What the Bible says about

Prophet Mohammad (Peace be

on him)?

A look at the books of OT and

NT

Preface

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful.

All praise is to Allah, the Creator and sustainer of this Universe. And may His peace and
blessings be on to His Servant and Messenger Mohammad and his progeny and his
companions, afterwards,

It is a common trait of Jews and Christians to boast that their scriptures (both Old
Testament and New testaments) are filled with prophesies about future events. There is
hardly any major or minor event in the world, which is not already been prophesized in
their scriptures.

Events such as rise of Communism, unification of Europe and Re-creation of state of

Israel are all mentioned in their books thousands of years before they happened, a really
impressive claim on the face of it.

Then Christians go one step further and say that advent of Jesus is mentioned and
prophesized in hundreds nay thousands of places in the books of Old Testaments. His
virgin birth, his miracles, his mission and his death and resurrections , centuries before he
came. Some Christians go further and claim that subject of OT is “Jesus and nothing
else”!

But when we ask Jewish Scholars, they say, Jesus is NEVER mentioned in their books at
all and Christians are mistranslating and misrepresenting Jewish scriptures to
manufacture Jesus, where he does no exist at all.

Christians on the other hand accuse Jews to be “Biased and Blind” as not to see these
“clear as day” prophesies mentioning the advent of “Second Person of Holy Trinity” in
their own scriptures. Jews and Christians have never ending fights amongst them on this
subject.

Recently on a thread on www.topix.net I was given a list of 60 plus Jesus prophesies

from OT books, when I looked at the OT books and quoted verses, I found that most of
these verses did not refer to Jesus at all. Christians indeed twist and turn some OT verses
to fix them on Jesus. But this mutual bickering between Jews and Christians are not my
topic of this monograph.

When we Ask Jews and Christians what their books have to say about the advent of our
prophet? Both of them become silent and pretend as if they have not even heard the
question, when we repeat this question, they say “Our books have nothing to say about
your prophet at all, one way or other”.

How come, we ask, when your books refer to all major and minor events happening in
the world (even the rise and fall of communism, which no one will remember after a
couple of centuries), how come they missed on such an event which changed the course
of world history permanently.

And this was not happening is any remote part of the world, but right in the center of
Jewish and Christian world. His advent and his religion had a direct and most pronounced
effect on the history of both Jews and Christians. It is very strange that their books should
be so silent on his advent. There is something fishy in their flat face denials.

Quran on the other hand, mentions very clearly that advent of our prophet was mentioned
in the scriptures of Jews and Christians. On the strength of this Quranic statement,
Muslims scholars have searched thru the books of OT and NT. They have identified
certain specific verses which clearly prophesize advent of our prophet.

When any unbiased person looks at these verses and analyzes the qualities mentioned
there and to which historical person they suit, one must admit that they refer to our
prophet and no one else. And if one compares the so called “Jesus verses” and then sees
how Christians twist and turn these verses to suit to Jesus, one wonders how the same
people missed so called “Clear Mohammad verses”.

In the pages below, I have selected some of the verses which are very clear and very
unambiguous in their referral to our prophet. I have taken the help of that Wonderful
book, IZHARUL HAQ by MAULANA RAHMATULLAH HAIRANVI of India. This
book was translated into Urdu by MAULANA TAQI USMAI and published in three
volumes “From Bible to Quran”. I have gathered much of the materials from these books.

This study is presented to those unbiased Jews and Christians, who have open minds and
have not closed them for further research and knowing the true path.

If I have made any mistakes in my quotations, typing, and in my arguments, I seek the
forgiveness of Allah.

I hope this will be beneficial to seekers of truth,

Chapter-1 (Introduction)

A. What is prophesy?

01. If you ask any learned person, he will tell you that prophesy is foretelling about a
future event, made by some one.

02. When we talk about religious books and prophets, then it is telling and forecasting
about a future prophet made in books of scripture.

B. Bible and its prophesies:

01. When we talk to Jews and Christians, they say that “Most major events” that have
happened in past two thousands or more have been mentioned in their scriptures.

02. They also say that many “Future events” that are yet to take place have also been
mentioned in their scriptures.

03. Example of past and present events like WW-1 & WW-2, Rise of Communism,
Unification of Europe , re-birth of Israel…..etc are mentioned in their scriptures.

04. Biblical prophesies is a fully grown subject and there are many “specialist” who are
full time engaged in this job. No major or minor event happens in the world, when these
“specialist” come forward and say “We knew it all along, it is all in our books”!!

C. What Bible had to say about our Prophet?

01. Yet when we ask these “specialists” what their books says about Prophet Mohammad
(PBUH), they all become silent!! They say with one voice “Our books say NOTHING
about him”….there is no word, no jot, not an iota about him in all 66 books of Protestants
and 73 books of Roman Catholics!!

02. How come when their books speak of such “minor” events like rise of Communism
(which had the life of less that 100 years) etc….why should it be silent about such a
major event of human history.

03. People may agree, or they may not agree, but they have to accept that advent our
prophet changed the course of world history for ever. If you are writing the history of
world, you cannot ignore him and his place in history. It had a very profound effect on
the history of Jews and Christians both, so how come their books are silent about this
major event.

04. It is therefore very logical that their books have had something (positive or negative,
but very specific) to say about his advent and rise of his religion in the world.
In following pages we will search for the answer of this very important question. But I
am not like Mr. Sentinel to “Cut and paste” a whole bunch of “So called prophesies”
about Jesus and then lie “dormant” for weeks and take no notice of my rebuttal.

My purpose is to examine this in truth and give every opportunity for people to examine
and question me, that is why I will discuss this topic slowly and after laying proper
foundation.

D. Confirmation from Quran:

01. Before I go further, I just want to refer to Quran to confirm that Bible (both OT and
NT) did tell about advent of our prophet. If that was not so, I would not have wasted mine
and other’ time top go on a mere futile exercise and on a fishing trip so to say.

02. When we look at Quran we find following verses:

“…The unlettered prophet, whom they find mentioned in their (own Scriptures) Torah
and the Gospel; for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he
allows them lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and
impure) ; he releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are on
them….” (7: 157)

and

“The people of the book (i.e. Jews and Christians) know him (The prophet Mohammad)
as they know their own sons; but some of them conceal the truth which they themselves
know” (2: 146)

And

“And remember Jesus, the son of Mary said “O Children of Israel! I am the Apostle of
God (sent) to you, confirming the Law (torah) which came before me and giving Glad
Tidings (Good News, INJEEL) of a prophet to come after me, whose name shall be
Ahmad (another name for Mohammad)…” (61: 6)

And

“Say; “Don’t you see that (this teaching) be from God, and yet you reject it, and a
witness from amongst the Children of Israel (I.e. Prophet Moses) testifies to some one
like him….” (46:10)

These Quranic verses confirm that prophesies about our prophet are indeed available in
both OT and NT books. But many Jews and Christians are not aware about them.
03. For most Jews and Christians we can say that they are unaware of these prophesies,
because their priests and religious scholars never tell them their correct interpretations…..
But there are certainly few amongst them who reject these prophesies after knowing
them.

04. My address is to both these groups, but mostly to the first group because those who
reject “after knowing the truth” it is very hard for them to change their course, but those
who are ignorant, they may still change their attitude.

E. General comments on Biblical Prophesies relating to our prophet:

01. Before we go any further, let us say a few words about the strong and weak points of
Biblical prophesies themselves. Because if we are not clear about this our minds would
be clouded.

02. It is very natural that our past generation would have believed that this prophesy is
about such and such person, because they matched a few points….but it was not a
complete match and a new person some centuries later could be the intended person.
These are the pitfalls and limitations of these prophesies….and that is how the Christians
try to fit the prophesies of King and Ruler as well as Meek and rejected “Both” on Jesus
Christ!!

It is clear that one man cannot be both!! Some of these weaknesses I had commented on
when dealing with that “Long list of Jesus prophesies in OT books”.

When such is the case for prophesies about Jesus, how difficult is for us to find and
deduce prophesies about our prophet in these books. Some of the points which can help
us are given here.

03. It is very illogical for OT and NT books that describe every major event in the world
to be silent for such an important event as the advent of our prophet which changed the
course of world history and even the history of their own religion.

04. It is not necessary for a prophesy to be very Clear and very Direct: Prophesies are
really the word picture of a future event, and it is not necessary for a prophet to tell that
it will happen in this year and in this place and such and such shall be name of the person
(for example we never find the name Jesus and Mary and John the Baptist in ANY of the
OT books).

05. Jews at the time of Jesus were looking for THREE persons and not TWO (as
Christians want us to believe). THREE very specific questions were asked from John the
Baptist (John 1: 17-21), relating to THREE distinct personalities. But some how
Christians have tried to fool the world that Jews only asked about TWO people and forget
the third one!!
06. Jesus was not the Last Prophet, because he gave a test “to distinguish between a True
Prophet and a False Prophet”. If he was to be the Last and Final Prophet, why would he
gave this test? That shows clearly that Jesus never considered him to be the Last and
Final prophet. He mentioned about “Another comforter” to come after him also confirms
that “someone” was to come after him!!

