Цель урока: Практика использования тематической лексики в диалогической речи
Задачи урока:
 образовательные: освоить во всех видах речевой деятельности новые лексические
единицы по теме «Погода»; научиться использовать в разговоре идиомы и
пословицы по теме;
 развивающие: развивать УУД во всех видах речевой деятельности; умение
планировать своё речевое и неречевое поведение; умение пользоваться словарями;
понимание идиом;
 воспитательные: воспитывать умение общаться с одноклассниками, развивать
умение отстаивать свою точку зрения.

Ход занятия:
I. Организационный момент
Good morning! What a lovely weather we are having today! What do you think about it? What
kind the weather do you like?
Let’s start with Tongue Twister. Now the main thing is to clearly pronounce words for certain
sounds «w» and «ð».
Whether the weather is fine
or whether the weather is not.
Whether the weather is cold
or whether the weather is hot.
We‘ll weather the weather
Whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not.

Now let's check your homework. Ex. 5, p. 79.
III. Ознакомление с темой урока
What was the tongue twister about? What do you think is the topic of our lesson? What are we
going to discuss? WEATHER!
 IV. Изложение нового материала
First of all, we will learn the new idioms on page 81.
To feel under the weather Чувствовать себя нехорошо
To save up for a rainy day Отложить деньги на черный день
To be on cloud nine Быть на седьмом небе
To see which way the wind blows Знать откуда дует ветер
To be a bolt from the blue Гром среди ясного неба
V. Восприятие и осознание учащимися нового материала
Now you have to work in pairs, create dialogue, reason about the weather using new idioms.
VI. Осмысление, обобщение и систематизация знаний
The next task is to work in groups. I suggest you watch a video about the weather in London.
You will hear information about four seasons. Each group will answer questions for one of the
seasons. 1 group – Spring, 2 group – Summer, 3 group – Autumn, 4 group – winter. You should
hear the following information:
1) What's the temperature this season?
2) What's the weather like?
3) What things are needed?
4) What to do in this weather?
