INSTALLATION
"The fenders were removed from the tractor for
instruction purposes only. Do not remove fenders
when installing this unit.

1. Disconnect the hydraulic hose from the rear
of the transmission. Connect the hose to the auxiliary
valve at the port next to the bolt holes as

8. The three hoses supplied with the unit should
then be connected as shown in figure 6. The short
hose connects to the rear of the transmission. The two
long hoses connect to the cylinder.
NOU: The hose leading from the piston end of the
cylinder connects to the front of the valve (the slotted
shaft end).

9. Mount the cylinder on the hitch bracket as
shown in figure 7. The hose fittings face out as
shown. The· cylinder is held in place with two devis
pins and two cotter pins.

10. Mount the valve to the fender using two 74"
nuts and bolts (fig. 8). Connect the link rod to the
slotted valve shaft with the hairpin cotter ..

11. Remount the lower hitch link arms, chains, and
lift rods. NOTE: The 3 point hitch connecting bar re-
moved earlier is not used with the hydraulic lift ac-
cessory installed. Replace the instruction cover plate
and reinstall the knobs on the hydraulic lift and
speed control levers.
OPERATION
Start the tractor engine and release the parking
brake. To raise the hitch, push the valve lever for-
ward; to lower, pull it back. Release the lever to
hold the hitch at any desired height.
Always lower attachments before leaving the trac-
tor.
Specific instructions for using the 3 point hitch
and hitch mounted attachments are provided with
those pieces of equipment.