07. Jews do not accept all these “Hundreds of prophesies about Jesus” in OT books.
While to every Christian they are “as clear as day”….to Jews these prophesies are not
about Jesus at all!!

The same attitude of Jews and Christians we see towards these verses which point
towards the advent of our prophet.

So we will not consider that these verses only mean what Jewish and Christian scholars
say, because if we accept Jewish views then Jesus also was an imposter and no prophet of
God….

08. Jews and Christians also translate Proper Names along with the text:

This is another “sickness” of Jews and Christians, that when they translate the scripture
from one language to another, they even translate the Proper Names!! This is not correct
because Names of persons do not change when we talk in one language or in another
language.

Due to this habit of Jews and Christians many verses change their meaning and it
becomes doubly difficult for anyone to guess or deduce that this verse relates to such and
such person.
Chapter-2 (House of Abraham and Ishmael)

Background:

Before we start to mention the actual prophesies, let me prepare some back ground,
because our prophet was not such an “unconnected man” so as to appear from nowhere.
He was related to the “house and family of Abraham” in no uncertain way. So let us start
from the beginning, i.e. the story of Abraham.

I would like every one to know before hand that the books of Torah (the first five books
we have today in front of us, were not written by the pen of Moses. They were complied
many centuries after death of Moses and passed thru many copyists and editors before
they reached to us. So we cannot be dogmatic about every word we find written in them.

A. God’ promise to Abraham that “all nations” shall be blessed thru him:

We find this written in Gen. Ch12 at the beginning of story of Abraham, i.e. God said to
Abraham

“I will make you a great nation, I will bless you and make your name great and you will
be a blessing. I will bless those who will bless you and whosoever curses you I will curse,
and in you all people of the earth shall be blessed” (Gen. 12 :2-3).

Now when God promises anyone to make him great, does He means only the material
wealth and gold and silver and huge kingdoms?

Are these things which are “great” in the eyes of God? By no means , it means that God
will sent prophet into them and guide them to the proper path.

So from this promise to Abraham….God said that he will send a “Universal Prophet” in
the progeny of Abraham, from whom every one on the earth shall be blessed.

This is the first point every one should keep in mind.

B. Ishmael was the First Born Son of Abraham:

a. I know our “Jewish and Christians cousins” downplay the importance of Ishmael. Any
mention of his name and they start hurling abuses at him…..some even claim that he was
“illegitimate son of Abraham” etc.

They do not realise what great charge they are laying against their own Patriarch
Abraham.

b. Ishmael’ mother Hagar was no ordinary Egyptian slave girl, she was the daughter of
king of Egypt which he gave to Sarah to work as his maid, when Abraham and Sarah
visited Egypt (as recorded in the book of genesis Ch. 12 verses 11-21).
c. Abraham’ marriage to Hagar was a Proper marriage and no “illicit affair”:

We find this mentioned in Bible:

“Abraham had been in the land of Canaan, when Sarah his wife, took Hagar , her
Egyptian maid and gave her to Abraham as wife, he went in to her and she became
pregnant” (Gen 16:3-4).

The following verses 5 etc. seem to show how Sarah was jealous of her own maid. This
is against what we see written in earlier verses. How low these “uneducated friends” try
to portrait the family of Abraham?

d. And if there is any thing wrong with the status of Ishmael….they fail to realize that
Jacob the Patriarch of Jews also had four wives and two of them were bond women. He
had 12 sons from all of them, by which we get 12 tribes of Israel are named.

I do not know if there is any “inherent superiority” of any of these 12 Jewish tribes
because their mothers were maid servants?

e. Ishmael was born after Abraham prayed for a son, his very name Ishmael, means “God
Heard”. i.e. God heard the prayers of Abraham.

C. God called Ishmael as “Son and Seed of Abraham and Blessed him also”

01. I know it causes a pain to our “Jews and Christian cousins” when Ishmael is
mentioned in any good light, but the truth has to be told.

02. When God started the covenant of Circumcision with Abraham and his generations,
Ishmael was his son that was circumcised with him and he is therefore part of the God’
promise to Abraham.

03. We can see the “smear compaign against Ishmael” as mentioned in verses 12-14 of
Genesis Ch. 17. They do not match with the blessings given by God to Hagar. The
“discontinuity” is very well visible.
D. When Hagar and Ishmael were sent away?

01. The Biblical writers would lead us to believe that Ishmael and Hagar were sent away
when Isaac was weaned, because Sarah caught him mocking Isaac. This presents a very
bad picture and cruelty on the parts of Sarah. But let us discuss the matter further and see
if the scenes depicted are probable or not.

02. Abraham was 86 years old when Ishmael was born and he was 99 years old when
Isaac was born. So for 13 long years Ishmael was the ONLY son Abraham had. And
when Isaac was weaned Ishmael must have been 15 or 16 years old boy.

03. Now listen to the “scene” of sending Hagar away with her 15 or 16 year old son
Ishmael:

“Abraham rose early next morning and gave her bread and a skin bag of water to Hagar.
He put the child on her back and send her away….she wandered in the desert of
Beersheba ” (Gen 21: 14)

Is that how a mother with 15 or 16 years old son is sent away? Abraham put bread, skin
of water and her 15 or 16 years old son on her back? Was she a weightlifter? A 16 years
old boy would carry some of her mother’ load and not be a burden on him.

Therefore this tale is all made up and not real. It would fit when Ishmael was still an
infant , as Islamic stories confirm.

04. Now when we see the scene of Ishmael dieing with thirst, the picture again is very
improbable:

Listen to these Biblical verses:

“When there was no more water in the skin, she pushed the boy under one of the bushes
and then went and sat a hundred yards away, for she thought “I cannot bear to see my son
die” (Gen 21:15-16)

Is this scene correct if Ishmael was a 16 years old boy? Hew would have searched for
water, how can he be pushed under a bush?

That is why; we say that this whole story is concocted and confused. The Islamic version
that Abraham placed Hagar and Ishmael in Makkah when Ishmael was still an Infant is
more logical and consistent.

There was no jealousy of Sarah and there no mocking Ishmael when Isaac was weaned.
These are all made up stories which were written when Bible was re-written 1000 years
after Moses.

Abraham, Sarah and Hagar have nothing to do with these “family scenes”.
E. Where did Ishmael and Hagar settled:

01. The Bible says that Hagar and Ishmael went to the desert of Beersheba when they
were sent away, and then it has this final comment:

“God was with the boy, he grew up and made his home in the wilderness of and became
an expert archer. He lived in the desert of Paran and his mother chose a wife from him
from the land of Egypt” Gen. 21:20-21)

02. It is unthinkable that Abraham forgot all about Ishmael and Hagar when they were
sent away because we find mentioned in the Bible that when Abraham died “His sons
Ishmael and Isaac buried him in the cave of Machpelah..” (Gen. 25:9)

03. The place where Abraham settled Ishmael and Hagar was no other than Makkah
where there are all of the “tell tale signs of the story”. It was a deserted place then, The
well which gushed forth from the land is still present and working well after 4000 years!!

No one knows from where the water comes in the well but it NEVER runs dry. The two
hills (SAFA and MARWAH) where his mother ran for water are still near the well,
within ear shot distance.

It is not correct to say that Arabs forged these sites to match with the Biblical narratives.
So Abraham came all the way from Palestine and settled one portion of his family in
Makkah. He traveled that distance on camel as no other means of transport would
suffice.

04. Later he and Ishmael constructed Kaaba the house for worship of one True God,
which still exist today. Therefore there is much truth and evidence in Muslims claim for
Makkah and Kaaba to be associated with the story of Abraham and Ishmael.
F. Who was the Son of Sacrifice?

01. This is another tricky question, Jews and Christians say that Isaac was the son whom
Abraham sacrificed. If you ask at the proof, they say “Our book says that”!! So let us
look at the “Book” and see the whole scene depicted there.

02. It is mentioned in Gen. Ch 22.

God said “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love and go to the land of
Moriah and offer him there as a burnt sacrifice….” (Verse 2) and later in the scene : “Do
not lay your hand on the boy; do not harm him, for now I know that you fear God and
you have not held back from me your only son” (Verse 12).

03. Is there a slippage of tongue here or some thing being concealed? At no time in
Abraham’ life, Isaac was his ONLY son. However for 13 or 14 years, Ishmael was indeed
his ONLY son, the son he loved, the son for which he prayed.

04. Therefore there is some slight of hand in this narration and the name Ishmael has
been replaced with the name Isaac. And as it usually happens the forgers leave some
mark of their forgery!!.

05. The place Moriah is the same as MARWA which still exists in Makkah and Arabs
and Muslims sacrifice sheep every year in the memory of this sacrifice which Abraham
performed.

06. And the test for Abraham would have been proper if he had no son living. If Isaac
was to be offered then Abraham had another son living, severity of test was in the case of
Ishmael, because he was the ONLY son and Sarah was barren, so Abraham had no hope
for another son.

G. God’ promise for Ishmael:

01. We have said earlier that when God blessed Abraham for the first time, he had no
issue, so God’ promise to bless him and his progeny after him included all his sons and
daughters.

