How should Web2.0 functionality and tools be used in education and work
Please return this form and document to: joel_josephson@kindersite.org (Deadline
Tuesday 22nd March)

This is an opportunity that needs your help for the 2011 call for European proposals
in the Lifelong learning programme. I hope you will be interested in joining this
European project as an Associate partner for networking and dissemination.

This project is targeted at every type of educator and employer, from schools,
vocational, university and adult, businesses, associations etc. This can include
teachers, administrators, authorities, and university staff. We are especially
interested in institutions and individuals involved in the Internet and Web2.0. Please
note, you will need to include your institution/company in the sign up form.

Every one involved as an Associate partner will receive an 'e-Certificate of

Involvement' signed by the coordinator as evidence of their inclusion and role in a
European Union funded education project.
ABOUT THE PROJECT

There is a huge need to utilize the power of Web2.0 tools within the educational and
working environment. Their potential to unlock human resources is already being
seen in the constant creativity and communications taking place on the Internet.

European education and enterprise desperately needs to harness the untapped

human potential in their students and work forces but there are no clear examples or
evidence how and what should be done. In addition, there is no synergy in how
students should be taught how to use the tools so they are effective when they join
the work force.

The network will:

• Study the use of Web2.0 tools (in education and work)
• Build a set of best practices
• Look at the needs of education and work
• Create study groups on different areas of the use of Web2.0

• Built an empirical testing regime so that the real results of the use of
Web2.0 tools can be ascertained.
• Complete conferences and workshops
Education and the world of work can get involved in this network, at the formative
stage, and contribute to the evaluations and use of findings.
TIME LINES

The project, if funded, will start in autumn 2011 and we will need your help in late
2012, at the earliest.
ASSOCIATE PARTNERS

We are asking for institutions to join our proposal as volunteer Associate Partners.

If the proposal is funded we will keep you involved as the project develops and we
will be extremely interested in your ideas evaluations and contributions to the
discussions and dissemination.

If you would like to be involved in the proposal as an associate partner please can
you complete the form below and return it to me at: joel_josephson@kindersite.org

WHAT IS AN ASSOCIATE PARTNER?

An Associate partner to a European Union multilateral funded education project is a

partner that is involved in a limited and clearly defined way with the project. An
Associate partner does not receive any funding and volunteers to carry out clearly
defined tasks and may not be responsible for core activities of the project (e.g.
management, coordination, leader of a work group etc.).
