself registered for the class. His performance was interactive in the class - If
parents have a fair idea –( Later stage of the call- just briefly mention regarding the Counseling
Session and Optional Enrollment) - Discuss student’s performance, previous years marks,
interest areas (hobbies / extracurricular activities) - Try to find out whether the child has
tuitions: if yes then what need they see in that. Note - The above points will allow starting a
conversation with the parent.

NEED CREATION - Lack of self-study time - Kid’s performance in PCMB - Average / Weak - Try to
find the reason - Excellent - Discuss Olympiads and competitive exams. Discuss the importance
of conceptual learning and how ClearExam’s method of teaching makes a student get prepared
for the board as well as for any competitive Exam associated with science by giving a few
examples. - Discuss the literal/theoretical way of teaching a kid is getting in schools, where the
kid learns the topic just for the sake of exams but is unable to relate with the physical world or
just know the theoretical part properly but whether weak in application part. Discuss the
importance of foundation. Discuss the competitive exams and the difficulty a student faces in
time management and concept clearance etc. Give them the reason. Give them the scenario
of competition & way of preparation of Indian Students.

PITCHING COUNSELLING SESSION (NEVER say home demo or conduction) Note - You need to
relate the need created earlier with the counseling session We are having this One-time
counseling session where some of our ClearExam’s educational Counselor will be providing this
exclusive One to One Counseling sessions to very few students from –Name of the city(Try to
know that from the student while attending the live webinar) – who are interested to pursue
their graduation in Engineering/Medical from Indian Top-notch government colleges IITs, NIT’s,
etc., In the session, our Counsellor will be doing a 1-hour ZOOM session with your child. But sir
we have a condition - Since this is a discussion about your child’s academics we want both of
you (mom & dad) in the zoom session. The session will be divided into three parts - In this
session, we do your kid’s study pattern analysis (SPA) as you know that every student is unique
and they have their unique way of study. Hence our Counsellor will be doing that - sometimes
by taking a short On-s pot Aptitude test. - Based on all these our Counsellors will suggest
innovative ways and methodologies to help improve your child’s performance. The Counsellor
will also be discussing your child's prospects. - The Counsellor will also highlight ways in which
your child can get most of the help from ClearExam as we already discussed. It is an online
tuition/preparation for the student which the student can access at home 24x7. CLOSURE And
after all this discussion if we feel that this personalized guidance will be provided to your child
will be beneficial for his board & competitive Exam Preparation we may suggest you to go for
the ClearExams Premium Program which you can enroll your child and in that case at the end
of the session. Just if in case, if you think ClearExam Way of Education might not be helpful you
can opt-out. In that Scenario, we will just be needing your valuable feedback that which
processes you didn’t like which we will definitely improvise.

1.The student is scoring exceedingly well in school and is brilliant - Do Not Need counseling
session - The session is not about how well he is scoring in schools but the way he learns. You
know very well a student gets marks based on what they write in exams - it does not require
complete understanding - Hence this meeting can ensure that the learning curve is right, which
career he can choose, career counseling, and application-based education.

2. No, no, this is just marketing. You will come to sell something
Sorry, you feel this way. The idea is to make students fall in love with learning & make them
understand those difficult problems lucidly so that their application part becomes strong & they
do well in any competitive exam happening in India. Moreover, we are providing this session

3. Father is very busy, and cannot be present during the session

We do understand that sir is busy. But then again, we are sure that he will be able to find a
time when it comes to the betterment of your child. Moreover, that is the reason we are
conducting sessions the whole day so that you can manage only 1 hour for your child’s
academics. Moreover, it’s a zoom call, he can attend even from his office too.