02. Alter the birth of Ishmael, God again promised for Ishmael to make him a great
nation.

03. The promise for Ishmael was repeated when the Birth of Isaac was given to
Abraham, as we see in following verses;

“If only you would accept Ishmael as yours”…….as for Ishmael I heard you , I will bless
him and make him fruitful and I will multiply his race, he shall be the father of twelve
princes and I will make him a great nation” (Gen. 17: 18-21).
04. God saying that he will someone great nation, does not mean only physical wealth of
physical kingdom, it also means the blessing of Prophets being send top them and
guidance being sent to them.

05. And that was how the God’ plan worked. Isaac and his descendents were established
in the land of Canaan and Ishmael and his sons were established in Makkah and Arabia.
This is the best explanation which fits the scene and does not call for any one to be
jealous of other.

H. Our prophet’ connection to Ishmael is beyond any doubt:

01. Arabs were very particular to guard their genealogy (they still are) , and they ALL
agreed that our prophet was a descendant of ADNAN who came from the stock of
Ishmael.

02. That Jews and Arabs are related to each other is very clear when we see that their
languages are related to each other. They have similar customs and they are both
circumcised.

03. It is not correct to say that Arabs started circumcision to imitate Jews. No race does
that. Hindus and Muslims are living for 1200 years in India and Muslims were ruling
there for 1000 years, we do not see that Hindus started doing circumcision just to imitate
Muslims.

04. Same thing we can see in many Non Muslims living in Islamic lands and they just do
not adopt this practice of circumcision. Why would Arabs imitate this practice of Jews ,
when they considered him to be the “Worst of Creatures”!! The truth is that Most Arabs
are descendants of Ishmael and our prophet was also a direct descendent of Ishmael and
Abraham.

K. Conclusion:

To conclude these preliminary topic we conclude:

1. God promised to Abraham to bless him and thru him all Nations of the world.

2. God blessed both Ishmael and Isaac and promised both of the to make Great Nations.
This promise not only means physical kingdom but gift of Prophethood also.

3. Abraham settled his first born son in Makkah while he was still infant. Later he was
tried to offer for sacrifice his “Only son” (at that time), Ishmael.

4. Abraham settled his other son in the land of Canaan.

5. Our prophet is the direct descendent of Abraham thru Ishmael.

Chapter-3 (Prophesies from the book of Old Testament)-
From the Book of Deuteronomy

A. Prophesy Number 1:

This is most clear and most direct prophesies about our prophet that is found in any book
of the OT and NT and it is so clear and so easily fits on our prophet

This is recorded in the Book of Deuteronomy Ch 18:

“So God said to me “They have spoken well, I shall raise up a prophet from their midst,
one of their brothers, who will be like you. I will put my words into his mouth and he will
tell them all what I command. If some one does not listen to my words when the prophet
speaks on my behalf, I will call him to account for it” (Deut. 18: 17-19).

This is a very clear prophesy of a prophet to come after Moses, who will be like
Moses….now referring to closing verses of Deut. “No prophet like Moses has appeared
again, God conversed with him face to face” (Ch 34 V 10).

And we know that the present book of Deut. Was written almost 1000 years after
Moses….so all of the major and minor prophets of Biblical OT had come and gone and
this prophesy was not fulfilled.

Then referring to Gospel of John Ch1 V 19-27…when Jews asked from John the Baptist
“Are you “That Prophet”…” meaning prophet like Moses….shows that upto that time
this “Prophet like Moses” had not appeared for Jews.

So now we have only two candidates for this prophesy, either Jesus Christ or our Prophet
Mohammad (peace be on both these messengers of Allah).

So let us break down this prophesy into component parts and see, who of these two
persons satisfies them most:

a. He shall be a Prophet (He shall be known and shall be famous as a Prophet. In

other words being Prophet shall be His Important Quality).

b. He shall be like Moses (In mission, in duties and in its completion and execution).

c. He shall be raised from the “brethren” of Jews.

d. God shall put His Words into the mouth of This Prophet.

e. The prophet shall only speak what God shall command him.
f. If any one does not listen to that Prophet’ message (when he is speaking in the
name of God), God Himself shall call that man to account (This is a warning, to
show how Important and critical is the mission of That Prophet. No one should take
it lightly.

Before we go further , let us go back to Gospel of John Ch-1 verse 19-27, where Jews
asked John the Baptist, THREE Distinct Questions:

A. Are you Christ?

B. Are you Elijah?

C. Are you THAT PROPHET?

They refer to three different and distinct personalities, Christ, Elijah and THAT
PROPHET , but some how Christians see only TWO personalities here and forgetting the
third one!!

The Jews were very sure of THREE personalities, that is why they asked John again

“Why you baptize when you are neither Christ, Nor Elijah and not THAT PROPHET”?

Again our Christian friends see only TWO personalities?

Is it not strange? In case of God when there is absolute Unity, they make 1 into Three and
when there are 3 personalities, they make them into 2!!

They certainly need a lesson in basic Arithmetic!!

Analyzing Deut. 18:17-19 (Contd.)

a. He shall be a Prophet (He shall be known and shall be famous as a Prophet. In

other words being Prophet shall be His Important Quality).

I know many Christians shall agree to the Prophethood of Jesus, just to satisfy this
prophesy, but was Jesus ONLY A PROPHET?

No calling Jesus ONLY A PROPHET is sort of Insulting him!! Because he was Begotten
Son of God, God in Human form, one with God in Trinity.

He had come to die for the sins of humanity and save them from that original sin.

So being ONLY A PROPHET is really an insult to him, to equate him with lower
people!!
But our Prophet was ONLY A PROPHET and nothing more than a prophet. In the same
way Moses was also ONLY a PROPHET and nothing more.

Our prophet made this ONLY PROPHET thing so pronounced that it is part of Islamic
creed and that he being a prophet is announced five times from hundreds of thousands of
mosques all over the world.

In fact if you say Prophet, the first person people will think will be prophet Mohammad
(peace be on him).

So our prophet satisfies this part of this prophesy in a much better way that does the
Jesus.

Analyzing Deut. 18:17-19 (Contd.)

b. He shall be like Moses (In mission, in duties and in its completion and execution).

I doubt anyone will dare to say that Jesus was like Moses, because according to
Christians Jesus is also God, while Moses is only a prophet.

Then Jesus died for the sins of human kind and Moses did not die for the sin of human
kind.

Then Jesus entered the hell for three days (after crucifixion till the resurrection) while
Moses did not enter hell at all.

Then in Jesus’ law, there is no restrictions on eating and cleaning oneself, where as in
case of Moses’ law these things are part of his law.

So there is very little similarity between Jesus and Moses, in their personality, in their
preaching, and in their success.

However there is a very strong similarity between Our Prophet Mohammad (peace be on
him). And Moses, because of.

1. Both are humans and both are “only” prophets of God.

2. Both were born in normal way from father and mother.

3. Both were married and had children.

4. Both died in normal way and were buried on earth.

5. Both brought law that included fighting with enemies and rules of governing nation.

6. Both law have instructions regarding purity, cleaning and lawful and unlawful foods.
7. Both law have rules regarding punishing criminals and adulterators and adulteresses.

8. Both laws have punishment for apostasy and those who worship any thing other than
God.

9. Both’ mission ended in success and both were accepted as Prophets and Leaders
during their life time.

10. Both had the Kingdom established on this earth and they were head of that kingdom.

In all of these we find that Jesus was opposite than Moses , whereas Mohammad (peace
be on him) was similar to Moses.
So this part of prophesy that “promised prophet would be like Moses” is more applicable
to Prophet Mohammad (peace be on him) than Jesus..

Analyzing Deut. 18:17-19 (Contd.)

c. He shall be raised from the “brethren” of Jews.

This is another very clear prophesy , that “the promised prophet” shall be closely related
to Jews. Jesus was amongst Jew, so this word does not fit him as close as it fits our
prophet Mohammad (peace be on him).

If the prophet was to come from Jews, then why would God say “from their brethren”
this is of no consequence.

When all Jews are present and then Moses says that this prophet shall come from their
brethren, then it means that the new prophet shall be from people who are closely related
to Jews but might not be Jews.

And we have told earlier that our prophet was from the stock of Ishmael, whereas Jews
(including Jesus) were from the stock of Isaac.

So Arabs are in fact “brethren of Jews” , so this part of prophesy is also very clearly
established in the case of our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him)., without resorting
to any “gimmickry” or twisting and turning the verse and / or strange interpretation.
Analyzing Deut. 18:17-19 (Contd.)

d. God shall put His Words into the mouth of This Prophet.

While every prophet is a mouth piece of God and transmits what is revealed to him, this
phrase “That I will put my words into his mouth” indicates many things:

1. That the prophet would not be an educated one and he will not be able to read or write.
This is applicable to our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him) and not for Jesus.

2. That the prophet would recite “verbatim” what is told to him at the moment. That is
what we see in the case of Quran. It was revealed to our prophet is small and big parts
depending upon the situation and the prophet would recite verbatim what revelation he
received and he was not allowed to change any word from that revelation.

Even when the angel started the revelation with command “Say”, that command was also
treated as part of revelation.

This is the best sense in which “I will my words into his mouth can be visualized”.

