Проект Katya’s Toon Project – это серия рабочих листов по мультфильмам, которые помогают в освоении основных тем детских
УМК или в самостоятельной работе.

Все мультфильмы, представленные в проекте, есть в бесплатном открытом доступе на Youtube.

Мультфильмы на английском языке – это не только упражнение на аудирование или минутка отдыха на уроке. Они дают
возможность услышать и увидеть, как употребляются изученные детьми грамматические структуры и лексика в реальном
контексте, услышать и понять настоящую аутентичную речь, легко усвоить целые фразы и словосочетания, поиграть, получить
удовольствие от просмотра и создать ситуацию успеха. Короткие мультфильмы служат прекрасным дополнением к любому
учебнику, помогают оживить занятия и дополнительно проработать или даже ввести любую новую тему языкового курса. Также их
можно использовать для летнего курса или самостоятельных занятий дома.

Как работать с материалами проекта


1. Каждый рабочий лист состоит из 4-6 заданий, которые выполняются до, во время или после просмотра мультфильма. В
зависимости от ситуации письменные задания можно выполнять и устно. Также задания можно дополнять, расширять или
сокращать, но желательно не менять местами. В подзаголовке описана ключевая грамматическая структура или лексика, которая
дополнительно прорабатывается с помощью мультфильма.

2. Во время работы с мультфильмом его нужно посмотреть не менее двух раз. Также, при необходимости, можно повторно
просматривать отдельные эпизоды.

3. Первое (а иногда еще и второе) задание рабочего листа – это pre-watching activity. Его нужно выполнить до первого просмотра
видео. Оно нужно для того, чтобы ребенок вспомнил или узнал ключевые слова мультфильма, догадался, о чем пойдет речь и
подготовился к восприятию истории. В некоторых случаях первое или второе задание дает «загадку» или вводный вопрос, на
который нужно попытаться ответить еще перед просмотром, а потом посмотреть фильм и проверить себя. Это задание на общее
понимание сюжета.

4. Следующее задание можно выполнять прямо во время просмотра или сразу после него, оно нацелено на более внимательный
просмотр и слушание. Чтобы выполнить его, ребенок должен услышать ключевую грамматическую структуру или лексику. При
необходимости можно посмотреть мультфильм второй раз.

5. Задание по картинке с мини-диалогом есть в каждом рабочем листе. Ребенок должен вспомнить небольшую фразу, которую
произносит каждый персонаж. Для этого, при необходимости, можно посмотреть этот маленький эпизод еще раз отдельно. Этот
мини диалог можно записать в speech bubbles прямо на картинке или разыграть устно в паре. Цель этого задания – детальное
аудирование и воспроизведение разговорных фраз целиком.

Для развития разговорной речи очень важно, чтобы ребенок научился употреблять в диалогах целые фразы (chunks) без их
грамматического разбора. Мультфильмы способствуют этому потому, что ребенок не только слышит фразу, но и видит ситуацию, в
которой она употребляется.

6. В последнем задании ученики должны сами употребить фразы из мультфильма в новом контексте. Это может быть игра или
диалог или ролевая игра. Таким образом мы закрепляем новые фразы или изученную грамматическую структуру и выводим их в
речь.

В каждом мультфильме много незнакомых слов и грамматики, но мы акцентируем внимание на тех структурах, которые для нас
актуальны и часто повторяются в мультфильме. Ребенок не должен понимать всё, что говорят. Видеоряд даёт ему возможность
додумать и понять сюжет. Этого достаточно.

Выполнения заданий по рабочему листу достаточно для проверки понимания, не нужно пытаться перевести диалоги на родной
язык.

7. Дополнительно, при желании и возможности, после выполнения всех заданий можно запустить какой-нибудь эпизод
мультфильма без звука и попросить детей продублировать его своими словами, как запомнили. Это тоже хорошее упражнение для
развития речи.
