FACULTY OF NURSING SEGI UNIVERSITY COLLEGE

 The Diploma in Nursing is designed to prepare students to be qualified as a Registered Nurse.

This programme focuses both on the ‘care’ aspects of nursing as well as the ‘science’ of
healthcare.

 Students will undergo a complete learning experience involving classroom work, activities at
simulation wards, practical room and skills lab, and earn real life experience during attachments
with partner hospitals and community health clinics.

 The programme is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and

National Accreditation Board (LAN). It is also accredited by the Ministry of
Health & Malaysian Nursing Board.

 Students who pass the final examinations will eventually graduate and
register with the said Board.

SEGi College received “The Emerging Star” award of the Excellence Nurse
Award from the Nursing Board of Malaysia on 13th March 2008. The award
denotes potential and quality for SEGi. This award indicates the trust in
SEGi’s nursing programme for producing quality nurses.

 CONCLUSION

In summary, our group have successfully done the proposal for the exhibition which the
title is the ‘Nursing as a career’. We developed the strongest teamwork that gives full
effort to make sure the task given is done right, efficiently and effectively so we achieve
the aims and objective for doing this exhibition as planned. This exhibition proposal is
done with the main purpose is to promote the nursing course in this SEGi University
College of Nursing, Kota Damansara and to inspire people mostly the young generation
so they attracted to doing course in nursing for 3 years here and successfully have a
career in nursing profession in the future