In case of Jesus, he was given the whole message at one installment and there never was
any instructions being given to him “verbatim at the moment”

Analyzing Deut. 18:17-19 (Contd.)

e. The prophet shall only speak what God shall command him.

We know that prophets do not say anything from their own, but they only preach the
message which they receive form God, they why this special phrase is inserted into the
prophesy?

To understand we have to go to the previous portion of the prophesy “I will put my words
into his mouth”…So the prophet would use “Those words” as the most potent instrument
of his mission.

And that is what we see in the case of our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him), that the
most potent instrument of his mission was to recite Quran.

And in all times and ages, Quran has been the most important and potent tool for calling
people to Islam.

This adherence and importance to Quran and its verses, we do not see in the case pf Jesus
and Gospels. The Gospels do not record the actual words spoken by Jesus and Jesus does
not always quote “Verbatim” what revelation he received from God.
In fact the words spoken by Jesus have been lost for ever, because all existing Gospels
are in Greek and jesus spoke Hebrew or Aramaic. So even if accept the Jesus conveyed
the “Actual words put into his mouth”…his followers did not consider it important to
preserve those words in the same language.

And when you translate one scripture into another language, it does not remain the same.

Therefore this part of prophesy is more applicable in the case of our prophet than Jesus.
(peace be on both of them)

Analyzing Deut. 18:17-19 (Contd.)

f. If any one does not listen to that Prophet’ message (when he is speaking in the
name of God), God Himself shall call that man to account (This is a warning, to
show how Important and critical.

01. This is the closing part of the prophesy, to show its importance and no one should
underestimate it, as being of trivial in nature.

02. God warns each and every one, that they should heed to the words of “That prophet”
which he speaks in the name of God. If they fail to do so, God will certainly punish them.

03. And another “icing in the cake” is that every chapter of Quran starts with the phrase
“BISMI ALLAH IL RAHAMAN AL RAHHEM” i.e. “In the name of Allah the Most
Gracious the Most Merciful”. So that every one can see that in whose name this prophet
is speaking.

04. No such formula we find in the opening of each Gospel or any chapter of Gospel or
any book of Bible for that matter.

Now look once again at the whole wording of that prophesy and see how naturally and
easily they fit on the personality of our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him), It is
inconceivable that he “Molded himself” so as to fit for this prophesy. He who did not
know how to read and how to write!!

So we can say with confidence and will all supporting evidence that this Prophesy of
Deut 18:18

Namely “They have spoken well, I shall raise up a prophet from their midst, one of their
brothers, who will be like you. I will put my words into his mouth and he will tell them
all what I command. If some one does not listen to my words when the prophet speaks on
my behalf, I will call him to account for it” (Deut. 18: 17-19).”

Is not for any one else except our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him).
Second Prophesy:

We find in the Book of Deuteronomy the following prophesy:

“I will hide my face from them and see what will become of them. They are so
perverse, so unfaithful. They made me jealous with their false gods and angered me
with their idols. I will therefore make them envious of a foolish people. I will
provoke them to anger with an empty headed nation” (Deut. 21:20-21).

In this verse Jews are warned that they will be replaced with a “foolish people and an
empty handed nation”.

These are clear indication of a poor and unlettered people, who were Arabs.

This is not applicable to Greek or Romans who were much educated and very advanced
in civilization.

This is a very clear prophesy for our prophet (and what is more, even now Jews and
Christians look down on Arabs as uneducated people and lacking in the knowledge of
science and technology!!)

Our prophet and Arabs are more worthy of this prophesy than Jesus. If we think that
Assyrians and Babylonians are meant in this prophesy….then it is not the case. Because
those nations did not replace Jews as leaders of the world.

They came like a wave of punishment and then they were finished as quickly as they had
come, like Tatars and Mongols swarmed on Muslims in 7th Century H.

Third Prophesy:

Again we find the following prophesy in the book of Deuteronomy:

“Yahweh came from Sinai, he rises above the horizon of Seir for his people, he has
shown from mount Paran…” Deut 33:2

In this verse, three stages of God are mentioned, He Came from Sinai…He rose from Sier
and …. He shown from the mount Paran. i.e. Early Morning, Dawn and Full Noon when
the sun is at full blaze.

Mount Sinai obviously refers to Moses, who was given Torah at the beginning of
Monotheism.

Mount Seir refers to Jesus, who was from that religion and he complimented the message
of Moses.
Mount Paran refers to our prophet as we have seen earlier that Paran is the place where
Ishmael resided.

Torah, Gospel and Quran also denote three stages of human civilizations. When Moses
came, it was only the beginning, in the times of Jesus it was half matured and by the time
of our prophet it was fully matured.

In Quran also we find the confirmation of this Biblical verse “By Fig and Olive and
Mount Sinai and This Sacred city, verily we have made man in the best of mould…”

Mount Sinai refers to Moses….Fig and Olive refers to jesus and Palestine where he was
born….and the Sacred city Makkah refers to our prophet.

This prophesy is much clear and straightforward than what we have seen in the case of
Biblical prophesies quoted for jesus and analyzed earlier.
Chapter-4 (Prophesies from Other Books of Old Testament)

Fourth Prophesy:

It is recorded in the Psalm 45:

“My heart is moved by an exalted theme and I deliver my ode to the king, my tongue is
as nimble as a pen”

“You are the finest among all others, your lips are anointed with graciousness and God
has blessed you forever”

“Gird your sword upon your thigh, O Mighty one, array yourself with splendor and
majesty”

“Glorious and triumphant, ride on for the sake of truth, for a just cause, you will see
marvelous deeds on your right hand”

“Your arrows are sharp, O king, they pierce the hearts of your enemies, nation falls
beneath your feet”

“Your throne, O God will last forever a scepter of justice is your scepter”

“You love righteousness and hate wickedness, therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness, above your fellow kings”

“Your robes are fragrant with myrrh, aloes and cassia, the music of strings gladdens your
palace adorned and glowing with ivory”

“among your ladies of honor are daughters of kings, at your right hand, in gold of Ophir,
stands the queen”

“Listen O daughter, pat attention; forget your father’s house and your nation….enter the
palace of kings”

“Forget your father and think of your sons, you will make them princes through out the
land”

“I will make your name famous through all generations’ may all nations praise you
forever” (Psalms, 45 V 1-17)

This is a powerful prophesy about a great person who shall come after David. It is too
early to say that it is for Solomon, who was the son of David !

The qualities of that great king shall be:

1. He will be very beautiful.

2. He will be best amongst all humans.

3. His lips shall flow with grace, and he will be blessed.

4. He will gird the sword, and he will be powerful.

5. He will support truth, justice and he will be hold the banner of truth.

6. Truth will triumph on his hands in strange ways.

7. Nations shall fall under his feet.

8. Daughters of kings shall be his wives.

9. Rich of nations shall be his followers.

10. His name shall be praised generations after generations by nations of the world.

All these qualities are found to the utmost degree in our prophet Mohammad (peace be on
him) to the utmost..

Jesus does not fulfill most of these qualities. So this prophesy cannot be cut and fit easily
on Jesus.
Fifth prophesy:

From the Book of Isaiah Ch. 42:

Listen to the following “ Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I
delight”

“I have put my spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nation”

“He does not shout or raise his voice, proclamations are not heard in the streets, a broken
reed he will not crush, nor will he snuff out the light of the wavering wick”

“He will not waver or be broken untill he has established justice on earth, the islands are
waiting for his law” Thus says God Yahweh…

“ I have called you for the sake of justice; I will hold your hand and made you firm; I will
make you as covenant to the people, and as a light to the nations, to open the eyes that do
not see, to free captives from prison”… (Isaiah 42:1-7).

This is a very clear prophesy and is fully applicable on your prophet and hardly any verse
will fit Jesus.

Let us see its various parts.

1. “Here is my Servant…” that leaves Jesus out, because he was God in human shape
one with God in Trinity, how can he be a “Servant” of God….on the otherhand
“Abdullah” or Servant of God is an honored title of our prophet. He said say “I am
Servant of Allah and His messenger”

2 “My Chosen one”….This is Translation of Arabic Word “MUSTAFA” the chosen one,
another title of our prophet!

3. “He will bring justice to the nations”….this was achieved by our prophet and not Jesus,
who died on the cross and had no power to bring justice.

4. “He will not waver or be broken untill he has established justice on earth…” This was
fully complied in the case of our prophet. When he started his mission, there was very
little chance that he will succeed in his mission. After 13 years of persecution in Makkah,
he had to fled to Madina in fear of his life…but ultimately he surmounted all the odds
and established the rule of Justice in Arabia and ultimately the entire region.

It is fruitless to even check the life of Jesus for this criterion.

5. “I will make you as covenant to the people and as a light to the nations..” This
confirms the Quranic statement that our prophet was sent for whole of the world. Where
as Jesus was sent “only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel”.
Sending as “Light” also confirms the claim of Quran “O prophet! Truly we have sent you
as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad tidings and a Warner, and as one who invites to God’s
(way) by His leave and as a lamp spreading light” (33:44-45).

Every word and every part of this prophesy fits to the personality of our prophet
Mohammad (peace be on him) like a hand in glove.

Just compare this with the “round about way” in which those “jesus prophesy” were cut,
and tailored and fit on the personality of Jesus!
Sixth Prophesy:

From the Book of Isaiah chapter 42, verse 9-17:

Listen to the wordings of this prophesy:

“See the former things have come to pass, and new things do I declare; before they spring
forth, I tell you of them”…. A very clear indications that these following events shall
happen in future and now at close to hand time (MUQ)

“Sing a new song to Yahweh, let His praise reach the ends of the world, let the sea and all
that it holds, let the coastlands and their inhabitants resound with song and praise of Him”

“Let the wilderness and the cities lift up their voice, together with the villages of Kedar,
let the Inhabitants of Sela sing, and shout from the mountains”

“Let them give glory to Yahweh and praise him in the far islands”

“Yahweh comes like a mighty warrior, He stirs up His fury before the fight, He threatens,
He raises the battle cry , and He triumphs over His enemies”

“For a long times I have been silent; I have kept still and restrained myself, I moaned like
a woman in labor, breathing and panting”

“I will lay waste mountains and wells and wither their vegetation…..”

“I will lead the blind by the ways which they do not know; along unseen paths I will
guide them, I will turn darkness into light before them….I will not forsake them” (Is.
42:9-17).

This prophesy also fits completely on the personality, character and mission of our
prophet Mohammad (peace be on him) from beginning to end.

1. A “New song” refers to a New Language (Arabic) taking the place of Hebrew.

2. The reference to Kedar and Selah is for Makkah and Madina. Sela mountain is present
in Madina.

3. All nations raising their voices in praise of God is what we see during Hajj when
people from all over the world chant “O God we are present”…and all the desert
mountain and valleys, for three or four days all filled with this chant and nothing else!

4. Then there is clear Indication in this prophesy about War, that this prophet will fight in
the cause of God and subdue his enemies. And it is told that these fights shall be to
establish justice in the world and remove the worship of idols.
And that was what was achieved by our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him) when he
exterminated idol worship from the whole lands of Arabia..

5. The prayers call raised five times every day from all parts of the world also fulfill what
is mentioned in these verses..

6. Then in the last verses it is mentioned that God will lead those who were blind by the
ways whom the did not know and turn their darkness to light….clearly refers to Arab
people, who before Revelation came to them were unaware of any knowledge and
civilization….and within 25 years of so, they became the “Most civilized people on the
face of this earth”.

I doubt if there can be a more fitting prophesy than this ?

Just look once again at those “Jesus’ prophesies” in Bible!!

Seventh Prophesy:

From the Book of Isaiah Chapter 54 Verses 1-17

“Rejoice O barren woman who has not given birth, sing and shout for joy, you who never
had children, for more are the children of rejected woman than the children of married
wife” says Yahweh.

“Enlarge the space of your tent, stretch out your hangings, lengthen your ropes and
strengthen your stakes, for you will spread out to the right and to the left, your desendents
will take possession of the nations and inhibit cities that have been abandoned”

“Do not be afraid, for you will not be deceived, do not be ashamed for you will not be
disgraced, you will forget the shame of your youth; no longer will you remember the
disgrace of your widowhood.”

“For a brief moment I have abandoned you, but with great tenderness I will gather my
people….I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I have had mercy on you says
Yahweh your redeemer”…

“All your children will be taught by Yahweh and they will prosper greatly, justice will be
your foundation, tyranny and fear will never come near you…if ever you are attacked , it
will not be of my doing and your attacker will surely fall…..no weapon forged against
you will succeed and all who speak against you will be silenced….says Yahweh” (Is.
54:1-17 (abridged).

This is a very clear prophesy, spoken in the form of a parable and it refers to Arabs, the
city of Makkah and children of Hagar in general.

1. “Barren one” refers to Makkah where no prophet came since Ishmael, whereas “the
married one” refers to Jerusalem, where many prophets came.

2. “Your descendents will be more than the married one”…was proven both literally and
figuratively. Arabs and Muslims soon overtook the Jews and splendor of Makkah got far
above Jerusalem in every respect.

3. “You will be extended to the right and to the left”….the Kingdom of Arabs spread to
all around Makkah very fast after the advent of prophet Mohammad (peace be on him).
They took possession of old cities and laid the foundation of new cities.

4. Muslim rulers have always took utmost care to add to the splendor of Makkah Mosque
and its up keeping. There is no other religious place on the face of this earth, which is so
frequented by people from all over the world as much as Makkah.

5. Justice is the hall mark of Islam and in Makkah it is seen in reality.

6. “No weapon will work against you..” This shows that Makkah will always be protected
from foreign attackers. This is a feat which no other city has witnessed for such a long
period..

The case of ABRAHA from Yemen, who wanted to demolish Kaaba is well recorded in
Islamic history. He failed miserably and so have been many attempts by people having
designs against Makkah and Arab in general..

7. Then God says that he will never be angry again….that shows that Islam shall be the
religion of God till the end of time and splendor of Makkah and Islam shall always be on
rise.

See the clear wordings of these prophesies and see their actual fulfillment and then look
again at those “jesus prophesies” and now they are “Cut and sliced” to fit his personality
from here and there.
Ninth Prophesy:

From the Book of Isaiah Chapter 65 V 1-6

First listen to the wordings of this prophesy:

“I let myself be found by those who did not ask for me, I have been found by those who
did not seek me”

“I said here I am, Here I am to a nation who did not call on my name”

“ I have stretched out my hands all day to a rebellious people who chose the evil way,
following their own wishes, these people provoked me to my face, continuously
sacrificing in gardens, burning incenses…..they cry out “Stay away, do not come near
me, for I am too sacred to be touched…”

“I will not keep silent, till I have settled my account with them, for their crimes and the
crimes of their forefathers as well, Yahweh says” (Is. 65:1-6)

In this prophesy, the crimes of Jews are mentioned and that they did not propagate their
religion to other people and other nations. They did not follow and walked in the path of
God and neither did they allowed others to walk. The previous chapter 64 also ends with
the condition of Jews and what they had done and asks for response from God.

They killed many prophets of God, sent to them to bring them back to right path…the last
of them was Jesus Christ.

In these verses, God is saying that he will replace Jews with a “New people”.

“People who did not ask me”…refers to Arabs and our prophet, who were not learned
and knew very little about Personality and Attributes of God, and they were not searching
for Him either, quite content with themselves and their lives….till suddenly the angel of
God appeared with the message “IQRA” i.e. “recite” to our prophet Mohammad (peace
be on him) in the cave of Mount Hira in Makkah…

So it was God who picked up these Arabs and not the other way around.

And our prophet did call Jews to account for their crimes, they were banished from the
land of Arabia for ever and ever. And their persecution by Christians is another way by
which God took His justice to them.

You will see that in these prophesies we do not have to make any false assumptions or
take twists and turns to fit somehow these prophesies fit our prophet Mohammad (peace
be on him. The wordings themselves fit him like hand in a glove.

And this is the beauty of truth, that it is always, simple and easy to understand.
Chapter-5 (From the Books of New Testament)

Tenth Prophesy:

Kingdom of God, Listen to the following verses of NT books

01. “In those days John the Baptists appeared in the deserts of Judea and began to
proclaim his message “change your ways, the Kingdom of heaven is now a hand” (Mat.
3:1-2)

02. “When Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee….from that
time on Jesus began to proclaim the message “change your ways, the kingdom of heaven
in near” (Mat. 4: 12-17).

03. “Jesus sent these twelve …to proclaim this message “the kingdom of heaven is
near..” (Mat. 10:5-7.

From these verses it is very clear that Kingdom of Heaven which was told by John the
Baptists, did not come in his life time.

Jesus also proclaimed the same message that Kingdom of heave is near, so the kingdom
did not appear in his time also.

Jesus also taught his followers to pray “Your kingdom come..” as mentioned in Lord’s
prayers, that also shows that Kingdom of heaven was not to appear till the time of
missionary of Jesus was to be finished.

Proofs that Kingdom of heaven was according to Jesus was to be established by one
man:

Listen to the following words of Jesus:

01. The parable of Sower….this indicates the prophet who starts his mission and gets
followers.

02. Mustard seed : “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, that a man took and
sowed in his field, it is smaller than all other seeds, but once it has fully grown, it is
bigger than any garden plant…” (Mat. 13:31-32)

03. “The kingdom of heaven is like a yeast that a woman took and buried in three
measures of floor until the whole mass of dough began to rise..” (Mat. 13-33).

These verses indicate, how the kingdom of heaven shall start, from one man, who will
start and then it will spread very fast, till it covers the whole world.
And that is what Jesus mentioned in Mat 31 V 43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of
heaven shall be taken from you and will be given to a people who will yield the harvest”

This also shows that a new set of people shall replace Jews.

Whereas in the case of our prophet, the Kingdom of heaven was physically
established on earth and Muslims are no longer waiting for Kingdom of heaven to
come…what are they waiting for is the “Last day and Judgment day”!!
Eleventh Prophesy:

Workers and their wages: Mat. Ch 20 1-16

This story throws light on the Kingdom of heaven.

“A landowner went out early in the morning to hire workers in the vineyard. He agreed to
pay the salary of one Shekel for the day and sent them to his vineyard”

‘He went out again at about nine in the morning, and seeing others idle on the square, he
said to them too, go to my vineyard and I will pay to you what is just”

“The owner went out at midday and again at three in the afternoon and he did the same”

“Finally he went out in the last working hour, it was the eleventh, and he saw others
standing there, so he said to them; why did you stay idle the whole day? They answered
“because no one hired us” the master said “Go and work in my vineyard”

“when the evening came, the owner of vineyard said to his manager “call the workers and
pay them their wages, beginning with the last and ending with the first….”

“So it will be , the last will be first and the first will be last” (Mat 20:1-16 (abridged).

This is a very clear prophesy, in which the time period and their working and wages are
mentioned.

The first workers are nations before Jews and might include Hindus and other ancient
nations.

Midday workers are Jews…..afternoon workers are Christians and those who were hired
at the last hour are Muslims.

But when the payment time comes, the Muslims will be paid first and enter the Paradise
first and then other nations shall follow them.

This prophesy shows that God will reward every nation same wages for what they did,
irrespective of their ages.

And the third thing in this prophesy is that, other nations shall be jealous with Muslims
for what blessings God will bestow on them in this world and in the hereafter, but God
will overrule their objection. He is the Lord and He is the Owner of Bounties and He
distributes to whom We Wills and Wishes.

And we Muslims thank God and humble ourselves most to out Most Gracious and Most
Merciful Allah!!
Twelfth Prophesy:

Landowner and Tenants: Matthew 21:33-44

“There was a landowner who planned a vineyard, he put a fence round it, dug a hole for
the winepress, built a watchtower, leased the vineyard to tenants and then went on a
distant country”

“When harvest time came, the landowner sent his servants to the tenants to collect his
share of the harvest, but the tenants seized his servants, beat one, killed another and
stoned another”

“Again the landowner sent more servants, but they were treated in the same way, finally
he sent his son, thinking “they will respect my son”

“When the tenants saw the son, they thought:’ this is the one who is to inherit the
vineyard, let us kill him and his inheritance will be ours, so they seized him, threw him
out of the vineyard and killed him”

“Now what will the owner of vineyard do with the tenants when he comes” they said to
him “He will bring these evil to an evil and lease the vineyard to others, who will pay
him in due time”

“And the Jesus said “Have you never read what the scriptures say? The stone which the
builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing and we marvel
at it”

“Therefore I say to you: The kingdom of heaven will be taken from you and given to a
people who will yield the harvest” Whoever falls on this stone, will be broken to pieces
and it will ground to dust on whom it falls”

01. In this parable, it is very clear that Landowner is the God Himself. The vineyard is the
Law, boundary, winepress, watchtower, indicate the do s and don’t s of the law.

02. The tenants are Jews, and the servants are prophets and messengers, the son refers to
jesus himself (as the last prophet sent to them)…

03. The stone which the builders rejected is our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him)
and the people who will bring the fruit are the Muslims who are followers of prophet
Mohammad (peace be on him).

04. Any one who fell on the stone was crushed to pieces and anyone on whom the stone
fell ground it to dust. This is what happened to prophet Mohammad (peace be on him)
and his followers.
05. Some Christians say that “The stone whom the builder rejected refers to Jesus”…. If
Jesus belonged to Jews and is from the stock of David and Judah, where comes the idea
of “stone which the builder rejected and why the Jews should be amazed of it”?

This is true in the case of our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him). Who was from the
progeny of Ishmael. Whom the Jews always looked down.

And Ishmael and Hagar were sent away and were living in the distant land of Arabia.
They knew nothing about Prophethood and revelation etc.. All of a sudden they became
the Most Powerful nation of the world in mere 25 years.

It was certainly an amazing event in the human history and amazed both Jews and
Christians.

06. Then the saying that “who fell on stone was crushed and on whom the stone fell
crushed it to dust”….is never applicable to Jesus. He was seized and killed by the Jews
and for 300 years, Christians were no force in the world.

07. And there is a saying of our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him) in which he said
“My example and other prophets before me is like “Someone built a beautiful palace
which was perfect from every direction, except there was space for one brick in one
corner. People will come and be amazed by the building, but would ask, why is the empty
space in one corner.

I am that final brick, thru me is completed the palace and now there is no space for any
more bricks in it.
Thirteenth Prophesy:

Iron Rod

Listen to this prophesy from the book of revelation:

“Listen to me now, the rest of you in Thyatira, you do not hold with his teaching and
have not learned the secrets, as they are called which are in fact those of Satan”

“So I have no cause to reproach you, only hold on to what you have until I come.”

“To the victor who keeps in my ways to the end, I will give power over the nations, to
rule them with an Iron Rod, and shatter them like earthen pots; he will be like me, who
received this power from my father, moreover I will give him the Morning Star”

“Let anyone who has ears listen to what the spirit says to the Churches” (Rev 2: 24-29)

In this prophesy. which was to be delivered to the people of Thyatira, there is mention of
some one who will rule over the nations and he will rule them over an Iron Rod.

“Morning Star” as mentioned in this prophesy, refers to our prophet as Quran confirms
that he was indeed a Shining Lamp to all world.

And if some one has doubt that this man was to come from Thyatira, since Jesus
specifically sent this prophesy to these people…..this place was conquered during the
reign of Second and Third Caliph and has since always be under the control of Muslims.
It lies in present day Turkey!!

Just see, how these prophesies come and fit into the personality and mission and history
of our prophet and then see how the “jesus prophesies” are cut and tailored to fit the
personality of Jesus somehow. They set right one part, then another goes out of hand and
if they prop the second, the third gets out of size!!
Fourteenth Prophesy:

Comforter or Paraclete of Gospel of John:

This is a very famous and illustrious prophesy of Jesus regarding our prophet Mohammad
(peace be on him) , it is comparable in clarity and details to the prophesy of Moses in
Deut 18:18, so we will discuss it is detail.

This prophesy is spread on three Chapters of Gospel of John, so let is firs listen to ALL
these verses, before we analyze as to whom it refers to:

A. John Ch 14:

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments and I will ask the father and he will
give you another comforter to be with you forever”

“That spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor
knows him, but you know him for he is with you and will be in you”.. (Verses 15-17)

“I told you all this while I was still with you, from now on the Comforter, the holy spirit
whom the father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of all
that I have told you” (Verses 25-26)

B. John Ch 15

“From the father, I will send you the Spirit of truth, when this Comforter has come from
the father, he will be my witness. And you too will be my witnesses for you have been
with me from the beginning” (Verses 26-27)

C. John Ch 16

“Indeed believe me, it is better for you that I go away, because as long as I do not leave,
the Comforter will not come to you. But if I go away, it is to send him to you. And when
he comes, he will vindicate the truth in face of the world with regard to sin, to the way of
righteousness and to the judgment”

“What has been the sin? They did not believe in me. What is the way of righteousness? I
am on the way to father, meanwhile you will not see me. What Judgment? The prince of
this world has himself been condemned”

“I still have many things to tell you, but you cannot bear them now, when he, the Spirit of
Truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He has nothing to say of himself, but he
will speak of what he hears, and he will tell you of the things to come”
“He will take what is mine and make it known to you in doing this he will glorify me”
(Verses 7-14)

Any one who reads these statements of Jesus, without any bias and pre-conceived
dogmas, will come to conclusion that Jesus indeed is prophesizing for a new Comforter
that will come after him, and Jesus mentions so many qualities of this Comforter, most of
them fit on our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him).

But let us analyze of the word Comforter itself.

D. Did Jesus said “Comforter”?

We all know that Jesus did not speak English or Greek. He spoke Aramaic, which is a
dialect of Hebrew. John wrote his Gospel in Greek, what right had he to translate the
Proper Name which Jesus spoke of the person who was to come after him?

This is the common sickness of Jews and Christians as I have mentioned earlier, that they
translate Proper Names also when translating scriptures from one language to another,
which makes it doubly difficult for understanding the prophesy.

The world which Jesus spoke in Aramaic, was translated as Paraclete in Greek, then
Comforter, or Counselor or Helper in English and then 2000 other names in 2000
different languages in which Bible is translated!!

So the word which Jesus himself spoke is lost for ever, so we have to see the “other
qualities” which is mentioned in this prophesy and see how they fit to our prophet.

E. Some salient features of this Comforter:

1. Jesus is very earnest and serious when talking about this Comforter. He announced his
advent at the very end of his missionary, when he was about to be arrested. So this
prophesy is very serious.

2. Comforter is very often referred as “Spirit or Truth” and “Holy Spirit”.

3. Masculine pronouns are used whenever Jesus speaks of this Comforter, I do not detect
any feminine pronouns which are common when one speaks of “Non Materialistic
spirits”. So this comforter most certainly is a male human.

4. The Comforter will not come into the world, unless Jesus goes away. If Jesus goes
away, only then the Comforter shall come.

5. The Comforter shall be like Jesus, because Jesus uses the word “Another Comforter”.

6. The comforter shall stay with them “forever”.

7. Jesus had many things to tell, but his disciples could not bear or understand them at
that time, This Comforter shall tell New things.

8. The comforter shall bear witness to jesus and shall call the world to Justice.

9. The Comforter shall not speak of himself, what he shall hear the same he shall speak
(remember the phrase from Deut 18:18, “I will put my words into his mouth and he shall
speak only what I shall command him”).

As we had seen with Deut 18:18 that there were two candidates for that prophesy, Jesus
and our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him), and we had seen that this prophesy fits
more easily on our prophet than Jesus.

Similarly for this prophesy, Christians say that it is for Holy Ghost which came on
Pentecost day and Muslims say that this is a very clear prophesy about our prophet
Mohammad (peace be on him) , so we will see point-by-point compliance as to which of
the two candidates it refers to.

That we will see in following sections.

1. Jesus is very earnest and serious when talking about this Comforter. He
announced his advent at the very end of his missionary, when he was about to be
arrested. So this prophesy is very serious.

I would also like to emphasize that this is not a mere idle discussion. It is a very serious
discussion and we are trying to understand who was this Comforter, about which Jesus
said, just before he was to depart from this world.

People should listen to these points in earnest and then decide and not just use it to score
points against each other.

If we study Christian history, we find at leas t two more people who claimed that they
were “Promised Comforter or Paraclete”.

One of them was Montanus who lived in the second century CE in Asia Minor.

Then we find another person Menus, who also claimed that he was the promised
Comforter.

And from contemporary accounts of Christian scholars and rulers from Egypt, Syria and
Abyssinia, we learn that both Jews and Christian around the time of our prophet were
eager for appearance of a prophet from God.

It was only after our prophet came and announced his mission, the majority of Jews and
Christian scholars changed their stand.
This is also mentioned in Quran at many places.

So we can say for sure that there was no unanimity amongst Christians that Comforter is
indeed the Holy Ghost.

Our following arguments will prove that Comforter cannot be Holy Ghost.

Who is the Comforter? (Contd)

2. Comforter is very often referred as “Spirit or Truth” and “Holy Spirit”.

Holy Spirit and Spirit of truth can also be spoken for a prophet of God, it is not essential
that these must refer to the mysterious Holy Ghost.

“Truthful and Trustworthy” (SADIQ AL AMEEN) was the title which Makkan people
had bestowed on our prophet even before he declared his mission.

When some one always speaks the truth, he become “Truth Personified” and he has all
the rights to be referred to as “spirit of truth” and “Holy spirit”.

So there is nothing in this prophesy, which precludes that our prophet cannot be Spirit of
truth and / or Holy spirit and this MUST be applicable ONLY for mysterious Holy Ghost.

Who is the Comforter? (Contd)

3. Masculine pronouns are used whenever Jesus speaks of this Comforter, I do not
detect any feminine pronouns which are common when one speaks of “Non
Materialistic spirits”. So this comforter most certainly is a male human.

Any one who reads the whole wordings of this “Comforter” prophesy, will not fail to
understand that it refers to a man.

It is a very roundabout way to refer to Holy Ghost, the one of God in Trinity in these
manners.

Therefore these multitudes of masculine pronounces are more applicable to our prophet
Mohammad (peace be on him) than Holy Ghost.
Who is the Comforter? (Contd)

4. The Comforter will not come into the world, unless Jesus goes away. If Jesus goes
away, only then the Comforter shall come.

This is a very critical condition, in which Jesus says that until he goes away, the
Comforter will not come.

If the Comforter was the Holy Ghost, then we see that It was coming and going during
the life time of Jesus and before the Jesus.

Jesus said to his disciples while he was alive “Receive you the Holy Spirit”….and “Holy
Spirit” descended on Jesus when he was being baptized.

This part of the prophesy is very clear to indicate that Comforter was another prophet,
who will not come into the world untill Jesus is present (we cannot have two prophets
and two missions at the same time).

Our prophet came a long time after jesus had gone, so he fulfills the condition laid down
in this prophesy.

Who is the Comforter? (Contd)

5. The Comforter shall be like Jesus, because Jesus uses the word “Another
Comforter”.

This part of the prophesy that Comforter will be like Jesus, shows that he will be another
one Like Jesus, another one with flesh and bones, like Jesus was.

Holy Ghost, being non material cannot be like Jesus. So this part of the prophesy is
complied by our prophet and not by the Holy Ghost.
Who is the Comforter? (Contd)

6. The comforter shall stay with them “forever”.

This is an argument, which Christians use very much to say that Comforter cannot be any
mortal, as he cannot live “forever”.

They fail to realize that some statements cannot be taken literally. Any prophet whose
mission and whose teachings are available and protected is infact “living” amongst the
people.

What Jesus seems to refer is that mission of that Comforter shall be for ever. The way in
which Moses and Jesus and past prophets are living in their teachings, so shall be this
comforter.

So there is nothing in this part of prophesy, which negates our prophet to be excluded
from it.

Who is the Comforter? (Contd)

7. Jesus had many things to tell, but his disciples could not bear or understand them
at that time, This Comforter shall tell New things.

This is another “Key word” of this prophesy, Jesus had many more things to tell, but the
rime was not ripe and his disciples were not ready to receive it.

But when the Comforter shall come, the times would be different and he will clarify
every thing and solve all problems.

The Holy Ghost which is supposed to have come on the day of Pentecost, did not say
anything , he did not solve any problem and there is not a single of its teaching recorded
anywhere. Jesus said “Many things”….but we cannot find a “single one”.

Christians scholars who are saying some teachings were told by Holy Ghost on Pentecost
day, are just speaking from conjecture and without any proof.

Our prophet brought a complete new code of life, which added and removed many things
from the code of Jesus and Moses and updated them to be fit for modern world and this
code shall remain in the world “forever”.

Therefore this key phrase of prophesy is not satisfied by Holy Ghost at all.
Who is the Comforter? (Contd)

8. The comforter shall bear witness to Jesus and shall call the world to Justice.

I think every one will agree that Holy Ghost did nothing of the above (and there is no
way in which we can verify it), but our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him) did both
of these things.

It is only because of him that 1.5 billions of Muslims in the world believe in the prophet
hood of Jesus.

And it was our Mohammad (peace be on him) that admonished Jews as why they do not
believe in Jesus and he admonished Christians as to why they have raised the status of
Jesus from a human to God and one in God in a Trinity.

If it was not for our prophet Mohammad (peace be on him), the world would never have
known about the true position regarding Jesus and they would have been divided into two
extreme positions, Jews who reject Jesus as a prophet and Christians who raise Jesus to
the level of Divinity.

Holy Ghost on the other hand is something whom no one can see and confirm what he
said or did not say. No one have heard him speak any thing!

Who is the Comforter? (Contd)

9. The Comforter shall not speak of himself, what he shall hear the same he shall speak
(remember the phrase from Deut 18:18, “I will put my words into his mouth and he shall
speak only what I shall command him”).

This part of the prophesy is fully complied in case of our prophet and not in case of Holy
Ghost. When Holy Ghost is a complete God, how can we say that he will not speak of
himself, but will speak only what he hears.

Whereas in the case of our prophet, it is very clear that he did not speak of his accord.
Before he received revelation, he never spoke anything and never presented any
teachings in his forty years of living with Makkah people.

But the day when he received the revelation and got appointed to the mission, he was
transformed completely.

And it is recorded in more than place in Quran that “Our prophet does not speak on his
own accord, he only speaks what is revealed to him”.

This is verbatim compliance to this statement of Jesus that “he will not speak from
himself and whatsoever he shall hear, he shall speak”.
Now everyone can see and verify how easily and comfortably, every part of this prophesy
fits the personality and character of our prophet, we do not have to make any deviation
and assumption to fit on him one way or other.

Who is the Comforter? (Contd)

Objections from Christians:

No discussion is complete unless we take into account the objections of the opponents.
So we list down the major objections of Christians along with answers from our side:

Objection # 1.

In the Prophesy Jesus himself says that the Promised Comforter is Holy Ghost. When
Jesus himself has clarified it, what rights have other people to say otherwise?

Answer:

The answer is that Holy Spirit, Spirit of Truth, Spirit from God etc are used in Bible in
many places as equivalents to each other. So it is not correct to say that wherever Holy
Spirit is mentioned in Bible, it must mean the Holy Ghost, one who is United with God in
Trinity.

In 1 John 1-2 it is recorded “Dear beloved do not believe in every Spirit, test the spirit to
see whether they come from God, because many false prophets are now in the world”

Here John equates the spirits with prophets. Every True spirit or Holy spirit is the true
prophet and false spirit is the false prophet..

Objection # 2:

This prophesy was made to the Apostle of Jesus, so it must be fulfilled during the life
time of those apostles and not after 600 years.

Answer:

This is a very weak objection, because this shows that every prophesy must be fulfilled
during the life time to the people to whom it was made.

Then what about that “Emmanuel Prophesy” which was made to the Jews 500 years
before, but “according to Christians” was fulfilled after 500 years.
In the same way Jesus had said to his accusers “It is just as you say, I will tell you no
more: from now on you will see the son of man seated at the right hand side of the Most
Powerful God and coming on the clouds of heaven” (Mat 26:64)

Close to 2000 years have passed and no one has yet seen jesus coming on the clouds.

There are many more prophesies which jesus made to his apostles and they were not
fulfilled during their life times and Christians say that they will be fulfilled when the
Jesus will come for the second time.

So why this exception only about Comforter Prophesy?

Objection # 3:

Jesus said “The spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him
nor sees him..” (John 14-17), while people saw and knew prophet Mohammad?

Answer:

This is a very weak objection, because Christians have more need to take this seeing in
allegorical sense than Muslims. Because no one has seen or can see Holy Ghost because
he is God and united with God in a Trinity!

Then Jesus was right in saying that no one has seen the Comforter because he was yet to
come into the world and when he comes then people shall see him and know him.

And Jesus was also right that no one will be able to fully know all the qualities of
Comforter, because prophets of God are different from ordinary humans by a degree.

And Jesus has himself used “seeing and knowing” in allegorical sense at a number of
places in Gospel of John itself.

Objection # 4:

Jesus had said “…for he is with you and in you” (John 14:17)…. So this statement shows
that Comforter was with the apostles and cannot be for any one except the Holy Ghost

Answer:

Jesus had earlier said that “unless I come Comforter shall not come”….so we have to
interpret this verses as “He will come at a later date”….otherwise both these statements
are contradicting each other, which is not a good sign in the speech of Jesus.

And in the same way Jesus had said “I have told you before it happens, so that you
believe in it when it happens”
And this is normal for most prophesies, in some cases the future events are described as
some thing which has happened in past. There are many such examples in the pages of
Bible itself. People who study Bible regularly know it and this is not the place to go into
more details.

Objection # 5

Jesus had told his Apostles “Do not leave Jerusalem but wait for the fulfillment of the
Father’ promise about which I have spoken about. John Baptised with water but you will
be baptized with the Holy Spirit within a few days” (Acts: 1:4-5)

Therefore this prophesy of Comforter cannot be true for anyone else except Holy Ghost.

Answer:

It is not correct to merge the Comforter Prophesy with the Holy Spirit prophesy which
happened on Pentecost day.

Jesus had prophesized both the events and both happened on their appointed times.
Because we have seen when analyzing the prophesy of Comforter, that Holy Ghost does
not fulfill most of its criterion.

The point is that John mentioned Prophesy of Comforter and Luke mentioned the descent
of Holy Ghost on Pentecost day.

There are many miracles of jesus which are mentioned in only one Gospel and not in
others.

For example only John mentions the miracle of “water turning into wine” but no other
Gospel writer knows any thing about it.

Only Luke mentions about Jesus giving life to death of the son of Widow and only Luke
mentions Jesus sending seventy disciples to towns.

And only John describes about Jesus curing the leper by the pond and no one else.

Therefore there is nothing strange if only John mentions about Comforter and Luke about
Holy Spirit descending on Pentecost day and our Christian friends are merging these two
prophesies into one.

If some one has some more logical and / or reasonable objection, we will try to answer it
Inshallah.
Chapter-5 (Conclusion)

To recap the whole arguments, I would like to give summary of my arguments from our
previous argument.

A. Biblical Prophesies:

1. What is a Prophesy: Prophesy is a word picture of a future event or a future person

describe in any old religious book.

2. Jews and Christians claim that their books have prophesies of most major events that
have happened in past 3000 odd years and those that shall happen in future till the end of
world.

3. But it is surprising that they say that books are “absolutely silent” about the advent of
Prophet Mohammad. How could it be because his advent changed the course of world
history and had a permanent effect or religious history of both Jews and Christians.

4. Then Jews say that their books say Nothing about advent of Jesus and Christians using
the “same books” point out mistake of Jews and claim that hundreds of verses prophesy
advent of Jesus and every phase of his mission in “no uncertain terms”. How it could be?
Who is speaking the truth? Jews or Christians and why?

5. Therefore Muslims have the same right to check and verify the books of Old and New
Testament and point out to Jews and Christians that such and such verses refer to advent
of prophet Mohammad (peace be on him).

B. Abraham and his Sons:

1. God blessed Abraham and promised that He will bless him and his sons after him and
thru him all nations shall be blessed.

2. First born son of Abraham was Ishmael thru Hagar, Egyptian servant of Sarah. He was
born when Abraham was 86 years old and for next 13 years of his life, he was the “Only”
son of Abraham.

3. Abraham settled his infant son Ishmael and Hagar in distant place of Makkah on the
commands of God. When Ishmael felt thirsty and was about to die, God gushed forth a
well for him in that isolated place. That well is still in working condition.

4. When Ishmael was 10 or 11 years old, God ordered Abraham to sacrifice his “Only
son” Ishmael….both Abraham and Ishmael carried out this scene, till at the very last
moment God saved Ishmael. This ceremony is still celebrated in the children of Ishmael.
5. When Abraham was 99 years Old, God blessed Abraham with another son Isaac. God
blessed Isaac and swore to make him a big nation, and God at the same time repeated His
promise to make Ishmael and his descendents also a great nation.

6. Great Nation is God’ eye does not only mean Physical Kingdom but the office of
Prophethood and leading nations.

7. Abraham settled his elder son Ishmael in Arabia and younger son Isaac in the land of
Canaan.

8. God’ promise to make Isaac a great nation was fulfilled immediately as many prophets
came in their midst and for many centuries they were “trustees” of the God’ revelation.

9. God’ promise to Ishmael was fulfilled many centuries later in the form of Last and
Final prophet Mohammad (peace be on him)., who was a direct descendent of Ishmael.

C. Prophesies about our prophet from the books of Old Testament:

1. First Prophesy from Deut 18:18 , Prophet like Moses.

“So God said to me “They have spoken well, I shall raise up a prophet from their midst,
one of their brothers, who will be like you. I will put my words into his mouth and he will
tell them all what I command. If some one does not listen to my words when the prophet
speaks on my behalf, I will call him to account for it”

This is most direct and clear prophesy regarding our prophet in all books of OT.

2. Second Prophesy: from Deut 21:20-21,

“I will hide my face from them and see what will become of them. They are so perverse,
so unfaithful. They made me jealous with their false gods and angered me with their
idols. I will therefore make them envious of a foolish people. I will provoke them to
anger with an empty headed nation”

Foolish people and Empty Headed nation refers to Arabs who were not a learned nation
till that time.

3. Third Prophesy: From the book of Deut. Chapter 32

“Yahweh came from Sinai, he rises above the horizon of Seir for his people, he has
shown from mount Paran…” Deut 33:2

In this verse, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad (peace be on them all) are mentioned
referring to Sinai, Seir and Paran respectively.
4. Fourth Prophesy: Psalm 45 Verse 1-17

Speak about a most beautiful and powerful king that will rule over nations. The qualities
mentioned fit our prophet without much twisting and turning.

5. Fifth Prophesy: Isaiah Ch. 42 “My Servant”

“ Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight”

These qualities fit the personality of our prophet without any twist and turn.

6. Sixth Prophesy: Isaiah Ch 42 : 9-17 “Sing a New Song”

The places and scenery fits with Arabia and Makkah and Madina.
7. Seventh Prophesy: Isaiah 54 : 1-17 “Rejoice O barren women”

“Rejoice O barren woman who has not given birth, sing and shout for joy, you who never
had children, for more are the children of rejected woman than the children of married
wife” says Yahweh.

“Enlarge the space of your tent, stretch out your hangings, lengthen your ropes and
strengthen your stakes, for you will spread out to the right and to the left, your
descendents will take possession of the nations and inhibit cities that have been
abandoned”

“Do not be afraid, for you will not be deceived, do not be ashamed for you will not be
disgraced, you will forget the shame of your youth; no longer will you remember the
disgrace of your widowhood.”

“For a brief moment I have abandoned you, but with great tenderness I will gather my
people….I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I have had mercy on you says
Yahweh your redeemer”…

These verse clearly refer to Hagar and her people Arabs who were “hidden” for many
centuries….now was the time to come into lime light.

8. Eighth Prophesy: Isaiah 65:1-6 “People who did not know me”

This is a clear prophesy to replace jews with a people who did not ask for God and did
not know Him, a fitting picture of those days Arab people.
E. Prophesies from NT Books:

1. First Prophesy: Mat. “Kingdom of Heaven is Near”

Both Jesus and John the Baptist gave the “same” good news that Kingdom of Heaven is
near, it was established when the Last prophet of God came on earth

2. Second Prophesy: Workers and their wages: Mat. Ch 20 1-16

Here also Jews , Christians and Muslims are mentioned as different group of workers.
3. Third Prophesy: Landowner and Tenants: Matthew 21:33-44

This prophesy also shows that Jews will be removed from their Pole position and
replaced with another nation.

4. Fourth Prophesy. Ruler with Iron Rod, Revelation:

In this prophesy, ruler with Iron Rod refers to our prophet.

5. Fifth Prophesy: “Another Comforter to come after Jesus” John Ch 14, 15 & 16.

This is a very clear prophesy, which Jesus delivered during his last days on this earth.
The comforter referred to in these verses is no other than our prophet Mohammad (peace
be on him).

May Allah guide us to Right Path
